Selected Assignment 02
In this assignment i decided to choose to complete Practice 1: Developing Skills DMA Class project 7 - Designing Happy Accidents. I observed a Blender Add-on called Chat GPT and Blender AI embedded inside of the software. Following this, i tried to accomplish 3d modelling with only writing text based prompts through add ons and at the end of the day, i reached a couple interesting results which can be seen below. Later on, i decided to put one of the 3d models that AI produced for me into an augmented reality scene and make a Snapchat Filter. By using Lens Studio Snap AR software i prepared an AR scene with the procedural materials and visual effects that the program provides me and published the lens so that everyone can try it out by themselves.

Selected Assignment 01
I chose to complete our first assignment as the selected assignment 01 which is DMA Class project Self-Portrait with Technology. Initially, I was imagining myself as an avatar which looks bold and idealistic in a way to show these traits of mine. Firstly, I modelled an avatar as preliminary stage which used to look differently than it is right now because i was imagining those traits and reflecting in modelling stage differently. I decided not to proceed with that one eventually because of the advices and talks regarding this project with Ian at the tutorials. Basically, I wanted to come up with an avatar way more interesting and futuristic than the other one. At this point, I was inspired from an artist who works on organic and procedural materials by the help of Ian. I prepared an procedural materials on Blender to give my avatar idealistic and visually interesting appeareance. And then, I started to work on the body. Mostly worked with sculpting to create my avatar as bold and as futuristic as possible. Finally, i decided to not to take an image still render because i wanted to show this digital art installation as interesting as possible, that's why i decided to animate the material i had prepared before and add some music behind to give a vibe to the audience.

AI-Driven “Daily Fortune” website
A digital installation that uses generative AI to give users a unique “fortune” in the form of an abstract artwork each day, reflecting random influences or user prompts. Allowing users to input a few words or phrases, which the AI model interprets to create an artwork. Each day, the generation could be influenced by external variables like current events or news. Users get a different, personalized fortune in the form of an artwork each time they visit. The core idea is to give users a unique, daily-generated artwork based on either random influences or their input. The “fortune” could be something abstract like a feeling, color scheme, or pattern, or it could lean toward more literal interpretations, with visuals reflecting themes like “adventure,” “calm,” or “mystery.”
Technical Research
Prompt-based: Users enter a few words, which influence the artwork.
AI Art Generation: Using a generative AI tool like DALL-E, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion for visual output. Each session would pull new prompts or combinations for unique results.
Display & Save Options: Consider allowing users to save or share their artwork. Display it with a timestamp or a unique “fortune” message.

For a Limited Time
Siebren Versteeg, 2023
"For a Limited Time" by Siebren Versteeg is a fascinating project where he used generative art techniques to create a time-based series of digital artworks. The premise was to produce unique, evolving art pieces that responded to contemporary social and cultural trends, particularly those with a digital presence.

ArtAI
SilentByte, 2021
ArtAI is an interactive installation that collects real-time ideas from social media and uses deep learning to curate these into dynamic displays. It leverages AI art generation to create evolving visuals based on public input.
The system employs VQGAN+CLIP for image generation, integrating user-generated content into the artwork.

Reflection
I think in general I put together a really good job by using Touchdesigner and playing with noises and textures. However, I should have added an audio reactive effect which makes the artwork more meaningful instead of putting a background music in which plays as itself.

Concept Development
Media performance art project that explores the concept of fluidity particle and repetative art by using seamless and noise textures. Algorithms generate visualisation of fluidity and instant wave movevement inspired by the works of Turkish AI & ML artist Refik Anadol.
Project Goal: To create an experience where viewers confront the fragmented, sometimes distorted nature of particle and repetative art.
Technical Research
Using Touchdesigner algorithm on various visual and auditory data sets (e.g., math, feedback, particelGPU) to interpret and reconstruct these seamless noise textures, translating them into surreal visual projections.
Projection Mapping: Create large-scale projections across walls, floors, and ceilings of a performance space to envelop the audience.
Interactive Environment: Motion sensors detect the audience's movement, allowing them to interact with the projections. For example, standing still might cause crystallize and come into focus, while movement might cause them to distort and fade. (Optional)
