Chloe's AMAZING nails ... by Moi ;-)

I used a base of Models Own Pastel Pink to create this girly manicure for my friend Chloe. Using a few gems, a girly pink bow and some GOSH holo polish to create a heart, I love how this came out. A week on its started to chip so I'm chuffed it lasted that long!

The Lazy 15 Nail Art Challenge - November 2012 -Dessert Nails

Hey all... Sorry for the pretty lame effort today for the challenge. Its been a manic week and im soooo tired! I used an MUA Fairy Dust Nail polish in a dusky pink with some cake shaped fimo layered on top.

Erica's Nails and More 10 Day Nail Art Challenge - Day 6 - Inspired by another's nails

Im as obsessed with Pinterest as I am with Tumblr and I found this wicked mani on one of the pinboards. 

My freehand lines arent amazing and I messed up the clean up a bit so apologies that its a bit of a poor effort. I used Barry M Red Glitter for the Dorothy shoes which is one of my fave glitters! Gosh holographic hero was the basis for the wand on my accent nail which is just lush.

The Lazy 15 Nail Art Challenge - Feminine Nails

I love pink and I think that its a really feminine colour hence me using this for the challenge. I decided on a french... well what is more feminine and classic than that! I used 2 of the new MUA Cosmetics shades and a jewel to set it off!

The Lazy 15 Nail Art Challenge - Favourite Colour

My 2 favourite colours at the moment are Kiko Pink and GOSH Holographic Hero. I love the Kiko colour because pink is my absolute favourite colour and this is one that I could call Barbie Pink! It almost has a blue hue to it in the light that I dont think the camera picked up. The GOSH colour is a limited edition that I discovered last week. It is AMAZING and covers in one coat. I chose a french to highlight the two.

Erica's Nails and More 10 Day Nail Art Challenge - Day 5 - Half Moons

I am totally in love in neons at the moment so I thought that day 5 would be a perfect time to do a neon half moon mani!

I freehanded the half moons and tied them up using a cotton bud (or a q-tip for you guys in America). Miss Sporty pink and coral in the clubbing shades were my colours of choice and for the reverse dots. I then used the Models Own nail art pen in blue to outline the half moons.

Hope you all like this one... I'm very pleased with it xx

I have been looking for a mani to use my new Models Own Hayley's Comet and I thought the Galaxy Nail would be an excellent opportunity!

I used a couple of coats of the Models Own with a sweep of glitter and a star.

Erica's Nails and More 10 Day Nail Art Challenge November 2012 - Day 4 Delicate Print

My Boyfriend let me have my Christmas Konad stamping set early so I could do my delicate print ;-) Im so lucky!

This was my first experiment with stamping and I got the hang of it in a couple of goes. I used a Models Own pastel pink and the Konad blue polish from the set. I love how the blue shines on the pink.

Lazy 15 Nail Art Challenge - Day 4 - Water Marbling

Arghhhh!! I find water marbling so hard to do and I do believe that this is my best example to date. I used a shot glass on the recommendation from another blogger and it worked perfectly!

I used Barry M Navy, Miss Sporty Pink and Coral. They were all pretty much brand new polishes so I do believe this helped. I’ve decided to upload a pre-clean up pic as well so you can all see what a mess I got myself in!

Glamour Nails Inc Polish

So I was looked at very bizarrely in Tesco's today for buying 2 of the same magazine! But when its £2 for a magazine and an £11 polish I see that as a no brainer ;-)

I've found the Glamour Glitter and St James so far as that was all they in my local store. I'll be having a look round for the other 2 colours over the month and see if I really want them.

The Glamour Glitter looks like a lush small gold glitter and St James is bright red... both fab colours for the upcoming Christmas season! Swatches to come later on as my poor nails have had 3 mani's done to them this evening.

Lazy 15 Nail Art Challenge - Day 3 - Dots

So I thought for today i'd try something a bit different and use a bold base colour and put the dots around the edge of the nail. I really like it and think it'd work with all sorts of combinations. I was going to try some kind of design in the middle but I think I need to wait until a couple of my stubby nails grow!!

I used Barry M Gelly in Pomegranite for the base, Rimmel London Black Cab and MUA All Nude for the dots.

The Lazy 15 Challenge - Day 2 - Gradiant Nails

I apologise now for my poor gradiant. I'm really not good at it and this took me about 8 attempts!!

I've attached a picture of the polishes used... Pink Miss Sporty, Blue George at Asda and Silver Foil Barry M.

If anyone has any tips as to how I can improve, i'd love to hear them. I've watched umpteen Youtube tutorials and I still cant get it to work for me. Maybe thats what I'll do for my 'Inspired by a tutorial' mani!! Love and glitter xx
