God, the end of Chapter 4 (end of Act 0, I believe) of A Tale of Crowns still gives me CHILLS. I always love it when a writing's so good and detailed and well-paced that you can vividly visualise and hear it. Every time I read that scene, I get goosebumps.

I just want to thank you for writing a story that feels so SAFE. Having a setting where there is no 'coming out' or having to GIVE your pronouns because it's seen as completely normal and common courtesy to ask makes me feel so at home even as things IRL get more scary. So I really just want to say how grateful I am that there's such a gripping and amazing story that is so welcoming to people like me

I really appreciate that 💖 Personally I prefer writing stories where at least that part of a setting offers a bit of escapism to people, and I think without specifying things too much, that way it also leaves plenty of space for players to have their own headcanons.

Everyone's interpretation of their own gender and sexuality is unique, after all, and there's no way to account for all of it no matter how many options I add. So this was the best way I found to be inclusive and offer a safe space where it's just seen as a natural part of the setting 🙏🏼

hey! hope this find you well? i read your last progress report and "Li-sar major romance only happens in book 4" what?? does this mean Li-sar romance is book 4 only? i'm confused😭

Li-Sar is a Book Four only romance, yeah. Not only would it completely melt my brain to write another romance route continuing on for the later books (I'm LOVING writing it, but it's already slowing things down a ton, lol), but Li-Sar is a villain.

Like, a proper villain, lol! And the Agency's goal is to defeat villains…so…that's where most of the delicious drama comes in for Li-Sar's romance! :D

But that's not to say it won't be mentioned again or pop up occasionally. I want this romance to feel as deep as the others, and the MC can't forget that kind of love just because the book ends!

why havent i seen anyone talking about the fucking BEASTLY design of Caligari like this guy looks like he's gonna be a MENACE

#YO the fact that he's so completely different from the other characters though like #everyone else is so toonish and sketchy #but caligari is all... clean lines and astoundingly 3d... which creates an uncanny valley vibe #and then worthikids just casually drops a fucking HORRIBLE REVEAL in a show we all thought is just pure comedy...#I just want to say how GENIUS it is... especially caligari's design...
