The infamous ending of the latest live action cash grab is a reflection of the lives, values, and choices of the kinds of people who make it in Hollywood and are in a position to shape such things
They have to write an ending like that and it has to be noble because that is the choice they all make in those kinds of circumstances

A culture that condones, encourages, or allows prostitution of any kind is a culture that agrees that people's bodies and physical affection (especially the bodies and affection of women and young girls) are for sale and upholds sexual desire and satisfaction (especially male desire and satisfaction) as more important than human dignity, unselfish love, true consent, healthy sexual desire, and human rights.
Strip clubs turn people into products. OnlyFans turns people, especially women, into products. Pornography of any kind turns people into products. Smut turns people into products.
Sex is not a product to be sold. Sex work is not work. It's exploitation. Even if it is "voluntary" and "consensual" and "joyful", it still encourages the worst sort of culture and builds up an industry founded on exploitation and abuse, especially of the vulnerable and/or young (as in minor children). I don't care how much money someone makes on OnlyFans or how much they supposedly enjoy themselves. Even if they're not victimized by the industry personally (which I argue they inherently are, even if they don't see it that way), they're making themselves complicit in the world's desire to normalize turning people into sexual objects.
Abolish pornography. Abolish prostitution.
Protect the vulnerable, instead of trying to legitimize their abuse so that perverts can find sexual gratification at the swipe of a credit card.

the most annoying people are people who don't understand storytelling. they be like "oooo how convenient that this thing happened to the main character in the very beginning". yeah no shit. that's why the story begins here

what are you thankful for today?
That God helped me finish the manuscript for The Reluctant Time Master. I've been writing for years, but mostly wasting the gift God gave me on a fandom that never had more than three members at a time. It was hard switching from animation to writing and I still don't have much to show for it, but I trust God that I'm planting seeds that will eventually bear fruit.

Fina from The Reluctant Time Master. She works at the Cookie Cafe and Joe has a crush on her. When Joe was at his loneliest, both of his friends drifting away from him, she was the only one that made him feel seen. She's quiet and seems a little shy, but Joe doesn't mind. He thinks that with some time, he can really draw her out of herself. What Joe doesn't know, though, is that behind her sweet and quiet demeanor, Fina is hiding a secret. She might know more about Joe than he thinks, and their meeting might not be as coincidental as he thinks.

nani in the original movie: i'm literally the only one who understands lilo, she's too autistic for the 2000s to handle and everyone else gives up on her or treats her like the problem. if anything happens to her i feel like i'm going to lose myself. literally everything i do in my life is so that i can keep custody of my sister and never have to have her separated from me, also this is lowkey a metaphor for colonialism
nani in the live-action movie: she'll be fine. im going to college

This is literally the plot of Robots
a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.
