@sewichii hell yeah, the BTS (Bangkok Mass Transit System) is one of the sponsors for gelboys based on this from the trailer. given the number of scenes shot in the bts shown in the trailer, i'd say they are getting their money's worth too. i'm excited i'm excited did i mention i was excited?

Every Boss show dares to ask the question what if you were 17, gay, and also a major fucking loser. Deeply inspired work.

For those of you curious on how the sex went down between the two leads in the When It Rains, It Pours novel, someone on Reddit was kind enough to summarize it over two posts and comments with some translations included.
Part 1 (split over two comments)
Part 2
Make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy.
#when it rains it pours#futtara doshaburi#thanks god for that#after episode 2 I rummage thze internet to find the book/ or a translation and couldn't even find a korean translatiob

Deeply amused and fascinated by the idea of being able to judge how much sex someone is having by looking at him in a work setting. Not sure it works that way. Not wrong but that doesn't make it right.

I feel compelled to point out that “your eyelashes are so long they must look beautiful when curled” is an insane conversation opener even for a makeup tool salesman

I really like what they're doing with Fujisawa. Often times exes (or soon to be former partners) are often characters as bad people or at the very least have *something* wrong.
However Fujisawa is actually being described as quite a caring person that is true to his word. He's been there for Sei and has been shown several times to support him and tell him that he's fine as he is. Here we see that Fujisawa was also very clear in what he could offer to Sei: companionship. If the theories of him being aroace (which would fit very well) are true, you could say their relationship falls into the queer platonic kind. Not really dating, but that conversation leads you to believe they're more than friends.
This is also not seen as a bad thing. I don't think the show is saying that Fujisawa is bad for not wanting sex. Not at all. Through that flashback it's basically saying that it's not Sei, he's simply not interested *at all*. Outside of intimacy he really does care about Sei a lot. Sei was clearly really in need of comfort and needed someone to be there. He probably agreed bc it was better than nothing. Sei also isn't wrong to want sex. Wrong to continue asking that of Fujisawa when he said Sei couldn't expect that of him, but the desire itself isn't wrong. I would imagine that's a very frustrating and lonely relationship to be in.
While I'm not sure the show will explicitly say anything about Fujisawa's sexuality beyond what they already have, I do hope they continue portray him in this way. I also hope that the two of them remain friends after they split. I feel like it'd be a shame otherwise. Considering that they do care about each other.

i feel insane even saying it but there was something so deeply hannigram about the frontman and gi-hun in squid game 2.
something something a cold blooded experienced killer who’s able to indulge his darker instincts from a position of power and privilege finds obsessive interest in someone he views as similar to him, only unwilling to submit to those base instincts because of his need to help other people. under the guise of being his close confidant, he slowly wears him down and takes him apart in a cat and mouse game he ends up far too involved in, manipulating his circumstances until the perfect second to reveal his own betrayal of the same creature he found so interesting.
i mean, the frontman looked almost satisfied when gi-hun suggested sacrificing people for the “greater good” after being so unwilling to cause harm, something that himself in episode 1 would have been horrified at. and that came so soon after the scene of in-ho himself, killing a man out of necessity so he and others could live just as gi was suggesting doing.
all they need is a homoerotic stabbing scene in s3 and they’re set.

I'm like super normal and not unhinged in the slightest (I spent 3 days formatting, printing, and binding a niche internet story about sci fi football into a 280 page physical book)
