Chapter 10
Cool air blew against them as Angel entered the store. He felt how the human squirmed around a bit, seemed like it was a bit too cold for him. That didn't really matter though, he just had to make sure Xavier was nicely hidden in his fur. He didn't need anyone asking questions about him, let alone find out about Xavier to begin with. They'd take him away from him and he didn't want that. This was his human.. and he wouldn't want to share. Plus from all of his people he knew the most about humans, how frail they were, how they popped under his boots and how fun it was to crush them up in his mouth. He could practically feel their squirms in his maw already!
He let out a small purr which alerted the cashier. Their dark blue eyes looked at him, as they furrowed their brows and bared their teeth. Their light blue fur seemed to quite literally sizzle. Getting up from their chair, they stared at Angel intensely, clenching their fist. "It's you again! You still owe me money, remember?" Angel sighed and shrugged dramatically "It is what it is, I don't have your money at the moment.. hey maybe next time you're lucky and I'll remember." The cashier guy just growled, yet seemed to back off. Crossing their arms, they sat back down on their chair. Angel gave them a big grin and quickly made his way to some of the aisles.
He stopped in the middle of the aisle and gently petted his companions head, who was still shaken up by the current encounter. However Angel didn't seem to really care and instead bent down in order for Xavier to see the aisles that were meant for smaller people. "So.. you can show me what you can eat here and I'll just prepare you a nice meal with the items that I will then choose, alright?" Xavier cocked a brow "What you choose? I want to choose what I want to eat." the giant sighed, rolling his eyes and glanced down at Xavier. Between gritted teeth he hissed "Unless you want to cook a meal on my giant stove alone, I'm the one choosing the meal, got it?"
Xavier scowled and looked away. He'd cross his arms, yet the fur around him kept his arms in place... Like some gross furry prison. He wasn't even sure if this giant monster felt the need to shower in the first place. Xavier continued to pout like a little kid, until the corners of his mouth began to ache. It wouldn't have been a problem to him, though even the short period of time being around Angel made him feel pathetic. These emotions were new to him, never before had he felt like this. He hated his frail body, seeing how weak it was compared to the giant, who held his life in his hands. . . Or paws or whatever you would call them. The way none of his actions truly had any effect now only fed this strange, disgusting, new feeling. Even his own meal was chosen by the colossal beast, as if he wasn't even human. A person with thoughts and feelings, rather a toy or a.. pet who couldn't survive on its own. A creature bred to be held captive, a creature whose only purpose is to serve and entertain.
Anger began to boil in him again, it could've cooked up a whole meal, even for someone like him. He wanted nothing more than to scream, to rip out strands of fur and make himself known and show this world that he was of importance and not just some animal. Yet, not only was his voice merely a whisper to these giants, his diminutive size and the fear of angering the one who tore off his favourite leg stopped him. He paused. His favourite leg? Now even his own mind was against him, making sure those grueling feelings within him grew darker, and thus harder to bare. He felt so betrayed by himself.
How could he even think such things.
Lost in his own headspace, the sudden feeling of cold metal pressing against his face made him jolt up. "If you're done grumbling around like the stomach of a bear, can you help me choose the food items you can eat? I can't read your mind, ya know?" Xavier let out a huff, at least his own thoughts were in control of him.. for the most part at least.
Turning his attention to the can, he noticed that the image displayed on it, resembled that of a tomato. Sure, the colours were slightly off and it's shape was a bit different, however, overall it resembled a tomato. With an annoyed sigh, he gave Angel a yes in the form of a grumble.
What Angel thought to be a smile of happiness, that he was giving by bringing the human here, was in reality a smirk coming from Xavier, who enjoyed the fact that he could choose how to respond to him. Regardless of what Xavier's true intentions were, for just a moment, both of them were happy.
Even though Xavier knew he'd get on Angel's nerves, only answering with grunts and small nods, and risking losing another leg, he also knew that Angel would have to wait until they were back at home to let his frustration out on him. Though his anger would've surely be gone by then. And even if not, seeing Angel force a smile, trying to hide his feelings, made it worth the risk. After another gesture of acceptance to one of the food items Angel had shown him, his eyes wandered to the floor. There, near one of the small isles, was a tiny woman wandering around. She barely reached Angels ankles, yet didn't seem to mind and continued her shopping. She was wearing a nice pink dress, with a big white bow, that gave off the illusion as if she had big puffy wings. For a second he thought it was a human, that perhaps Angel lied to prevent him from leaving or crying out. Yet, to his pity, upon closer inspection he noticed small, inhuman features that clearly painted a different picture, such as pointy ears, golden eyes and small black markings on both their face and hands. Upset that the feeling of loneliness returned, in a sarcastic tone he whispered up to Angel "Oh look! Another tiny person, are you going to eat them too now?" Angel let out an indignant gasp. He glared at Xavier, snarling at him and growling loudly "I don't eat every tiny person I see! Urgh, I have enough of y-" A shrill noise, which resembled that of a hiss, from below cut Angel off. The woman seemed to have heard what Angel said and didn't look all too happy by his words. With a surprisingly loud voice, she hissed back "How could you say that! Are you trying to make me scared? What the hell is wrong with you for thinking of doing that! Oh... wait till your mother hears about this, young man!" She approached him, leaving a trace of sparkles behind, and kicked his foot. With that, she flicked her hair, let out an annoyed huff and floated away.
