the theme of identity and representation, in this photo she challenges the traditional ideas of beauty and femineity by embodying Monre Sherman prompting viewers to consider the authenticity of the portrayal of women in society.

Edited photo:

i changed the background to shattered glass because when displaying and representing the celebrity Marlyn Monre I deem it crucial to add an element of how drained and 'broken' she was from society's expectations and her life. It also adds depth to the photo also representating the chaos in her life,

also, the broken glass foreshadows what eventually happens from her emotional break, it evokes a sense of danger and vulnerability highlighting the danger of societal expectations imposed on women.

PROCESS

STEP1: I chose the picture i wanted to use

STEP2: I chose my second picture, what i wanted to add to the original picture.

STEP 3: i cut out Cindy Sherman from the original background

STEP 4; I zoomed in on the glass photo and dimmed the color a little

STEP 4: i added the cut out picture to the glass shattered picture
