Imagine if Burn had taken the body of the dead SkyWing dragonet and preserved it in her tower. Imagine Sunny seeing it- and realizing, that was going to be her sister.

Imagine her, for the rest of her book, wondering what things would've been like if her sister had survived- wishing desperately that there had been a way that both that dragonet and Glory could've been one of them. Wondering if there was any timeline in which Glory had been added alongside the SkyWing instead of replacing her.

Maybe after Thorn becomes queen, the DoD give their dead sister a name, a proper burial, and officially decide she's an honorary Dragonet of Destiny. Imagine Glory going to the grave one night and telling her sister about their journey and how they stopped the war. Maybe she apologizes to her for taking her spot.

Au where everything is the same, only Sunny looks like a black sandwing, she is also the largest of the dod, even larger than Clay, and she has a poisonous spike on her tail, so she is not ignored. I think that in this case they will call her Moony

ok im gonna preface this by saying that im an avid graphic novel defender. i think the more cartoony art style is fitting for the series and ive loved watched the art style grow and develop as each book comes out.

however. will somebody please tell me why glorys head has been getting more and more squished over time 😭
