I made a couple african wild dogs (I have more in the works but their legs are fragile and they're just a couple centimeters too big for me to feel confident transporting them to the kiln the usual way so they're not fired yet).

They were not fired at the same time and the sitting one's black (and red) is sensibly darker than the laying one's (most visible on the second pic), which means he was fired hotter. On the one hand, I'd rather have them all the same colors. On the other hand, it won't matter as much once I have half a dozen, probably, and also hello custom temperature cone.
