20|04|2024
I finally worked on a general plan of my study to do list for the next couple of months. As usual creating this kind of overview makes me feel way better because I feel like I have a clear idea of what I have to do. I spent the rest of the day reading and then out with my mom exploring old royal residences and birdwatching in a field.

[25.02.2024] Last week was very productive. ✨
Also it was a week of hot days 🥵 (miss winter days)

3/30 New Year's Momentum Challenge
"What does your ideal study plan look like for the week?"
Perfect question to get on a Monday!
I actually have a fairly empty week ahead, no lectures Monday or Tuesday and the only day I have social activities planned this week is Wednesday.
I'd like to focus on Microeconomics and Economic Decision Making this week.
The former because I have the most to cover for it.
The latter because I have a test next Wednesday.
I'm mainly just hoping to do a little bit everyday, and get to a point where I've watched all the relevant lecture recordings and taken notes.
It's early in the semester yet and my usual approach is to cover everything loosely first and then zero in on particular areas I find interesting and/or difficult.

3/100 Days of Productivity
So first of all I've got two really big pieces of news to share:
I finally got my ADHD diagnosis, which feels amazing. I feel like I suddenly have a lot of answers to questions I've been asking my whole life and now I can actually start exploring new avenues of treatment, like medication.
I actually finally got the grades for all of my semester 1 exams - every single one above 70. Every. Single. One. I am absolutely flabbergasted that I might have a genuine chance of polishing off this year with a 1:1. And so happy. No one can tell me shit today.
With that out of the way: I went for a walk and celebratory bubble tea with my boyfriend :)
And then came right home and finally got started catching up with my Microeconomics material from last semester. I'm really struggling with this module frankly because of my lecturer, I don't click with his teaching style and he makes me kind of too uncomfortable to reach out to him and ask for extra help.
To put it succinctly the man is a Poundland Elon Musk and I don't want to spend more time listening to him than I absolutely have to.
Nevertheless I do need to pass this module so I'm glad I'm finally making progress on that :)

3-4/03/24
study goal (2h)? ❌
did exercises about inverters (okay, i can do this)
studied inverter
installed a thing for a project i hope gets approved
sent essay (i can't do an essay without doing things wrong, which i guess it's normal, but it's so frustrating)
study goal(2h)?❌
revised inverters
studied a bit of history
While i didn't met my daily goal, I did everything I had to do for school. I could have spent the time coding or doing other things. I'll try to do that from now on.
Day 19 - Share your process for critically analyzing information!
While searching on the internet i usually check where the info comes from and if it is written in more than 2-3 sites.
Day 20 - What habits have you modified to enchance your productivity?
I do to-do lists, and i try to do less multitasking when studying.

2/30 New Years Momentum Challenge
"Share a photo of your study area!"
So one of the reasons it took so long for me to post this one (aside from like. Depression.) Is that I don't have a set study space!
Studying in my room kind of just exacerbates my mental health issues.
So instead I'm posting a picture of the most aesthetically interesting of the three libraries I like setting up camp in!
It's delightfully spooky and maze-like in a way that I think all libraries should be.
I got so lost looking for the toilet last night.
It has some really cool historical/artistic/information exhibits. (Creepiest guy ever under the cut.)

I love him.
