One of my favorite lines from episode five is "slice of life animes are the worst" as it subtly implies Jax himself has watched or has knowledge of enough genres of anime to 1. Distinguish which genre he's in 2. Have an opinion of it , implying he doesn't even dislike anime as a whole and is just pretending to so he can bully Gangle from whatever angle he can 😭
