Day 4/92 || ??? lbs
Ah morning weigh in was way more than I weighed last night. I know I ate a lot of calories but the amount of food wasn't a lot so I didn't expect an immediate change on the scale by so much. That said it was salty, maybe I'm retaining water and it will drop a lot more. I will update the weight in my topic for a final weigh in before I leave for Ikea later. I managed to fast short of 20 hours yesterday so I'm getting back into the whole IF thing. I think I did something like 17 hours the day before, so an improvement. I will be breaking my fast with an almond milk latte around 4 pm today though so my fasting time will be a lot shorter today and that's okay. I still won't have much to eat until later. I'm also going to head out for my walk soon, burn some fat stores. I got some ketone strips, and while I don't eat keto, ketones were showing up in a couple of tests I had to do when I got a UTI twice last month (rip I haven't had one in a decade wtf! I blame the bath bomb I used) and it was while I was fasting. Now I'm curious so I got some strips to try at home. Not sure how accurate they will be compared to an actual lab test but they were inexpensive so I'm giving it a go.
Also, can I say, writing down lbs lost and then lbs to go every night and watching the lbs to go amount shrinking is really motivating me. Like seeing 17 lbs to go turn into 14.6 lbs to go makes me feel like I can really make a difference and not that slowly either. I actually recently did this with my income: made an income goal and kept track of my different streams of income and how much to go everyday and I surpassed my goal. This works so well for me and the most important part of reaching your goals is your mental state. Be it money, weight, or anything at all. So important.

I mean, think about it; if you stick to your plan and workout regularly, you will reach your goal.
