Of course most of us would like to read more of your story because it is already so good and captivating.

But lets be honest, we are incredibly priveleged to read your story (for free I might add) and its not like this is your job. I really dont want this story to become something you are stressed about and causes you to develop bad feelings towards it.

I hope you get the rest you need and take care of yourself.

If thats means one chapter per year or longer, well, than thats what it means. And i am content to wait for it.

And truly, I am deeply saddened by the fact I can't write 24/7. I have so many ideas (not even just for Esper) that I desperately want to get out there. I just don't have the capacity to do that right now.

I want to give Esper my all. And I am so excited for the not SOOO distant future when I can finally focus almost entirely on it (and other projects....)

I'm looking at potentially taking a bit of a load off of my currently overflowing plate so that may free up SOME time, though I make no promises. Next year should be a much more productive one though, and that I can almost be certain of!

Hey! Unfortunately no, there's no date. And to be completely transparent it probably won't be for a while. Life is not being very kind to me so progress on Esper is virtually nonexistent. I'll continue to chip away at it when I get the chance but I'm not able to dedicate enough time to it at the moment.

I know this isn't what you guys wanna hear and I am really sorry but as much as I'd love to have writing be my number one priority it just isn't </3

Thank you so much! I was able to identify and fix the issue. I'll probably leave the current version as is for now and wait for the next update to upload the changes as it's a minor problem, but rest assured it has been dealt with.

Thanks for letting me know about this bug! However, I haven't been able to recreate it. I tried my version, as well as the uploaded version on both my laptop and phone and it seems to be working fine. So I'm not really sure what's up. Maybe it's something to do with your save files?

If anyone else is experiencing this please let me know and I'll give it another look!

So, while this is an interactive fiction, there are (at this point) two more games to follow this one. Therefore, a certain amount of linearity for the overarching story is necessary. Each game's story is unfortunately based upon being a part of the Organisation. So no running from them just yet.

BUT there will be plenty of opportunities to establish your MC's thoughts and feelings, plans... perhaps even chances to undermine the Organisation subtly.

TL;DR: yes, but not so much until later.

Are the pronouns errors being fixed? Because I noticed a lot of pronouns errors during my playthrough (not MC's pronouns but me, I, you pronouns of the narration)

I just uploaded an update fixing what I could find, sorry but I've been quite busy lately.

Also, if you're going to let me know about errors or mistakes please try to let me know where they are as it can be hard for me to actually find them otherwise.

I really enjoyed the update! I'm so glad that this IF wasn't abandoned, I remember Esper being one of the first IFs I read on itchio. I hope you're doing well and taking it easy, can't wait to see what you have next for the story.

Side note, I noticed some grammatical errors in the flashback when you're talking with your mother and learning about your abilities, some sentences use "you" instead of I or us. For example, the MC says "So you're saying you can read minds?" instead of "So you're saying I can read minds?" I hope I wasn't out of line for mentioning that 😅 Just thought you should know.

I'm honestly torn between wanting to punt Veran into the next room and just wanting to pinch his cheeks hard bc of a mix of cuteness aggression and just straight-up aggression. Especially when he first enthralled(?) The mc to capture them. Like, the first thought that went into my mind was: "ooooh this BITCH."

Aw, thanks so much for checking in!!! Yeah, I haven't gotten any asks lol! So I've just been lurking lately. I should have some news and an update soon tho!

As for how I am, it's a bit all over the place. I've been doing alright overall lately. However, being chronically ill makes that a bit more difficult! And I've got a very busy year ahead of me that will certainly exacerbate my physical and mental health difficulties!! But I'm going to prioritise balancing the different areas of my life as best I can!
