a year ago today things were so different.

i thought about you and started to cry because i felt like ive forgotten about you. which isnt bad because i have a new relationship and i should let you go so my new relationship can grow. I just cant help but feel like a liar. i told you no matter what i wanted to be a part of your life and that we were gonna be friends forever. But here i am i havent seen you in months. We dont talk at all. Im just living my life completely separate from you and i dont even think about you often at all. i dont know if thats good or bad, but it is sad.

i guess its sad because it feels like i thought our relationship was something i could never just get over. that it was so impactful that i would never forget it. but i think i convinced myself that you were a bad boyfriend. That we were actually miserable together. and if you think about sometimes we were. sometimes i dont know what to think of it.

maybe youre extremely better off, maybe youre indifferent.
