how do we feel about this, chat?
on one hand I wanna add to my muses page the pride flag related to their identities
on the other hand, do i really wanna spend time doing that? XD
i would put the flags in that area. One for gender (trans, nonbinary...), one for romantic orientation, one for sexual orientation...
but I have one (1) cishet muse
so i wonder if it would be easier to do a note? Like for example:
Teresia Karisik Sage/Tessa (cisgender/aromantic/bisexual)
either way it'd be in the area circled below;

Yukio didn't mean the facial hair but the body hair — however she wouldn't know to correct Bucky's assumption as he didn't voice his thoughts. The ronin is a mere human, unable to decipher thoughts the way some mutants did.
Her ability to kill was what set her apart from her brethren. She chuckles as he brings up the recruiting techniques of the Hand. "They aren't smart — I won't join them regardless of what they attempt. They can't beat me into submission, and they can't entice me to join. I am a dilemma to them."
She shakes his flesh hand, curious about the other one. Curious, but too polite to inquire about it. "Bucky, you're a good fighter," she compliments, nodding with a smile. "And strategist," she adds with a wink.
"But this is the Hand. You can never truly root them out. They always come back no matter how many of them we dispatch to the afterlife." She grimaces. "I heard some of them even managed to come back from that through forbidden means. I can't fathom why anyone would do that."
The Wild One has had a long life already — longer than she ever anticipated — and she has no desire for eternity. She wants to savor every day knowing that it could be the last, she wants to feel the impermanence of life to enjoy it to the fullest. "One of your western singers sang, I don't wanna live forever, because I know I'll be living in vain. I feel that way about immortality."
on that, bucky would silently agree to disagree, hitching a grin in lieu of sharing water-warbled memories of a younger logan grinding his prickly, wiry stubble into a smaller bucky's cheek just to work up him up in the morning, harmless torture to greet european theatre of war and it's foggy mornings. it left topical burns that faded as the day closed out into the night, but the impression of the recollection left it's paltry scar. he'd groused about it until his ears steamed, he thinks.
arms shake out, prosthetic and natal alike, ball-joints rolling synchronously; the tide of battle droughts into lapping adrenaline, damming itself to disperse into bucky's limbs. he gives an acknowledging nod, casts his gaze briefly over the field of interlocking bodies. ' no lone wolves, huh? i can't imagine attacking somebody you wanna recruit is gonna get them on your side, wonder how well that works for 'em. '
but even he knew there were limits. bucky takes care to prompt his right hand, warm flesh over cold plated adamantium-vibranium sting, firmly but kindly cupping her hand. he feels the lissome strength in her tendons, knuckle joints. ' bucky. you too, yukio. ' glee tapers into a well worn dimpled smile, he slackens his grip when appropriate. ' if there's more of 'em holed up nearby, i say we root them out. i think we can take 'em. '

Emma is not new to the games of the minds, and she knows better than prod his with her abilities. Enough about him sets off her internal alarms. With this type of being, Emma would limit herself to feeling the surface emotions, to try and get the intent of the person. Ares, being a god of war, always read as ready to fight to her so she doesn't rely on it.
"You're not a god of love," she points out when he brings up Fang and the loves of his life. "You're a god of war," stating the obvious, which is something she does not enjoy doing. "What's to say that you won't worsen the situation because you thrive on conflict?"
She feels that her concern is valid, and she considers the massive being standing before her. "What if we want to pursue peace at some point? Will you withdraw on our say-so?"
She doesn't react to his statement about his cult at first, maybe the doctrine does not say to attack mutants, but mutants lives are always full of strife and hardships. A god of war may have a hand in that, and as such she reserves judgment on that front.
"What is said in the doctrine, and what is left unsaid — I don't know whether any of our past enemies worshiped you."
Ares had never been worried the mutants of Krakoa would care about his sexual appetites. After all, the things he had heard from Fang made him think the mutant society was quite open to men loving men.
Gods threatening war against all mutantkind, however? Hardly.

"Neither were the actions of the X-Men, at the time." He walked over to Emma, wondering if she could feel the vast press of his mind. Ares was no telepath, but his power was immense. Enough to keep them out. To be a danger.
"Mutants rioted, and I made a declaration. Cross my line, and I declare war." He turned from Emma, walking the circle as he spoke. "I make no apologies for my nature. For the side I chose. It got me my son. It brought me to the man I love."
His circle brought him back to the center. To judgment. "I am not a mutant. But I will fight." He didn't mention his cult like following. And maybe he should. "Tell me. Who among you has been attacked by a member of the Temple of Ares?" Another turn to look. A challenge. "No doctrine says 'attack mutants'."
