The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Khaos (Χαεος meaning "Gap" or "Chasm") was the first of the primeval gods to emerge at the creation of the universe in Greek Mythology. Personified as a female, she was the primal feature of the universe, a shadowy realm of mass and energy (mostly negative and dark) within the world that would stem forth in later genealogies. In the beginning, Khaos was all that there was, the dark majesty and mystery of creation incarnate. It was from her that the first three primordial gods sprang forth: Gaia (goddess of earth), Tartarus (the Underworld) and Eros (god of love), the fairest among the deathless gods. Gaia would go on to become the mother of everything beautiful within the world; Khaos however would not be as fortunate. Out of herself, she would give birth to two more children: Erebus (god of darkness) and Nyx (goddess of the night). Their sexual union produced the luminous offspring, Aether (god of the divine air) and Hemera (goddess of the day). However it would her daughter Nyx that would bring fear to the almighty god, Zeus (king of the gods).

The Evermore Grimoire: Magic Powers
The Mystic Arts is the practice of harnessing various forms of energy to manipulate one or more aspects of the infinite realities that are present within the Multiverse. It encompasses many different activities, including astral projection, divination, teleportation, spell-casting as well including the practices of many cultures and religions. This can also include ornate books and writings from ancient times. For example Masters of the Mystic Arts use Eldritch Magic which is a light-based magic that produces sparks and fiery energy drawn from alternate dimensions and supernatural beings as their power source. Being highly versatile, it can be shaped into different forms, from tangible energy constructs such as shields and weapons to specific formations such as symbols and geometric patterns that are often used to produce various effects known to sorcerers as spells. While many of these intricate symbols commonly appear as disks projected in front of the caster's hands, others can appear as rings or bands that surround the caster's arms. Similarly, certain spells can manifest as an aura of arcane energy that emanates from the hands and forearms of the caster.

The Evermore Grimoire: Witches
William "Billy" Kaplan is a powerful witch and the son of the Scarlet Witch and Vision whose soul inhabited the body of the recently deceased William Kaplan. Originally he was called Billy Maximoff and was magically created by Wanda alongside his twin brother Tommy within her hex that engulfed the town of Westview. The twins rapidly grew within days to fit the stresses of their unusual surroundings as well discover the fact they had powers. Billy inherited magical powers similar to his mother and proved to a formal foe against the government agency S.W.O.R.D. Following the battle, Wanda dispelled the Hex; however, Billy's soul jumped into the recently deceased body of a teenage boy called William Kaplan. Upon awakening from the collapse of the Hex and the car crash that had killed William, Billy instinctively called out for Tommy. Despite suffering from amnesia and realising he could read people's minds (telepathy), he decided to live as William Kaplan alongside his loving parents Rebecca and Jeff Kaplan. In that time he began studying witchcraft in order to seek out Tommy which led him to discover the "Witch's Road" as well as Agatha Harkness who was still under a spell cast by the Scarlet Witch. Unbeknownst to Billy, this would also be the start of his journey into eventually becoming the hero known as Wiccan.

The Evermore Grimoire: Witches
Agatha Harkness is a witch who was once accused of practicing dark magic by her own coven. During the height of the Salem Witch Trials in 1693, she was captured and dragged through the woods and bound to a wooden post for a trial. After Agatha reaffirmed that she was indeed a witch, her mother, Evanora Harkness, stated that she had betrayed her coven, stolen knowledge above her place, and practiced the darkest of magic, which she denied. The coven tried to kill Agatha as she pleaded to her mother, until her powers took over and reversed the magic used against her by the coven, killing them instantly. She then broke free and killed Evanora before taking the brooch off her mother's corpse and flying away. Agatha also took possession of the Darkhold and used it to amplify her magical powers. Eventually it corrupted her mind and turned her fingertips black. Over three hundred years later, she sensed the presence of chaos magic radiating from the Westview Anomaly created by Wanda Maximoff. Unfazed by her thrall over the population of Westview, Agatha became obsessed with harnessing Wanda's magic. Living under the pretence of the WandaVision sitcom, she stole Ralph Bohner's house and undertook the guise of Agnes, Wanda's "nosy neighbour," all the while interfering with Wanda's idyllic paradise to her own benefit. After discovering that Wanda was the Scarlet Witch, Agatha was defeated and stripped of her magic and indefinitely condemned to live out her life as Agnes in Westview... for now.