Xavier's mouth was gaping in surprise and joy of the sudden outburst and bravery coming from the lady. Looking up at Angel, he saw he was visibly upset, with a big frown and wide eyes, like a child that accidentally broke something. That only making the situation funnier to him. Trying his best not to burst out laughing "h..heh- what did she mean with.. telling your mom?" Angel shot him a deadly glare and, behind gritted teeth, uttered "She often buys pastries at my Mother's bakery.. and sometimes they have a little chit-chat about work, life and.... me." Angels ears twitched and slowly dropped down, pushing Xavier over the edge. Without warning, he burst out laughing, having to grip Angels fur tightly to steady himself. Tears of genuine joy rolled down his cheek, as he laughed about how embarrassing the situation was for Angel. Angel on the other hand didn't like this humiliation one bit, however before he got the chance to snatch up his little companion and shove him down his throat to shut him up, the cashier called him over. With a groan, he shoved Xavier down into his fur again. At least that muffled his laughter.
Clenching his fist and holding his bag, with the items he needed for a nice meal in the other, he marched over to the register. Forcing a smirk when he approached the register, he kept a distance so the cashier wouldn't notice anything off. "That lady complained that you were saying something about.. eating tiny people? Man.. I know you're weird and all, but do you have to scare off customers like that? Just keep what's on your head to yourself." The Cashier said nonchalantly, leaning back in his chair and stretched his arms, as if he was used to Angels weird comments. "Oh! Hah, that-.." Angel paused, thinking of how to cover himself, before getting an idea, "You see, as an entertainer, I have many roles I have to jump in! This.. was just me accidentally blurting out one of my characters thoughts.. to make them more.. authentic when it's time to present them, hahaha!" The cashier sighed and shook his head. With a gentle, yet stern voice he responded "Be more careful with your words next time, the lady wasn't all too pleased, thats for sure. Sigh, now get out of here before I kick ya out.. and get me my money, you know I charge for extra food. Oh and.. say hi to your mother from me when you go visit her, those cream puffs were immaculate." A mocking grin formed on the cashier's lips, saying those last few lines, seemingly knowing that they'd upset Angel. Clearly hurt by those words, he turned away and stormed out of the shop, taking the items with him, as he heard small chuckles.
They not only came from the cashier, but also from Xavier, who had listened to their brief conversation. Glaring holes into his fur, he plucked Xavier out of it and shook him slightly. "It was not funny at all! It's.. it's not my fault my mother has so many damn connections!" Angel growled, "you... You guys can't just make fun of me like that!" Xavier, on the other hand, had to try and force himself to stop "Cmon big guy, it was kind of funny.. and stop shaking me, unless you want your fur to be covered in barf " Angel shrieked and stopped almost instantly. The more Xavier looked into Angel's puffed up, blushing red face, the more he began to slowly feel a bit bad for laughing at him, his wide, glassy eyes, as if he were on the verge of crying, made that feeling grow. It was like staring into the eyes of a puppy, which was partially adorable, yet on the other hand uncanny. He didn't want to feel pity for this giant, especially when he looked at him that way. Though as he glanced at the bag Angel was carrying, realising he had just walked out without paying, the guilt washed away like mouthwash.
How could he not pay underpaid workers? They were trying to make a living and he didn't even give the man a dime. In fact, he didn't even remember Angel taking a wallet with him. Was Angel so used to stealing items, he stopped taking money with him? And was the money that angel owed, the cashier was referring to? Then why would he allow Angel to shop further.. to further undermine the work cashiers were doing. The job he himself did. He should've called the cops! Unless.. they didn't have those. Not even a justice system for people who wanted to make a living. The happiness he felt was now replaced with resentment, again. Though before he could comment on how disrespectful Angel was, he heard a quivering voice coming from Angel "Im.. I'm trying to get you food so you don't die and you repay me by laughing at me! Just wait till we're home! Oh.. I'm gonna-"
He stopped mid-sentence. His ears twitched and his pupils dilated, as he looked around frantically. He slowly backed away, trying to re-enter the store, yet, to Xavier's surprise and confusion, a loud thud was heard, causing Angel to stop. As Angel hastily turned around, Xavier saw how the doors were now barricaded with metal bars, preventing anyone from entering.
The Cashier, now visibly disturbed, was hiding behind his register, shaking his head violently as Angel frantically tried to get back inside. With frustration, he exclaimed "Let u-.. Let me in! Let me in!!" Though the cashier didn't make any effort to open up the door and rather rudely replied "No! Unless you get me my money, you're not coming inside! Everyone for themselves!" With that, the doors fully shut, with a metal wall fully sealing the entrance shut. Xavier grew more and more irritated with each passing moment with Angels sudden change in demeanour. These feelings only grew when he saw how people were running away, surprisingly not from Angel for once, yet something else entirely. Even Angel was now quickly walking away from the store, clearly distraught by.. something. His eyes darted around, trying to look for.. something.
