I am enjoying this Keto Almond Loaf from Keto Junction. I am enjoying this almond loaf, applying the Keto principle in mind when I eat it. Pairing it with @goodfood.products Bacon!! I also love the Chia Raspberry Fruit Spread (brand: House of Chia), one of my favorite grocery finds. Midway my meal, I am missing some savory feel, so I added a dollop of Tomato Ricotta Pesto (Filippo Berio) and Basil Pesto (Contadina). Calamansi Harvest from my brother's backyard Calamansi Tree!! So finally Jeck harvested the fruits from his Calamasi Tree. I think he also gave his tree some trimming, a some branches are overlapping over his neighbor's fence and roof. These are way better than the ones you buy at the market. The skin is thin, and the fruit is extra juicy. We're loading up on citrus here to fight the invisible enemy. Today's Big Breakfast at Hexa's Kitchen: Toasted Keto Almond Loaf Slices, Schüblig and Egg (need to buy more eggs)🌞🥚🍳🌭🍞❤🧡💛💚💙💜 It's my first time to try Almond Bread, and I am still experimenting with the portion. I learned that I can do with one slice of the Almond Bread and one piece of Schüblig per meal. It is very filling. I was not able to finish this serving size and I ate the rest of this meal come lunch time. I wanted to support my friend's baking business, since I also want to try switching to Keto bread from the regular white bread. When in Lucban Had a quick merienda with Pepot at Veggie Hut before driving back home. Our meet up was my last errand for my impromptu long drive. I delivered rubber foam that he ordered from Estanislao Shoe Supply, now EEGM Marketing (E. Estanislao General Merchandise). It's my first time eating here at Veggie Hut, orginaly just a vegetarian mini mart. Now they have cooked vegetarian meals too. I had Veef Kebabs paired with Ciabatta (long drive baon ko), while Pepot had Veef Shawarma with Rice. Good thing I ate before driving back home. My drive home to Marikina was quicker by 30min, than when I drove going to Lucban. I even managed to have a quick stopover for gas refill and restroom break at Petron in Pililla, just outside the boundary of Jalajala. I am going to have frequent trips there in the suceeding months as we're transitioning to have a new caretaker for our Linang in Kulapi. Now, my body feels the back to back long drive! Today's Order of Business Lucban, Quezon Waiting in line for our property tax declaration payment. On screen is the Town Mayor's Ulat sa Bayan. Giving his constituents some updates about the town funds and current situation of related to the pandemic. Everything is orderly, and physical distancing is properly observed. Two weeks ago, this humble town broke it's ZERO Covid case streak, when news came out about its first positive case. All because one person decided not to declare that they're still waiting for their Covid Swap Test Result, didn't observe self quarantine and even had the gall to host a party. Small town mentality, is when a person only thinks about one's self and not considering the effects of their action to other people.