The Evermore Grimoire: Dragons
Seasmoke was a pale silver-grey dragon ridden at first by Ser Laenor Velaryon and later by the dragonseed, Addam of Hull. He was of fighting size during the "Dance of the Dragons" but still a young dragon and nimbler in the air than his older brothers. He was of comparable size to Tessarion, who was about three times smaller than Vermithor, and not as fearsome a beast as him in comparison. By 101 AC, Seasmoke had been bonded to Laenor Velaryon. Seasmoke was his pride and passion. After Laenor's death in 120 AC, Seasmoke made his lair in the Dragonmont on the island of Dragonstone and remained riderless for almost a decade. During the Dance, Laenor's "son", Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, desired new dragonriders for his faction. He offered knighthood, lands, and riches to whoever could claim the riderless dragons. Most of the attempts to claim a dragon ended in death or heavy burns in an event remember as the Red Sowing. In one of those attempt, Seasmoke killed Ser Steffon Darklyn, one of Rhaenyra Targaryen's Queensguard. Later, Addam of Hull was able to claim and ride Seasmoke.

The Evermore Grimoire: Psychic Powers
Zoolingualism is the power to talk to animal life forms and understand their reactions. Those that wield this power are able to understand the speech or emotions of animal life forms. This power is quite uncommon and multifaceted. Some variations are magic based while others are natural talents or mental powers, similar to Telepathy (but limited to animals). The use of Zoolingualism is sometimes imagined as imitating animal sounds, like the barking of a dog. Zoolinguists are normally shown using their power in their native language, in an animal-language, or even mentally without any spoken words. Some wielders are able to understand animals in every imaginable way, which results in enormous knowledge and foreseeability of their actions.

The Evermore Grimoire: Royalty
Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, known as "the Queen Who Never Was" and dragon rider to dragon was Meleys, "the Red Queen". She was the daughter of Prince Aemon Targaryen and Lady Jocelyn Baratheon and was married to Lord Corlys Velaryon of Driftmark. Rhaenys was born in 74 AC on the seventh day of the seventh moon of the year. As her father was the Prince of Dragonstone, and she was his firstborn child, many considered her as being next in line for the Iron Throne, after her father Aemon. Queen Alysanne Targaryen, when being presented with her granddaughter, called her "our queen to be." When Rhaenys's father Prince Aemon Targaryen died in 92 AC, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen had to formally appoint a new heir to the Iron Throne. The choice was between Rhaenys and Aemon's brother Baelon. King Jaehaerys I Targaryen appointed Baelon as the new Prince of Dragonstone, passing over the pregnant Rhaenys and her unborn child. Rhaenys herself was the first to object to the king's decision, and her husband, Lord Corlys Velaryon, gave up his position as lord admiral as well as his place on the small council. Following that, Rhaenys and her husband returned to Driftmark. When Baelon died in 101 AC, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen called the first Great Council at Harrenhal to decide the matter of succession. Fourteen claims were considered, including the claims of Rhaenys and her children. However favour fell to Baelon's oldest Viserys becoming heir to the Iron Throne and thus the nickname "the Queen Who Never Was" was bestowed on Rhaenys by the court jester Mushroom.