A child could be heard crying somewhere behind them, with people trying to soothe them, as they escorted them away by the hand. Despite the lack of the ability to smell fear, from the way everyone was acting, nothing but terror was in the air, only fuelling his own fear. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, mustering up the courage to ask Angel ".. What the hell is going on. Why.. why is everyone acting up. . . . Oh man, I- I don't like this at all.." Angel let out a hefty sigh, taking a sudden turn and pressing himself against the wall, to allow others to pass by swiftly. Barely paying attention to Xavier flailing his arms around, waiting for a response. He tried to focus on something, as he answered Xavier, a bit annoyed "You can't.. hear the alarm? Seems like your ears are horrible too... What even is good about your bodies other than they taste quite good?" Xavier, not enjoying being in the dark, quickly snapped back "That was unnecessary. A- and.. no. I can't.. hear any alarms! What's this supposed alarm even for? And get to the point this time..! " Rolling his eyes and looking back down at Xavier, Angel huffed "Well I'm sorry that I'm trying to concentrate, to know where I should be heading. Right now, our only goal is to get away from that thing."Before Xavier can ask what "that thing" was supposed to mean, a loud roar could be heard in the distance.
Xavier tried to muster up a response, yet the sight of a large, purely black beast, raising itself to its feet, towering over the buildings themselves, made him lose his voice. Not only did it remind him of when Angel attacked his own city, this creature.. thing .... Or whatever it was, looked so disturbing, so unnatural, it truly shook him to his core. It let out another bloodcurdling screech, smashing one of the nearby buildings with one of its large claws, tearing it apart. Xavier's head was racing, but the only thing that came to his mind was more questions. Where the hell did that thing come from? Was this just another one of Angels people? Or was it something else entirely. Why did it seem as if these people were used to it, did this happen often? Yet in the end, only one question remained
Would they make it out alive?

"You're hungry?" Angel tilted his head, confused. How could he already be hungry so soon. Sure, he was small, but he had eaten a day or two ago. He didn't need to eat so soon, that would be bad. But the growling noises coming from Xavier's stomach didn't just concern him, but also creeped him out. Seeing Xaviers cheeks go red and him covering his stomach with his arms, indicated to him that he didn't seem to enjoy this noise either.
After another deep breath, Xavier nodded, his stomach was causing him serious discomfort now. "Yes, I'm hungry. Starving even! Can't you.. I don't know.. give me a breadcrumb or something?? Ehh..heh- if you want of course" He gave an awkward smile, hoping he didn't anger the giant, seeing how deeply he seemed to be staring into his soul.
"But you just ate.." Xavier flinched at Angels sudden words, but, mostly irritated, answered "No.. I am seriously hungr-" he got cut off."
You just ate."
Angel repeated, furrowing his brows.
"I ate like two days ago!"
Xavier responded annoyed now, with a hint of fear in his voice. He didn't want Angel to break more of his bones or.. do something worse- "So? You still have like.. a week until you're allowed to eat." Allowed!? A week! He couldn't wait a week for a bit of food! So in the most polite way he could muster up, even adding a friendly smile into the mix, he asked "Are.. you not allowing me to eat for a week..to uhm... Torture me or something?" This seemed to surprise Angel "Huh? Did I say that? No. Your body wouldn't allow that! I'm helping you out here with your.. strong urges to eat I guess- I think you should get that checked out by a doctor" he whispered the last part, leaning in close doing so.
Xavier tries to push Angels face away, his hands merely sinking into his soft fur. God damn it. Why does his body also have to be squishier than a damn sponge
"What-.. what the hell is that even supposed to mean! I.. I'm literally trapped here-! Why would my body even need a week to be able to eat again? ....how many times do you think we have to eat in a week-" Angel was slightly surprised at Xavier's more loud exclamation, considering recent events, yet he rolled his eyes and responded in a sarcastic tone "Well surely it's every day almost every hour, with the way you're acting. Oh please.. you'll be fine for another week or so." Xavier looked at him dumbfounded.
Was this guy serious?
"sigh, yes. Yes I do. Normally three meals a day with some snacks on the side.. if I can afford that." He mumbled, he would just be honest, hoping he wouldn't use this info for some personal twisted use. He shivered at the thought of him capturing humans, just to let them starve. As much as he wanted to believe that no one would do that, he trusted this giant to perform such a cruel act. Looking back up, he expected a sadistic smirk, but was instead met with curious eyes, like some child that just found a shiny rock. Great. Now he was downgraded down to a shiny rock.
Angel gently wrapped his hand around Xavier, who was still floating mid air and placed him on his pillow. Patting the humans head, definitely not to play with his hair, he laid down on his stomach. With his hands on his cheeks and his legs propped up, kicking them in the air, he asked "You actually have to eat that much? That sounds.. overwhelming. Sad.. oh you sad, sad creature with your weird anatomy." Xavier shot him an annoyed glare, which he found quite amusing.
A small growl from Xavier made him hug himself again. He whined to himself, quietly, he just wanted a piece of food. Could this giant not ask questions later? With gritted teeth, he spoke "Yeah yeah, I'm pathetic, I think I got that so far. Can you please just get me something to eat." Angel, noticing the impatient tone in Xavier's voice, sighed deeply. If this meant the little dude wouldn't die, then he'd oblige. "Very well, it shouldn't be too hard to get you something to eat. I'll be right back!" With that, Angel quickly got up and ran out of the room, as if to quickly get away from a bomb that was about to explode. A few, agonizing, minutes later, Angel returned to Xavier, who was now curled into a Ball, clutching his stomach tightly. In a soft tone, he said "Dont worry, I got you something to eat.."
