after some long and arduous battles, this poll has finally come to a close! and after defeating his beloved hokuto-senpai in the bonus match, tomoya's Phantom Thieves VS Detectives CG has decidedly secured the position of Funniest Unbloomed Enstars Card!

i know the shinsekai in retaliation context: valk are trapped in virtual reality and they need to complete quests to win. Shu gives mika money to buy a weapon (mika choose the chainsaw, shu hates it) to complete challenges. Well as they're about to leave npc pushes shu into a fountain to do a woodcutter's axe bit (Aesop fable's honest woodcutter) with mika. "is this the shu you lost? or is it this shu?" One shu acts like rinne and the other shu acts like eichi. He refuses to call either of them Shu even tho the npc tells him he just has to choose one of them to leave the game. The eichi-shu makes mika so furious that he murders them both with his chainsaw instead of completing the quest. And then he gets sick because he was in vr too long to kill people <3

after an arduous battle against ritsu's beam machine gun and a few close calls throughout the bracket, corpse tomoya has managed to pull through until the end!

part of the fun of this tournament was seeing the "context" the submitters provided for these cards, which sometimes was the actual context and other times was a joke about the card. the actual context for this cg is in the story Phantom Thieves VS Detectives, (which i greatly recommend) in case anyone wants to know how tomoya died

however, this isn't quite over yet, because we've just held a loser's bracket too! tune in tomorrow to see tomoya fight against his beloved hokuto-senpai in one final showdown:

Ensemble Stars Music Showdown Time!!!

I decided I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and run a tournament myself and thought one on everyone’s favorite enstars songs would be fun!

Submissions are open for any Ensemble Stars song (even stageplay exclusive songs if you want to submit one of those) and you can submit as many as you want, just don’t spam submit one song over and over to try to get it more votes or anything like that.