The Evermore Grimoire: Dragons
Meleys called the Red Queen, was a she-dragon ridden by Princess Alyssa Targaryen and later Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. She had scarlet scales and pink membranes on her wings, for which she received her alias, the Red Queen. Her crest, horns, and claws were bright as copper. The dragon was described as "splendid" and "magnificent". In 75 AC, Meleys was considered to be one of the swiftest dragons in Westeros, easily outpacing Caraxes and Vhagar. She resided in the Dragonpit in King's Landing, never ridden before. That year, the newly married Princess Alyssa Targaryen decided to become a dragonrider. She initially wished to claim Balerion, but the dragonkeepers convinced her that he was too old and slow, and that she would prefer a swifter mount. Alyssa claimed Meleys, and afterwards rarely stayed away from the Dragonpit for long. In 87 AC, Meleys was claimed by Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. In 89 AC, Rhaenys flew on her to Highgarden, to accompany King Jaehaerys I Targaryen further on his royal progress to the Shield Islands. When Rhaenys married Lord Corlys Velaryon in 90 AC, she insisted on arriving to the wedding flying on Meleys. Rhaenys rode Meleys during the "Dance of the Dragons", on the side of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and the blacks, versus King Aegon II Targaryen and the greens. In 129 AC, when Rook's Rest was besieged by the greens' army led by Ser Criston Cole, Rhaenys flew Meleys to the castle to lend aid.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Melpomene (Μελπομενη meaning "Celebrate with Song") was one of the nine muses known as the 'Muse of Tragedy' in Greek mythology. She was also known as the goddess of music, song and dance as well as being the daughter of Zeus (king of the gods) and Mnemosyne (goddess of memory). In the Classical era, when the Muses were assigned specific artistic and literary spheres, Melpomene was named muse of tragedy. In this guise she was portrayed holding a tragic mask or sword, and sometimes wearing a wreath of ivy and cothurnus boots. According to some traditions, the Sirens (half bird half women) were born from the union of Melpomene with the river god Achelous.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Urania (Οὐρανία, Ourania; meaning ‘heavenly’ or ‘of heaven’) was one of nine muses known as the ‘Muse of Astronomy’ in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of Zeus (king of the gods) and also a great granddaughter of Uranus (god of the Sky). As such, she was often depicted holding a globe while pointing at it with her rod. She also wore a cloak that had been embroidered with the stars. One myth tells of how the constellations came to be. The gods tasked Urania with decorating the night sky to guide and inspire mortals. Using her globe and rod, she would cast patterns of stars across the heavens. Each telling a story of heroes, creatures, and gods, thus creating the constellations. She was also believed to be able to tell the future or prophesies. She did this by reading the stars as they were arranged in the sky, reading patterns and the shape of things to come. It was believed that Urania, looked upon the early humans struggling to comprehend the vastness of the night sky, so she bestowed upon them the gift of astronomy. She also taught them how to read the stars and predict the seasons, as well as how to navigate the vast oceans.

The Evermore Grimoire: Witches
Technopagan is a modern term for those who wield the power of technopathy. It's also a term that was coined by the older generation of witches who refused to acknowledge any of their own kind out of fear that they would become too powerful and uncontrollable. However over time the term "Technopagan" has slowly changed from being a stigma to one of empowerment and freedom against outdated stereotypes that no longer fit into today's society. Even those who don't wield this unique power may identify as a Technopagan as it could align with their own beliefs surrounding gender and sexuality. This also includes a desire to create safe spaces for young witches and warlocks as well modernise witchcraft as a whole in order to reflect the world of today. One things for sure, they're here to stay because they're the future of the magical community that must be nurtured in order to survive any future battles.

The Evermore Grimoire: Projection Powers
Astral Projection is the power to project the consciousness of oneself or others from the body. Those that wield this power can project or separate their awareness consciousness, presence or spirit, alternatively known as their astral form, from their material bodies, allowing for perception interaction and travel independent of mental or physical limitation. This state is usually achieved through entering a trance via lucid dreaming or deep meditation. Those with more experience may be able to control both their astral and corporeal presences, allowing them to project their astral selves without losing consciousness in their physical forms, with their projection acting as an extension of their physical self. Eventually wielders will be able to separate others from their physical forms to either travel alongside them or to imprison them in an incorporeal state. Telepaths can also achieve astral projection simply by projecting their minds as well as that of others.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Calliope (Καλλιοπη meaning "beautiful-voiced") was one of nine muses known as the ‘Muse of Poetry’ in Greek mythology. She was widely considered the leader of the Muses and was the greatest and wisest of them all. Calliope began as a muse for poetry, which later developed into epic poetry (tales of the legendary adventures of a people, its myth, and heroes). She was often represented in art as a seated or standing figure, holding a writing tablet and a stylus, as if she were getting ready to write the next great epic poem. Calliope was also the mother of Orpheus, the most famed musician in all of Greek mythology. He was said to have received his gift of music from his father, Apollo (god of prophecy). When Orpheus was dismembered by the Bacchantes (women & nymphs who worshipped the god of wine, Dionysus), Calliope recovered his head and enshrined it on the island of Lesbos.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Styx (Στυξ meaning "Hated") was the Titan goddess of the underworld River Styx in Greek mythology. She was the embodiment of hatred and detestation. This made her one of the most feard Titans. During the "Golden Age" of the Titans, Styx was the guardian of the Underworld. Before the war, she was married to her cousin Pallas (god of warcraft), son of Crius (god of heavenly constellations) and Eurybia (goddess of mastery of the sea). However, Pallas was killed during the war. Throughout most of the war, Styx remained neutral, like her parents and siblings, the River gods and Ocean nymphs. During the last battle of the Titan War, she chose to side with Zeus (king of the gods) and the Olympians, giving her four children, Bia (goddess of force), Cratus (god of power), Zelos (god of rivalry) and Nike (goddess of victory) in her service. To honour her, Zeus decreed that the solemn oaths of the gods be sworn by the water of Styx