Opening his hand, he dropped a pile of large leaves in front of Xavier. At first he thought, maybe these were leaves used for a salad, though upon further inspection, Xavier realised that this was grass. Plain, simple grass. Was this some stupid joke?
Looking up at Angel however, only revealed that not only was he serious, he seemed to desperately want to watch Xavier eat this grass. As if he was some hamster trying to eat, with their owner watching over them, constantly awing at how adorable it was. At least now he wasn't a shiny rock anymore..
"...A- Angel, uhm.. what the hell is this? Do you think we eat grass or something?" With big, awaiting eyes, Angel nodded, pushing the grass blades closer to Xavier. "I tried plucking the best ones for you.. they all look the same to me though, so I'm sorry if this isn't up to your standards." Xavier tried to find a mocking tone in Angels voice, yet only seemed to find genuine care, which he found somewhat unnerving. "Err..it's nice that you're trying to feed me the good type of grass, I guess, but.." he gently pushed the grass away from him, "We humans don't eat.. grass." Angels mouth widened, a small gasp escaping his lips, surprised by this. "You.. don't eat grass? But I thought.. you did. I mean.. some of you had small patches of grass outside of your house... I thought you ate the grass from there."
Xavier shook his head in disbelief, did this guy know nothing about humans? Considering he seemed to only visit his world to torment the people there, that seemed to be true. "Those are gardens.. yes, some plant vegetables or fruits in their gardens, but they don't have them to eat the grass from there." Angel seemed to be genuinely upset by this and took away the grass. He let out a small snarl "I only wanted to help. What do you eat then, human." Xavier responded in a more friendly way, lest he anger the giant.. again. "Well, all sorts of things.. fruits, vegetables, meat and, yes, even things that are cooked, fried or what not." Angel stared at him, as if he had just revealed some dark secret humans had, before bursting out laughing, causing Xavier to flinch and stiffen up.
"You- hah.. you eat meat!? Hahaha! Look at your scrawny form! As if you could hunt animals! That's something I'd love to watch, watching you run around and fail to hunt even the simplest animals! You can barely even catch up to animals like rabbits and you're telling me you eat meat!" Xavier frowned at the mocking comments being made about him, not that they were necessarily wrong, but at least he didn't chase after helpless people that were barely a dusk speck compared to him.
His stomach grumbled again, seemed like he wasn't the only one who was annoyed by Angel. "Can you not give me some of the left over curry? Unless you already ate everything..-" Angel stopped laughing and went back to staring Xavier down. "No, I threw it away after you landed in my food. No offence, but I don't want your dirty germs all over my food."
As if you care about cleanliness.
Xavier thought, side eying Angels dirty room. With a heavy sigh, he looked back up to Angel "Could you.. perhaps cook me something?" Angel looked away, finally averting his gaze "I don't have any food right now.. I mean.. I only buy food when I want to cook something, so currently I have no food available.. ehe-" In a dramatic fashion, Xavier let himself fall on his back. "But.." Angel said slowly, "I could go out and get some food.." Xaviers mood lifted slightly, he could wait a little longer if that meant he would get some dinner soon. "However, you're coming with me. I am not getting food you can't eat in the end. That would just be a waste of product." Well there went his good mood. "Come.. with you? Outside where other giants like you are? ....no thanks. I'd much rather stay here." the giant placed a finger against his chin "You're not wrong.. I don't need them to know you exist, not that they run away screaming or something.." Angel mumbled.
Xavier thought Angel misspoke "Wait what? 'Run away screaming' why? Why would they do that" Angel nervously chuckled and looked away. Tripping over his words, he answered "Ehh.. Ehe, let's just say, they ...well uhm.. f.. fear you guys. Your whole world to be precise. Honestly anything that isn't from their world. We.. err aren't allowed to exit our world either. So it's best if no one finds out about your existence here." Xavier just looked at Angel as if he just told the most obscure and bizarre story ever. "Are you fucking with me right now?" Angel raised an eyebrow and looked him up and down. "No, I think both of our clothes are still on, unless..~ nevermind.." "What..?" Xavier, uncomfortable, scooted away slightly "No, that's not what I meant, weirdo- I meant.. how on earth are your people afraid of us!" Scratching the back of his neck, avoiding eye contact, Angel answered in a whispering tone "Well.. lets just say.. they have a different image when thinking of a human" Xavier's curiousity was peaked. "Different you say? Why, what do they think when thinking of us?"
"Let's not waste any time now! We...heh We don't want ya starving any further haha! Here let me hide your scent for you" He quickly grabbed Xavier and rapidly began licking him from the bottom to the top. Xavier thrashed around, trying to push away the fleshy muscle to no avail. Seemed like the giant was done with the conversation.
With a hefty sigh, Xavier let Angel lick him. If it was to taste him or to actually hide his scent, somehow, he couldn't tell, maybe it was both. After Angel was done, he tried to rub off some of the saliva with his sleeve, whilst kneading his chest fluff, with his other hand, to loosen it slightly. "There.. now you're all ready!" He lowered Xavier into his fur, squishing his fur together to prevent his new passenger from slipping down. Walking towards the door, he opened a small closet, where he grabbed his keys and a jacket he put on. Pushing away some of his stuff that laid around in there, revealed a small hidden drawer in the closet. Quickly he unlocked the drawer with a key and pulled it open. The object inside caused Xavier to flinch.
