As I said I am going to occasionally post Ferrari facts that I come across in my research and I was looking into their academy program and without 2026 signees 3/8 drivers are women with 2026 4/10. And right now I am very curious as to what will they do with Maya and Aurelia and where will they go as this is their last year at F1 Academy.

Another very non fun fact is that some other driving academies/junior programs like RedBull and McLaren - who have a tendency to sign drivers for F1 Academy only, Mercedes has 2 girls - Doriane and Luna (also very curious as to where Doriane will go after F1A as she seems to have a lot of support from Merc) and Alpine academy/Renault/Lotus (they changed the name a lot) does have a program (Race(H)er) for girls in karting and does seem to support them outside F1, but only for a bit.

Now, I am very cautiously hopeful about this, as having a backing from a team as big as Ferrari is very important for reasons I don't have to explain and Ferrari does seem open about supporting women in racing and actually has Lillou Wadoux as a factory driver (a very good driver at that, for those of you who did not know she is the first woman to win a WEC race). But still cautious as Ferrari has only recenly started signing women and girls, so we'll have to see where that will lead.
