Oh boy, here we are! Another ep of Ep By Ep where we watch and chat about Step By Step. Fair warning, although this ep rules, there are some audio issues. Basically, there's a little buzz. Is it unlistenable? No. Does it bug the rat p**p outta me? Yes. I'm a perfectionist, you see. My podcasts NEED to be impeccable and when they're not, daddy's not happy. Ya gotta please daddy. Who's daddy? lol are you really asking that?? Oh, you think I'm "daddy?" I'm not. There's a man that is involved in the production of this podcast who goes by the name "daddy" and he gets PISSED when things aren't perfect. I'm hoping he doesn't come down on me for the lil buzz issue. Cuz when daddy comes down, he comes down hard. Anyways, I feel we've lost our way...this episode rules and my guest Sachi Ezura is hilarious and a great friend.

Ok, ok, ok, I know what you're thinking. "Are you going to really watch every episode of the hit 90's sitcom Step By Step?" Yes, yes I am. Not only that but I'm going to make one of my friends watch it with me so we can talk about on this very podcast. Why tho? IDK, just am I guess? This week my guest is the very funny Zach Sims. Zach and I break down the 5th ever episode of Step by Step called "Frank & Son." Zach's a great pal for giving up his precious time to take a sloppy stroll down nostalgia lane. I thank him AND YOU for helping me follow my dreams of bringing the cast of Step By Step back from the dead. Wait, I'm being told that the entire cast has not passed on. Oh, wow, okay, totally thought that's why I was doing this podcast. Oh well, guess I'll keep doing it anyway.

Hello again, situational comedy fans! It is I, the guy who has decided to watch every episode of Step By Step! This here ep is season 1 episode 4 entitled, "First Anniversary" but TBH it shoulda been called "First Cody" cuz guess what? It's the first Cody ep! And thank GAWWWD Cody has finally debuted because the show def needed MORE characters (/s). Julia Johns is the friend, comedian, artist who FOR SOME REASON agreed to watch this ep and then subsequently podcast with me about it. She was great and so are you. Is the show great? I don't know yet. I assume at some point in the run of this podcast the answer will become more clear. Or maybe not. Who cares? Kk LYLAS.

Ok, I think we all can admit that the name of this podcast is great. So great in fact that when I came up with the name it forced me to start this podcast. This is the 3rd episode of Ep By Ep and We're talking about the 3rd episode of Step By Step. the episode is titled, "Rules of the House" and you can probably guess what the plot is. Helping me access the ep is **comedian**pal**good mans**, Robert Dean (The Robert Dean Museum, Amazon Prime's Inside Jokes). There's not much else I can say here except that this is definitely a podcast for some reason...probs cuz the name is very dope.

It's back? It's back! That's right, I didn't quit after the pilot ep! So I guess I'm really doing this! And thank god I am because it turns out the second ever episode of Step By Step is ICONIC! Miller/Boyett pulled out the  big Urkelly guns for "The Dance." Breaking down this ep with me is comedian and podcaster, Chris Laker. For some reason Chris agreed to watch an episode of Step By Step and chat with me about it over the phone and I'm very thankful.

Hi. My name is Nick Maritato and I've decided to watch every episode of Step By Step in order for some reason. Not only that, but I've forced some of my good friends to watch episodes and then talk to me about them on this podcast. You might be asking, "Why are you doing this?" Tbh, I think it's because I thought of the name (Ep By Ep) and then recorded the theme song (at the beginning of every podcast)and then I was like, "Welp, guess I gotta do this podcast now." So, yeah, I guess you could say we're searching for something here, I just don't know what it is yet. We might be searching for the answer to the question, "Is Step By Step a good show?" or "Do I like Step By Step?" Regardless, this is now a podcast. We do know that.This is the first ever episode of Ep By Ep and we're talking about the first ever episode of Step By Step. Listen to comedian, actor and all around great dude, Steve O'Brien and I go through the origin story of the Lamberts and the Fosters scene by scene.