There, laid a gun with swirled rose-golden and white engravings on it. Whilst Xavier was clutching Angels fur in nervousness, Angel, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind, happily taking it out and viewing it. With a shaky voice, Xavier asked "Why- why are you taking that out. We.. we are just going to run some errands, right??" Angel gave a small nod "Yes, of course. But ya never know what could happen. I'm just making sure we'll stay safe, why, do you not own a gun?" Xavier wondered in what kind of neighborhood Angel lived in, where it was that dangerous, that he had to take a gun with him. Shaking his head, he answered "No. Why would I? I'm not American." Angel looked at him irritated, but didn't answer. He just shrugged and hid the gun in his chest fur, causing shivers to run down Xavier's spine.
Angel hummed as he walked down the streets with his company safely secured In his fur. Even if the human was tiny, the warmth radiating from his body made him shiver ever so slightly. He enjoyed it, he enjoyed every moment being near the human, feeding off of his energy and short temper. It amused him, in a way even made his day. In fact, a part of him enjoyed teasing the tiny more than torturing him physically. Screams were fun, but the ability to control every part of someone, to stop them from speaking further or choosing what they had to eat, simple things like that, made him feel even better. He was in control of Xavier's every action and he knew it. It's not like the human could put up a fight against him. The psychological torment gave him such a thrill. He grinned, his tail swishing around behind him. Looking down, he saw how Xavier looked around frantically, flinching every time a person walked by. How adorable.
Xavier looked around, his heart was in his throat. These creatures seemed to come in all sizes and forms. Some even towered over Angel, whilst in the corners of the streets he could see people his own size, if not slightly taller. They seemed to be waiting for.. something. Squinting his eyes, he tried to see what they could potentially be waiting for. There, a small platform lowered to the ground, with the tiny folks stepping on them, getting lifted into the air. Following their ascent upwards, he noticed long tubes spanning across the houses, with these smaller people running through them. That was definitely one way to get around, whilst also not risking getting stepped on. It didn't seem that any of the giants seemed to mind them though, which surprised him slightly. Though perhaps, if Angel had some kind of powers, so did they. Meaning they weren't as defenceless as he was. Just his luck..
Swallowing hard, he tried to somehow back away from a giant that passed them. Luckily they were too busy talking to someone on the phone, however their loud laughter rumbled through his ears, hurting his sensitive ear drums Glancing up, he saw how Angel seemed to be amused by his suffering. He frowned, averting his gaze quickly. He wouldn't cater to his amusement. With another giant passing them, he groaned, displeased with his current situation. Trying to lower himself into the fur, Angel chuckled slightly, using a finger to press him down. He glared at him, trying to whisper a curse up to him, though was met with a mouthful of fur, which strangely tasted like marshmallows.
Gross.
With a sigh, he spat out the fur and gave the biggest pout he could muster up, making sure Angel knew that this wasn't funny to him. So what if that only made it funnier, the giant already knew he hated this, why hide his emotion. He continued his pout until his mouth ached, making him stop. Though it seemed that not only he stopped, but so did Angel. With a shiver running down his spine, he heard the dreadful words.
"We're here."

Me: I don't really like same size vore
What I actually mean: I dont really like any form of vore between 0-50ft
I know a 50ft person isn't same size, but I still imagine it to be hard to swallow a person whole. I think for me, if the image of a person swallowing another person is somewhat hard, I don't really like it. I can get into it, though I prefer my giants to be very very large. Sorry short giants, but you're not for me 😔💔.
Though that makes me curious, what size is perfect for vore for you

Fangs and Fur: chapter 8
This chapter features (hard) vore, gore and a lot a lot of blood! If you don't enjoy that, please skip this chapter!!
The scream that shattered the silence caused Angel to almost drop the human. Quickly he placed Xavier on his nightstand and picked up the bloody, somewhat twisted, leg. "Its okay lil dude.. I'm.. I'm just gonna re-attach your leg and everything is fine! Just.. shut up..! Otherwise I won't be able to concentrate properly!" However Xavier didn't seem to care for Angels words, merely violently shaking his head and trying to manoeuvre his body backwards without causing himself too much pain. The once clumsily bandaged wound was now gushing with blood again. Angel frowned at the guys movements. Gently, yet firmly, he pinched Xavier's arms against his body, causing him to just try to squirm his way out of Angels grip. Tears streamed down his horrified face, as Angel tried to 'attach' his leg back to his body, by ramming it against the leg against the wound and turning it as if it was a screw. Xavier's response was to try and bite Angels fingers and pushing his other hand away with his working foot.
Angel began to panic as his attempts at reattachment were futile. The human squirming around, trying to free himself, the blood that streamed out of Xavier's upper leg, the kicking, the fact he couldn't re-attach the leg, the smell of fear and his own panic that was rising, made his action more and more violent. He just wanted to help, to fix his mistake, why didn't it work.A few of the bottles on the ground began to float up, rattling as If a visualization of his own panic.
This only made it worse for him and the human, causing him thrash around more. "stop.. stop! Just let me fix you! Why aren't you stopping! Do you want to die!? ... Come.. on.. WORK ALREADY!" As if a wave of energy was dispersed from his body, the bottles, that were floating, shattered with a loud crash, as the shards hit the ground.
