Recently been working on flipping old clothes into something either I can wear or sell, so this is my new seat project:) I knew I didn’t want a pair of men’s shorts to wear so I thought why not turn them into a skirt ! The whole thing took about three days as I had to wrap my head around how I was going to do it but soon I’ll be getting more stock and selling them on my depop ! Kendall Jenner is  24 year old model, who’s rise to fame came about through her family, the Kardashians. She appears on the family’s tv show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Among all of her sisters, Jenner is the only one who’s soul career is modelling uses pretty much all of the major social media platforms as a way of showcasing her brand; her face. So, for Kendall Jenner her Instagram is very important. Ive noticed after looking more into her page, that lots of her campaigns, projects and current work is posted to her page to almost, keep the world updated.

The overall look of her page dosen’t have a particular colour scheme or a particle theme. Also, as you can see from above, her bio, and profile picture and both very simple and dosen’t really say a lot about her. this shows to me that maybe she wants her face to do more of the talking than her. I’ve also noticed that her page is very “on trend” we can only assume this is so that she can stay very relevant as she is so in the public eye and gets judged for everything.

I enjoy Kendall’s page and am actually quite jealous. I really like the simplicity of it. I like that her look is more natural, i think it’s appealing to her audience especially because she’s a model and, before it was more typical of models to have very glam looks and always to look very glamorous, but with Kendall, because she;’s more natural and you get the feeling she’s unafraid to be more vulnerable and people on social media love to be able to know as much as they can about celebrities they look up too, so with this i think thats one of the main reason her page pulls in so many people, and why she’s the highest paid model in the industry.

CALLMEEZZIE (call me Ezzie) is an Instagram influencer as well as a Youtuber. She is just 15 years old and is from\ lives in Sweden, but her page reaches thousands of people. She does it for fun

inspo for final digital piece x

i really like these two by Manjit thapp because i like the layering effect she’s created in photoshop. Although it is her own drawing she has a way of making her work look very professional which i really like, but her pieces are still full of character; she hasn’t let the digital side of her work overtake the message and talent of her work.

I really like this piece by Bijou Karman because it too has a layering effect and is quite simple in the colours used so that the real focus is on the figure in the piece. I like the bright pink because its eye catching and the leaf she’s added in as a layer, keeps her work more personal, as when looking into the artist more, this was one of her main inspirations.

At the moment i’m thinking that i might use normal pencil, colour pencil and water colour. Ill use pencil and colour pencil on the actual figure and water colour on the objects ill also scan into photoshop to creating layering within my piece. Im thinking the figure i draw, i want to be real as it creates more of an identity for the final piece for me to work with. I could either draw a friend or i could draw myself depending on which pictures i take and which i feel best suits to the style of the artists my piece will be inspired by.
