Hollywood has no concept of what 5th century Romans looked like. If I'm watching a movie about the final days of the Western Roman Empire, I should be seeing zero togas. It's like if you made a movie about the Trump administration, you wouldn't have people dressed like the founding fathers. That's how wrong it is.

I think the problem is that pop culture has this theme park version of history that treats time periods like distinct worlds with no fluidity between them. In Roman Times, people dressed like this vs Medieval Times when people dressed like that. But that is obviously not how time works. The end of the Western Roman Empire led directly into and overlapped with the Middle Ages, and the aesthetics we associate with medieval Europe were already long established.

who said any of that? that was all you babes. trans kids with severe, crippling gender dysphoria is not the same as the typical discomfort with puberty. many cis women literally get top surgery as well as transgender men. no one said it was exclusive to trans men. there are literally cisgender men who also get top surgery as well. you have a false idea of what gender dysphoria is. it isn't a hatred of your body parts. gender dysphoria is severe distress caused by an incongruence between your sex and gender identity that causes you to not be able to function in daily life. that is not the same as being uncomfortable with puberty. my whole point is that trans kids deserve gender affirming care. like i said in my post, i wouldn't be getting literal surgery if i was given gender affirming care at a younger age. the point of the post went your your head anon. get a grip and get a life.