Angel flinched in response, his breathing was rapid and hitched. Looking down at the human, he saw its eyes flicker, before shutting down completely and going limp. Quickly, he let go of the human and backed away, stumbling over his own feet and falling to the ground. "no no no.. I didn't mean for that to happen! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
Tears dropped down his own face now, as he grabbed ahold of his ears and began to pull on them. He didn't care about the burning pain of his flesh being torn, he deserved to feel this. He deserved to feel pain.
Closing his eyes, he tried to calm himself down. With a deep breath, he let go of his ears and sat there for a second, remembering he still had to aid the human properly. Opening his eyes, he began to lick his chest fluff, which had previously puffed up from the stress, to smooth out his fur and getting up afterwards. Approaching the human, he saw how he lost more blood.
With a disappointed sigh, he scooped up the human and gently wrapped his mouth around Xavier's leg. Gently he pressed his tongue against the wound, to try to block more blood from leaking out, as he tried getting more bandages for the leg. He felt guilty for enjoying the flavour of the man's blood, his own mouth watering in response. Groaning at his misfortune, he avoided the shards and went to grab some scissors and bandages. Quickly going back to his room, he sat down on his bed and, upsettingly, released Xavier's upper leg from his hungry maw.
Savouring the remaining flavour, he cut the bandages small enough to wrap it around the wound. This time he tried even harder to bandage the wound. After he was done, he smiled happily to himself.
[ At least now the human wouldn't bleed to death, now he just had to wait for a new leg to grow back. ]
Gently, with the tip of his finger, he brushed Xavier's black hair, enjoying the feeling of the soft strands curling around his finger. He purred and nudged Xavier with his nose. Carefully he picked him up and placed him on the middle of his bed. Observing the humans slow breathing for a while, he crawled on to his bed and curled around Xavier, slightly pressing him against his chest and caressing his back. He hadn't even noticed it, but he found himself smiling being so close to the human. Now he wasn't all too alone.. Even if the little guy despised his guts, he couldn't care less. As long as he had the ability to pick him up, toy with him and do whatever else he wanted, he didn't care. This was his prized possession now.
Xavier's eyes opened wide as he stared into the dark abyss laid out before him. Was this death? ... No, something felt too off about this place. He just couldn't place his finger on it. Looking down he also noticed he had both legs.. somehow. Perhaps this was a dream, it just felt too real to be one.
Trying to think about what was going on, he spotted a dark figure in the distance. It seemed to have turned its back to him, as he couldn't make out its face or anything for that matter. Slowly approaching the figure, his surroundings slowly grew colder and colder. Shivering, he had to stop to catch his breath several times. He didn't even understand why his breathing got harder, but he kept walking forward. Seeing that, despite him walking, he barely made any progress reaching the figure before him, he called out "Hey! You! Can you tell me where I am?"
He was only met with silence. His legs were on the verge of collapsing, the sheer cold nagging on his every body part. As he fell to his knees, for the first time, the figure moved, slowly turning to face him. Xavier had to squint his eyes to make out anything, however... He couldn't. It wasn't that there wasn't anything there, it was that his own mind couldn't wrap around what he was seeing. It was something so otherworldly, it made him feel pain and physically ill to continue staring at it. Clenching his stomach, he had to force himself not to throw up. He tried as hard as he could to shut his eyes, to try and forget whatever horrors he had been confronted with. Coldness overtook him as he gasped for air. Slowly he opened his eyes again, hoping whatever that thing was, that it was gone. Instead he noticed how the world around him.. shifted.
The city he once lived in, rising out of the ground. The metal of the buildings glistening in the, strangely, red sky. The streets were clear of any people that would roam around. It all gave off an eerie vibe, yet at the same time everything looked as perfect as his memory allowed it to be. It looked.. too familiar. Slowly he got up, trying to see if there was anyone else to talk to, even if a part of him was afraid they might be whatever that was, earlier. A shiver ran down his spine and for a moment he thought he felt a similar coldness claw against his body. Glancing around, he noticed he was near his old work place. Trying to tread forward, a sudden scream made him pause. Snapping his head around, as if the world shifted again, people stood all around him now, gazing up... Up to him.
His sweet smile hiding his cruel intentions, yet Xavier knew better. Tears slowly built up, as he realised where.. or better when he was. He wanted to run, to scream, to hide and hope for the best, but his stupid body wouldn't let him. Xavier saw the cops trying to make their way to the giant. Angel observed them patiently for them to arrive before him, like some predator waiting for the right moment to attack. As they stood before him, they took out some megaphones to try to talk to him. This merely made Angel smile more at their futile attempts of communication. Slowly crouching down, he picked up the two cops, who were trying to talk to him. Xavier tried to scream to make them get off of his hand, yet it was too late. Tears rolled down his cheek, as he had to witness how the cops were trying to communicate a kind of peace between them and him.
As if we would be a threat to him.
Xavier thought, knowing he wasn't alone with that thought. Angel merely inspected them, sniffing their bodies, nodding to himself, before his grin twisted into a creepy grimace.
Opening his mouth wide, he chomped down on the cops. In a dramatic gulp, he swallowed his first two victims. Tilting his hand, he let the remains fall to the ground. Lifting his massive foot, he stomped on the remains. The tiny amouth of blood splattering against his shoes, as he grinded his foot deep into the ground.
