I just realised what is probably my all time favourite trope is "characters finding out about someone's (possibly tragic) backstory / about secrets they kept".
Of the original scenarios I've imagined (but not written, I've never been an active writer) for many different fandoms, all the way back to my first ones, many center on that trope ; it's also something I look for a lot in fics.
Exemples of that trope from my reading and/or imagining : identity reveals in Miraculous or Spy x Family ; the Marauders discovering Remus' lycanthropy in HP ; the Elrics or their team finding out about Mustang and Hawkeye's common past (possibly Riza's tattoo) in Fullmetal Alchemist (manga/Brotherhood) or from that very specific series of books I read as a kid that I hope will get more appreciation now that it's being adapted into a cartoon by a French studio, what-if scenarios of one character's past (which was published after the main series) actually having an impact on the main series (I mean it does, a tiny bit, but it's a small side note in the story and could have played a bigger part).
It's the first time I actually make the connection between these and it's kind of mind-blowing.

Since discovering the fandom at the start of the year, I've published exactly 2 fics for Moriarty the patriot, a one-shot and a multi-chapter fic I haven't updated in a couple month.
And while I do have a few words documents with drafts of scenes for this fic (some for the next chapter, some much further in the future), in the last couple months I have drafted a dozen different stories which can all be summed up to "Albert talking about his feelings with William, the both of them hugging and crying in each other's arms with some Louis sprinkled in" - which was also the theme of the one-shot I published.
It's kind of crazy how many times you can write the exact same thing yet make it somehow different.
Apart from this very specific trope, and my multi-chapters fic, I have two other drafts which are multi-chapters fic I will most likely never write because I only have vague ideas for those (and I already have a hard enough time writing a multi-chapters fic I have a much more developed concept for).
Well, we'll see when I next publish something.

That's over 70 names of public figures on my own in - well I didn't time it, but at most 30 mins. Probably closer to 15. I would have struggled to get to 100 in a reasonable time, but I'm well over the 50 needed per person if you do it in a team.
Clearly it's way easier if you have a specific topic you're knowledgeable in that you can draw names from. The first 38 names, so over half, are all female biathletes (it does help that the biathlon season ended weeks ago, so it's fresher in my memory than it would be in September). Then you've got a couple other athletes, singers/actors, authors, politicians, various historical figures. Unsurprisingly, many of my names are French personalities.

Question to the jltg community :
If I try to name 100 women, do they have to be living people or can they be historical figures as well?

Okay biathlon fans, for anyone interested in the battle for the blue bib between Jeanne Richard and Océane Michelon, here is the jist.
Jeanne currently has a 24 points lead, so in order for them to have the exact same score after tomorrow's race, we need them to place (Jeanne/Océane respectively) : 7/3 or 10/4 or 15/5 or 20/6 or 26/9 or 28/11 or 29/13 or 30/15.
These scenarios also gives us an idea of whether Jeanne keeps or looses the blue bib if Océane is ahead.
If they tie and best results are used to pick a single winner, Jeanne will prevail (both got a single third place this season but Jeanne has more 4th places) EXCEPT in the 7/3 scenario.

Some crazy things in this race already. Friendly reminder that had JTB not been sick, half the field would have been French or Norwegian today.

I can't believe France is still leading this thing so late into the season. In December it felt like a fluke, a statistical improbability which would be corrected with more results. Now it feels real.
It's not just that last year Norway won with a lead of over a thousand points on Germany and France. It's also that, historically, French athletes perform better on pursuits and mass starts, which are not taken into account for this ranking, than in sprints and individuals. Yet, this year, they're doing well. Just today, they performed better than the Norwegians (looking at the first 3 of each nation, which is what is taken into account for the Nations Cup).

As someone who absolutely adores Albert's character (probably because I identify to him a lot though I don't think about that much), and the relationship between the Moriarty brothers in general, I am so in love with the Everlasting Children arc of The Remains. Protective big brother Albert is at a all time high and I'm incredibly thrilled.
That one shot when he catches Louis and looks so concerned, the fact that he always seems to be running behind his brothers, keeping pace with them even though it is implied (and logical) that he is the fastest runner, that time when he catches Jack's blade in the dark room after Louis slipped, everything is just so goddamn adorable!
