Tomas has been missing for over a year now. Nobody has any idea where he is or what happened, and not many still have any hope that he’s even still alive. It doesn’t matter if there’s still hope or it’s already too late, Kuai Liang refuses to give up on him.

Being Grandmaster of his clan and a father figure to Hanzo, at the same time time searching far and wide for the man he deeply cares about isn't easy.

The Lin Kuei clan is thriving after being restored and reformed by its current Grandmaster. They are in charge of Earthrealm’s safety now, and leading the clan is the work of Kuai Liang’s life. But spring comes even for a cryomancer.

Meanwhile, Bi-Han rises to power in the Netherrealm, as one of its leaders, but Quan Chi threatens it all, and it is decided that a temporary alliance with Earthrealmers can be beneficial for both of their realms. However, there are protocols and procedures that have to be followed. One of the conditions is an arranged marriage, and there’s only one suitable person that they can find in Noob Saibot’s domain.

An AU where Tomas grows up lonely and isolated in the Netherrealm, but then meets Kuai Liang anyway.

After escaping the Lin Kuei, Kuai Liang and Tomas have made some progress building their own clan, but some things from the past continue to haunt Scorpion, and he can only imagine how much worse it is for Tomas. Kuai Liang wants to do the right thing and make everything clear between them, once and for all. For that, the two of them are going to have to take a trip.

Tomas and Kuai Liang go on a holiday together, but said holiday has a much deeper meaning than just a change of scenery for the two hard-working men.

Hi just a question what is ur favorite subsmoke story you have written?

Hello! :)

I had to take some time to think how to answer this, because, typically, I enjoy writing all of my stories. Obviously, I can't be objective in terms of quality, because those are my stories, so I can only choose based on my personal experiences.

For the second timeline it's probably Tears Of The Netherrealm, because it covers such a lengthy period of their lives and everything gets resolved in the end. It was quite challenging for me to write, but it also feels as if I said everything I wanted to say (does that make sense?). One And Only also brought me joy when I, finally, finished it, even though some of the illustrations didn't turn out exactly the way I planned. It's a relief to have it among my other works now, because it was something I had to get off my chest, after having the idea of writing that illustrated story for many years. It vividly played in my head like a video plenty of times.

For the third timeline it's There's No Smoke Without Fire, or the more recent one: Make A Wish (Come True). The latter was a pleasantly smooth sail, very satisfying to write, even though I had to sacrifice a lot of sleep, because I barely had any time to spare when it came to me.

I honestly tried to choose just one, but failed, sorry. :)

I have two things I'm working on. One of them is an artwork with a short story to support it, but I'm quite slow as an artist, so it'll take some time to finish.

I've been a bit busy, mostly because of my shifts at work, but I work on my stories and art whenever I can. I intend to finish one of those things in a couple of weeks or earlier, if everything goes well.

Something unexpected happens, and Kuai Liang learns about Tomas’ deepest desires and what makes him happy. Turns out, he, Kuai Liang, is one of those things. In fact, chances are he’s the key element of it all.

Kuai Liang finds himself in a committed relationship... that he doesn't remember entering.

An art for my new story:

Tomas is quite secure after settling down in his new clan and wholeheartedly embracing his new role as Kuai Liang's second in command, but he still struggles with his demons now and then. One day, he learns that there's a little boy living all alone in the forest outside their compound, and it takes Tomas a while to earn his trust. But he’s very determined.

A slightly different take on how Hanzo finds himself in the Shirai Ryu. But it's Tomas-focused. And Hanzo is even younger in this.

Yes! Absolutely. I have two WiPs I'm currently working on, and I switch my attention between them. They are very different, but they are both Kuai Liang/Tomas.

It's taking time, because both of those projects involve drawing. Or rather, one of them is a story with an artwork to, sort of, illustrate it. And the other one is just an artwork, but it'll require some explanations, so I will either write a short story for it or maybe I'll just end up explaining everything in the A/N (the former is more likely though).

So, no worries, I'm going to post one of those things soon. Because drawing isn't easy for me, it tends to take longer than I initially plan. That's why I can't tell you the exact date, but, if everything goes well, it'll be posted either by the end of this week or in the beginning of the next one.

What I can promise you is that I'm very invested in these two things, despite not having too much free time. :)

I've always had a special place in my heart for this. Kitana as a little girl with her mum never fails to pull at my heartstrings.

The second timeline changed Sindel's character and her backstory is different (and I was quite surprised by it), but, originally, this is what she was like. ⬆️

Oh my god! This is a masterpiece. :) If anybody ever wonders what hurt/comfort looks like, this art is the epitome of it. The facial expressions are so well-done, too. And all of the details, of course.

Sorry for asking a stupid question. I havent played MK-9 but I love your Kuai Liang x Tomas fanfiction and art for any timeline and you often write and draw Tomas having hair that moves and floats and does other interesting things. Is it canon? I know his backstory, enenra and all but I want to know more about his hair.

I hope you give Mortal Kombat 9 a chance, because it's an exceptional example of a Mortal Kombat game (something that feels very right to me, personally, as a fan), and not just because of the story mode.