The whispers that echoed through the city stopped. No one was even debating whether this creature was good or not. Before Xavier could process everything, his ears were filled with screams, so without a second thought, he turned around and started running. The memories of his last day in his old life flooded his mind. He just had to survive like he did last time.. People pushed, screamed and cried, he looked back just to see the giant beast scoop up several people and toss them into his mouth like candy. Quickly he looked away as he heard how the beast brutally chomped down, the snapping of their bones was audible, even with all the noise around him. Why was this happening.. why was this happening again?
He kept telling himself that this was just a stupid dream, a nightmare of the past. But the smelly the soundsy the way it all felt too real, made him afraid. His breathing quickened, sweat running down his face as he pushed through the masses, trying to get away from the monster behind him. The smell of fresh blood tickled his nose, making him gag. Bloody squelches could be heard from those being turned into mush, by giant shoes, behind him. The ground trembled beneath him with each step, as now he had to make sure that he wouldn't be knocked to the ground. Seeing how most troubled to keep themselves steady, a part of him felt guilty for not helping.. knowing their fates were sealed already. But he knew those who decided to offer a helping hand would only be overrun by those desperate to flee, blocking the paths for the others, until they were merely a bloody mess beneath even his own soles. He felt horrible, disgusted with himself and everyone around him by how much they only cared about themselves and their own lives... But he couldn't blame them, he couldn't blame himself for wanting to survive. Looking around, he noticed the same alleyway he had hid away in previously.... This all felt too much like the past. He hated that.
As he ran towards the alleyway, pushing people away and almost falling down himself, he made his way to the alleyway. A seed of hope burried itself deep into his chest, seeing that he could make it out alive.. again. Knowing this time he wouldn't go near the furry beasts fur, allowing everything to be reversed and then.. and then..–He tripped.
No.. this couldn't be happening. He was so close. So close to live. To let others live as well...
Hitting the concrete ground, he felt his left knee scrape open with fresh blood trickling down his leg. Clamping his teeth shut he tried to bare the pain. Expecting to be overrun and killed. Yet nothing happened. In fact looking around the only thing he could see was that damn alleyway. The streets were empty again.. not even the giant was there, only the bloody remains of the people around him were splattered around. He grimaced at the sight, yet a small wave of relief washed over him as well. Stemming himself up, he stood on shaking legs, but as he stepped forward, he heard a loud snap.
Pain coursed through his left leg as inhuman amounts of blood began gushing out of the wound. A loud, hitched yelp was the only thing he could muster up. His blood splashed to the ground, creating a huge puddle of crimson liquid around him. Acting fast, he tried to run, even with his never-ending leaking leg. With each step the pain increased, the only thing he could hear was his own heartbeat hammering in his ears and the splashing of his own blood. Trying to take another step caused him to slip and fall back down again. Waves of blood now splashing against neighbouring buildings, seeing that, he screamed in pain and horror. Natiously and partially afraid of what sight was to behold, he looked back down to his left leg. The sight was disgusting and brutal, his own blood caused the flesh, holding his upper and lower leg, to be torn and slowly ripped off. In a last ditch effort to save his leg, he desperately tried to hold onto his leg as a fountain of blood pushed against it. Blood splattered all over his arms and body as he dug his nails deeply into his skin, though it wasn't enough. With one last painful surge, the last tendon of his leg snapped with the blood quickly washing it away.
”No.. No! Fuck... What the hell is going on!“ Panicking, he tried to turn around and crawl to the alleyway, as more blood began to swirl around him, making it hard not to be washed away. At this point, the streets were so full of his own blood, he could've just swam through it, but he couldn't. It wasn't just too thick for that, but the lack of his left leg, made it hard to keep himself above the fluid.
His head bobbed underwater several times as he continued to gasp for air every time he managed to reach the surface. His energy began to leave his body, with each thrashing or flailing around in the liquid and with one last breath of air, a huge wave of blood crashed down on him, making him sink. Giving in, he closed his eyes, hoping to wake up any moment from this horrifying nightmare....yet the only thing he felt was the warm blood surrounding him. Though.. something changed. Slowly, his surroundings got hotter... More.. spicy too.
With an unamused idea, he opened his mouth ever so slightly, taking in whatever he was now surrounded by, tasting it.
This wasn't blood.No.. it was curryHe opened his eyes wide, seeing how instead of the reeking smell of fresh blood, he was now surrounded by spicy hot curry. Without being able to process what happened properly, something scooped him up and dropped him down on a large plate. Shaking his head to try and get some of the curry off, he gazed up to Angels face. Drool dripped out of his smiling mouth, as he licked his lips hungrily. His eyes were gleaming with a glowing red tint. A shiver went down his spine observing that. He wanted to get up and flee, yet his missing leg wouldn't allow that. The only thing he could do was scooting away from hungry beast in front of him.
”Tɾყιɳɠ ƚσ ɾυɳ? Hαԋαԋα... Yσυ ραƚԋҽƚιƈ ɱσɾʂҽʅ. Yσυ ɯιʅʅ ɳҽʋҽɾ ҽʂƈαρҽ ɱҽ! Yσυ ɯιʅʅ ϝσɾҽʋҽɾ Ⴆҽƈσɱҽ α ραɾƚ σϝ ɱҽ. Aƚ ʅҽαʂƚ I'ɱ ɱαƙιɳɠ ყσυ Ⴆҽ ɯσɾƚԋ ʂσɱҽƚԋιɳɠ ϝσɾ σɳƈҽ, αʂ ɱყ ԃιɳɳҽɾ..“ His voice was cryptic, as if two people spoke over each other, which only made his situation more horrifying.. Angel smile contoured into an unnaturally stretched grin.
