ROLE GROUP: STABILIZER

stability handler, holder or a stabilizer -

a headmate role which describes a headmate who:

a. ) fronts to handle unstable headmates

b. ) act as a support or grounder

or c.) takes the feeling of negativity / unstableness away as their own.

this role group can be generally labeled as protectors and/or caretakers in some form.

frankly speaking, we ourselves dont use this term! we're more so putting it out there. it was made for a friend a long time ago, and i really just wanted to post it for anyone who did feel like it was possible or applied to someone in their system. many people have different interpretations of their system and headspace, which is kind of why there are a Lot of terms that may not make sense online. as i had just mentioned, i only wanted to put the term out there. no i don't think it's "necessary". this blog was made mostly as an archive for any terms we had lying around so even if no one identified it as important, it'd still be here as a rememberance. your confusion is totally reasonable and i hope this doesn't start an argument. (/gen)

someone who formed in headspace that, while having information about the system and its headspace, cannot find their way out of where they formed, or a certain area in headspace. they can also be considered a form of a scout! these members may or may not be able to front and can be essentially locked or tied to the place. other members of the system may or may not be able to visit them, and pass by the area.

a headmate who isn't easily triggered and may expose the body to perhaps triggering media or events, especially within the presence of other headmates. these headmates may not easily emotionally either, or simply don't find themselves bothered.

the greys represent the dull feeling they may experience, or represent a somewhat unbreakable wall, while the pop of blues and oranges in the middle may represent how most people feel triggered negatively, experiencing fear, anger and uncomfortability.

someone who fronts when the body is about to be sick, or forms from the body being sick, or experiencing illness-like symptoms. the person with this role might be a germaphobe, extremely paranoid about their health and similar.

the dark green and dark mint represents the color of what is often bacteria in media, and the light green represents nature and freedom.

the dark, almost black stripes represent the paranoia and stress this role may bring to a person, while the lighter green in the middle represents the safety this job will bring.

finally, the minty offwhite in the middle represents the peace and tranquility that the system will recieve if nursed to full health or in a good condition.
