i think soren was one of those transmasc nonbinary ppl (aka me) whos like .... as a little egg kid they were VERY ADAMANT ABOUT NEVER PRESENTING IN ANY WAY FEMININE they werent like the other girls they cut their hair SHORT and shit they were very passionate about that . and then when he came out he became WAYYYY more feminine and will wear dresses sometimes and usually wears his hair long and in a ponytail (:

i STRONGLY think him and fennel transitioned at the same time and helped each other with working out their own gender (: they helped each other come up with the names soren and fennel they tried out pronouns on each other all of that <33

at first i was like "what if i gave all the miscoloured puppets their own personalities and create an au for them to have their own story" as a joke

but man... i dont think its a joke anymore

ok hear me out

the idea was that the YT dhmis and TV dhmis were two seperate universes, in YT the house is controlled by roy and in TV by lesley. at the end of YT series the main students and the miscoloured students swap places.

so during the whole TV series the miscoloured puppets were going through the same things except the teachers were much more wicked (bc roy is arguably a lot more diabolical than lesley)

maybe a dumb setup, but it gives the miscoloured puppets a reason to exsist and something to do
