///drops art here and runs My laptop disk drive broke last week and I lost most of my data, including so many unfinished personal .sai projects! yeah ... i was pissed ･:*:･ﾟ but never mind! If an idea's good, it sticks right? (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) This is a commission for @beyondsanity22 ~ I actually completed a different version of this and finished it just before my disk broke ... guess I'll never see it again ~ ! but this version is better imo, I like her expression better. ヽ(*⌒▽⌒*)ﾉ and I really enjoyed drawing her! Such a gorgeous character, and i love her moody personality, just such a treat to draw:*:✼

I had to enforce some meaning on this illustration as it is, at it's most basic, a commission sample and an experiment with a more stylistic approach. Nonetheless, I enjoyed all the bright colours and the feeling of peace that that calm light peach tone conveys. It was a little bit like returning to how I used to draw, after having disregarded my normally strict principles concerning style. Not worrying about what anyone else would think of it, and trusting in myself to make the shit look alright in the end. Which I guess it does?
