hot take about the fail-safe on bucky’s arm:

it’s not as fucked up as people think it is. i think people saw that scene and immediately took it as “the wakandans don’t trust bucky even though he trusted them! that’s so mean of them to do!”

but we have to remember that wakanda gave bucky a vibranium arm built with their technology and are letting him walk around with it, and even though t’challa started sharing their technology with the world, wakanda is probably still deeply apprehensive about that. the fail safe isn’t about them not trusting bucky, but more about wanting to protect their technology.

in my opinion, them giving bucky the arm in the first place is a huge sign of trust and they would’ve put a fail safe on ANY tech they gave out regardless of who they gave it to.

there’s one author i like that writes bob with a stutter bc excessive drug use at a young age causes brain damage which can cause a stutter. that’s definitely a headcanon but i like it because it bases the stutter in something that makes sense and not “well bob is shy :((“

For a majority of people, stuttering does not occur when normally talking, like in casual conversation. Stuttering occurs during big emotions, like being excited or fearful. Stuttering is not “t-t-talking like t-t-this”, stuttering is more of like repeating words. For example, “I saw a dog today and-and it was wearing a hat!!” Unless this person had a speech impediment, no one is going to excessively stutter every other word while they’re speaking