He picked up his fork and without another word penetrated Xavier's back with it, making him scream in pain, as he got lifted up. He tried to flail around and get the fork out of his back, yet that only made the pain worse. The only thing he could do was watch as the giants lips came closer, parting open to reveal rows of teeth, ready to chomp down on him.
Angels tongue slithered out of his mouth and began tasting Xavier's body, licking off the curry. He hummed in delight as he gently began to nag on Xaviers arm, who tried to punch Angels tongue and Lips, to no avail of course. Angel merely enjoyed Xavier's struggles more, as his bites began to be more rough, making Xavier thrash around more. After each part of his body was fully covered in saliva, Angel began to insert Xavier's lower body into his maw. With one leg, he tried to push away his mouth, yet Angels tongue wrapped around his leg, pulling him into his mouth more. As Xavier's body was halfway in his mouth, Angel pressed his teeth down on his stomach. Xavier could barely even move, the fork and teeth held him in place, the only thing he managed to do was bang his hands against the monsters teeth, which only resulted in his own hands getting wounded. Tears streamed down his face, sobbing at his current situation. ”Please.. stop! Stop.. come on! Let me go already!“ he sniffled.
Though, surprisingly, the weight on his stomach got lifted. Angel opened his mouth back up, giving Xavier hoped that this was just another, cruel, game of Angels. His heartbeat slowed, as he closed his eyes, sighing in relief and relaxing his body.
Opening his eyes back up, he wondered when Angel would release him, as, without a warning, Angel clamped down on his teeth, splitting Xavier's body in two. The last thing Xavier could muster up, was an ear shattering scream as he went limp, slowly losing contiousness.
Slowly Angel pulled his fork, with Xavier's upper body, away from his mouth. Strands of blood and flesh stretched out from his teeth, with Xavier's faltering vision letting him see his detached lower body for one last time, as Angel tilted his head and swallowed. The only thing Xavier felt now was emptiness and the wet tears that rolled down his cheeks, as Angel shoved the rest of his body inside his mouth. With that the world went dark for him..
”̴̱̉̄̈́́́̈W̶̜̰̙̹̰̭͑͂͋̃̏̽̑̚Á̴̙͋K̵͇͙̣͐̃͊͂̎͒Ê̵͖̹̣̖͉͐̏̿͂̅̕͜͜͠ ̶̺̗̦̞̩̋͗͗͂U̵͇̞͈͖͍̭̾̇ͅP̵̢͔̮̼̰̟̳̈́̓“̵͉̜̩̤̄
He jolted awake, as a cryptic voice woke him up. He quickly looked around, assuring himself that he wasn't somewhere in Angels stomach. Instead, he was sitting on Angels gigantic bed, with him curled around him like some wannabe snake. Xavier flinched seeing Angels face, reminding him of this.. bizarre nightmare he just had. Placing his hand on his forehead, he tried to comprehend what even happened. It all felt too real to be a normal dream.. yet thinking about it for any longer, made him feel sick to the stomach. His stomach.
He sighed in relief, seeing his lower body in tact. He was so relieved, he literally hugged his right leg and made small happy noises. Whispering to himself he said ”How glad I am to at least be able to have you ...“ A movement from the giant stopped his awkward embrace, his head snapped back up in response. Angels large hand began to slowly reach out to grab him, which made him scoot backwards. At first Xavier thought Angel was awake, yet looking at Angels face showed that he was still asleep... Somehow. As his eyes darted back to the giant hand, he continued to scoot backwards, as fast as he could. He didn't realise that the edge of the bed was mere inches away, until it was too late.
A loud yelp woke Angel up, as he felt something being off. Not being able to see Xavier, he focused on an image of Xavier in his head, making him float up. Xavier who thought that his death was going to be a simple amount of gravity and fall damage, suddenly felt himself be lifted up. Looking at himself, he saw how his body had a slightly red tinted glow. Was he.. levitating? He didn't have to to wonder for long as he was met with Angels worried face. ”Oh you silly little guy! You had me worried... You know that that would kill ya! You didn't try to end your life.. right? Sigh.. did you forget I had powers? I wouldn't let ya die so easily. . !“ Xavier didn't respond, merely looking away. After this horrifying nightmare he had just experienced, he couldn't face Angel. His emotions were high once more, as he fought the urge to cry and let it all out.
[ No. He had to stay strong. He would cry in front of him. ]
He took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to look back at Angel. To his surprise, Angel wasn't looking into his eyes, rather down to his stomach, partially curious and partially worried. Xavier, irritated by this, glanced down to his own stomach, as he heard it growl. Only now he realised just how hungry he was. His stomach was practically begging, screaming for food. He felt embarrassed, his cheeks flushing red in resoinse. Swallowing, knowing he'd have to ask this giant for basic necessities, he asked timidly
”Uhm.. I'm.. starving.. Could- could I.. I  maybe have something to eat..?“