The Evermore Grimoire: Heroines
Carol Danvers is a former United States Air Force pilot who, upon being exposed to the energy of the Tesseract via the destruction of the Light-Speed Engine, obtained cosmic powers. She gained further powers when she was made into a Kree-human hybrid via a blood transfusion from Yon-Rogg, and had all of her old memories removed, turning her into the Kree's weapon and a member of Starforce. Operating under the name of Vers she was captured by Skrulls during the Kree-Skrull War, resulting in her returning to Earth and beginning to recall her past, with help from Nick Fury and her best friendship Maria Rambeau. Vers subsequently discovered that Yon-Rogg and the Kree Empire had been manipulating her for years, learning from Talos that the Skrulls were merely seeking to find a new home. With this information, Danvers, rejected her Vers persona and unlocked her true powers and defeated the Kree invasion onto Earth that was being led by Ronan the Accuser, before setting off out to the far reaches of the galaxy to finish what her late mentor Mar-Vell had previously started, honouring her by becoming known as Captain Marvel.

The Evermore Grimoire: Heroes
Loki Laufeyson is the god of mischief & stories, a Prince of Asgard and a Variant of himself. After sabotaging the Asgardian throne on a number of occasions Loki found himself serving under Thanos by taking an army of Chitauri to New York City, but his plans were soon thwarted Thor and the Avengers. Before Loki could be taken back to Asgard though, the Avengers from another timeline altered history and caused him to escape using the Tesseract. He was then arrested by the Time Variance Authority and recruited by Mobius M. Mobius to hunt down Sylvie Laufeydottir, another Variant of his. Having learned that the TVA had been built on lies, Loki helped Sylvie track down the Time-Keepers and its founder, He Who Remains. They were warned by He Who Remains that if he was killed, his Variants would conquer the Multiverse. Sylvie still murdered him causing the timeline to branch indefinitely. Loki then found himself in a different TVA, and began Time Slipping between the past, present and future. Returning to the present, Loki met Ouroboros and learned that the Temporal Loom was on the verge of failing. His work to repair the Loom reunited him with Sylvie and encounter Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains. Despite their best efforts, the Loom collapsed and seemingly destroyed the TVA; however, everyone except Loki were in reality returned to their places on the Sacred Timeline. Learning to control his Time Slipping, Loki used his new power to go back to before the Loom was destroyed, trying everything he could to salvage it. Unable to do so, he time slipped back to his original confrontation with He Who Remains, who revealed that the Loom was a failsafe whose purpose was to protect the Sacred Timeline whilst eliminating the excess branches and preventing the Multiversal War. Defiant, Loki chose to destroy the Loom and weave the branches together by hand, sitting on his newly created throne at the End of Time, determined to protect the people of the Multiverse his own way.

The Evermore Grimoire: Magic Powers
Dark Magic is the power to use magic that is malevolent in nature. Those that wield this power can utilise a malevolent system of techniques that is based around the darker side of magic that is typically used for selfish, self-serving and/or nefarious purposes. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic, it tends to focus on destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of others while advancing the wielder's personal state. They often reject social convention and the status quo, which some suggest is in a search for spiritual freedom. As a part of this, they embrace magical techniques and practices that would traditionally be viewed as taboo and are generally willing to go farther than most in order to serve their own selfish needs. However no one is born with dark magic and it can change depending on the wielder's temperament. If they start to use their magic for selfless reasons, it will gradually become more benevolent and pure in nature. This is known as White Magic.
