Flower Shop Boy

pairing: jeongin x reader genre: fluff // drabble word count: 450 Lin's note: this is my very first fanfic but I hope you enjoyed it! I rlly enjoy writing fluffy drabbles, I just find them cute lol

The door chimed, announcing the presence of a customer to the cozy flower shop, a gush of wind following you as you entered.

The warmth and comfort of Fall always brought you joy, despite it being chilly. You missed your home town, where you grew up in and it was hard to get used to a city full of bustling people - Busan.

You had stumbled across the florist shop while you grabbed your much needed dose of hot coffee and your eyes laid upon the colorful bouquets. Maybe some flowers would help you settle in to your new apartment!

As you entered, wondering in awe at the blooming blossoms and arrangements, you bumped into a boy, holding a small vase. Since the compact was quite harsh between the two of you, the vase fell and smashed into pieces onto the floor.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry! I'll help you clean up!" You apologised hopelessly, crouching down to the anonymous boy with fox-like eyes who had already begun cleaning the mess.

"Oh really, it's fine." The boy tugged his apron and looked up, bumping into your head again.

You fell on to your bottom with a thud, wincing on the tile floor.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" The boy carefully helped you get up from the floor.

"I- I'm fine, thanks." You said, cheeks suddenly warming. Both of your eyes locked as he helped you get up, enveloping around your waist with his strong arms as your faces were nearly touching. His warm breath fanned against your skin, prickling your hair. A blush formed on your already red cheeks as you let go from the boy's grasp. Both of you wandered your eyes around shyly.

"Oh, hello there, dear!" A middle aged woman appeared from behind the counter. "I have never seen you around here! Are you new to the city?"

"Oh yes, I am. I just moved here last week."

"Well, I hope you're getting used to it here. I'm sure you've had a little encounter with Jeongin already!" She said, winking.

The boy who you assumed Jeongin, giggled. "Mom! It was just an accident!"

𝘊𝘶𝘵𝘦. You thought. Wait. Did you just call the boy you just met cute?

Well, you couldn't deny it. Jeongin was adorable, even though you had just met him. His tiny fox eyes that wrinkled each time he laughed and his fluffy hair were clearly noticeable.

It wasn't just you who secretly admired the other. Jeongin also found you adorable. You just looked so tiny in your coat he just wanted to hug you right then and there.

So, it looks like you've fallen for the flower shop boy of Busan.

- Im a stay (been stanning stray kids for around a year now)

- Im a high school student

- I live in Australia

- I also stan ITZY, Day6, Twice, StayC, TXT and Loona (but I'm not planning to write for them)

- I enjoy playing the piano, art and of course, writing!

- My bias in Stray Kids is Seungmin and my bias wreckers are Minho and Jeongin
