WITHOUT A NAME Creator Spotlight: Eric Leukert, Producer

Mr. Leukert acted as one of the three producers of "Without a Name" and was instrumental in launching the project as well as helping to steer it through filming, post production, and release. Mr. Leukert is a proud Wisconsin filmmaker and one of the partners in Mad Towne Films. His other projects include the films / series "The Bear and the Lion," "Bob's Best Friends," "Cacio e Papa," "Mags and Julie Go on a Road Trip," and the forthcoming "Killer Hippie." He is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

ABOUT THE ROLE: QT (Amelia Mahrie) is one of the Sin Nombre members who participate in the abduction and execution of one of the main characters, illustrating the systemic nature of the mysterious cult's indoctrination and violence.

ABOUT THE ACTOR: Ms. Mahrie was born in Racine, Wisconsin but grew up around the world. Spending the majority of her teenage years living abroad in both Malaysia and Germany, it was in Asia where she stepped onto stage for the first time in her middle school's production of "High School Musical Jr." Since then, Ms. Mahrie has grown into the theatrical and cinematic roles of a warrior elf, a lead singer in a punk band, a psychic, a mysterious businesswoman, a desperate teen mom, an orphan in search of a home, and much more.

WITHOUT A NAME Actor Spotlight -- Tom Reed as "Stones"

In "Without a Name," Stones (Tom Reed) is a shady figure involved in a diamond deal with Darren Kelly. Though not a member of Sin Nombre, Stones acknowledges the small town of Bundy’s dangers and warns Darren to get out as soon as possible.

Actor Tom Reed is known for his work in "The Coldest Game," "Without a Name," and "Earlybird." He is the Associate Artistic Director of the Optimist Theatre and was an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Alverno College in Milwaukee for over 22 years. He earned a BA in Theatre from James Madison University and an MFA in Theatre from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
