on this trans day of visibility i want to give a special shoutout to nonbinary trans people, especially those of you who aren’t sure whether or not you’re allowed to participate because you feel like being nonbinary means you’re “not trans enough” to count. 

you’re still trans. you do count. you have every right to make yourself heard.

i want every young trans girl to know that i’m so proud of them for figuring things out, for being themselves. you aren’t too young to know, you should be respected and treated kindly. i also want them to know there’s hope for them, there’s so many possibilities for a bright future! if you want, you could be in a relationship with someone who loves you just the way you are! you could find something you’re passionate about and pursue your dreams! you can love yourself, learn to think of yourself as beautiful and good! things can be scary and overwhelming sometimes, but there’s people who will be there for you. i’m always rooting for you! i hope all of you see something that makes you smile today and i hope you can find the support you deserve! <3

you know what i want all of us to normalize? trans people changing their name more than once.

you changed your name again because the other one didn’t work for you? that’s cool.

you changed your name again because you found another better one? that’s cool.

you changed your name back because it just felt better? that’s cool!

also normalize not changing your name at all, or having several different names, and just normalize all kinds of relationships with names, because it really does get complicated for some. and that’s cool.

So I found a site that does a subscription box for your period- it sends you basics like hygiene products, pain medication as well as snacks and pampering stuff to make you feel good, 

but the best thing is they have a specialty boxes, like vegan or kosher only snacks but also 

they specifically offer boxes for menstruating guys and nb folks. 

which is pretty darn cool.
