Do you have a favorite movie soundtrack?

i don't think so? i usually don't pay much attention to movie soundtracks, but any Studio Ghibli movie is going to have an amazing one. i'd say Castle in the Sky and Totoro for those.

we did it. we finished supernatural. and @skittles-the-whumpee was right -- i did in fact need many tissues. i bawled my fucking eyes out. i STILL keep crying whenever i think about the ending.

that...was beautiful. that was truly the best, and only, ending that the boys could have had. i'm sad, but god damn i am happy, so fucking happy for them that most of these are happy tears.

god...15 years. that show went on for 15 years and i'm so happy JJ introduced it to me at this point of my life. genuinely my favorite show now. genuinely such a life changing show. and to know that it got, and still gets, SO much hate and flack...that's the truly sad thing.

i'm so grateful we got 15 seasons. as with any show, there were things i didn't like -- only a few things in this one -- but god damn i loved every bit of it. i loved the characters. i LOVED that we went from a monster of the week, to angels and demons, to good and evil, to destiny, to free will, to humanity. God being the final BBEG, after all of the other villains, was SO perfect for the narrative. his defeat was so perfect, and 100% what he deserved.

the hopeful, loving messages of such a dark, angsty, whumpy show...the philosophical questions that it tackled...the relationships we got to see, especially with Sam and Dean...i'm not kidding when i consider Supernatural a fucking masterpiece.

and when i eventually do my rewatch, i'm excited to keep the stories going with fanfic and love. i'm excited to go back on the journey knowing what'll happen now.

i really hope that one day, i can tell a story with just as much impact on people that this show had on me.

Well, not exactly...Ah, well, I did get a flashlight jerked from my hand violently. After putting up a struggle to keep it in my hand. But to be fair, I did not wanna be hit with a fat ass metal/aluminum (not sure) flashlight. ndnkdn But my wrist swelled up for a few hours. (I am fine now though, but ah, it did hurt.)
