If the girls of yellowjackets were animals who would be what because I personally (a major Natalie fan and also someone who firmly believes that I would be a raccoon) think that Natalie would be a raccoon. Maybe Misty too, Misty might be more accurate, but I think Natalie is a raccoon or a cat

omgg natalie as a raccoon lowkey makes sense, their adaptability and resourcefulness mhmm lottie is mostly associated with deers, which i agree with but i also see her as a horse. horses were seen as the animal who carried the souls of the dead from earth to heaven in greek civilizations.

now walk with me here, lottie is the one who mainly honors/acknowledges the dead - suggesting to spend a few mins in silence at doomcoming for laura lee, letting shauna mourn jackie however she wants, when the baby dies she acknowledges that the wilderness kept shauna alive which is what they wanted, kind of acting like a 'messenger' if u will.

other than that, horses are said to have spiritual power and a connection with higher energies. in hinduism, it symbolizes concepts like rituals and sacrifices - the way the others treat her as a scapegoat, in a way 'sacrificing' her. shauna is definitely a wolf - intelligent, high endurace, strength. wolves also represents lack of trust in oneself or others and in most cultures, they're seen as a symbol of power. i see taissa as a dog, specifically a german shepherd. her protective nature, determination - the way she overachieves post-rescue bcs she doesnt want to waste another chance at life, smart and hardworking. van is a golden retriever for suree. loyal, making choices more on emotion than logic, optimistic, charming. they're also a symbol for warmth and safety - esp for taissa i fear. also misty's reddit user being african grey?? and african grey parrots being one of the smartest birds?? they're also really adaptable and resilient and jackie as a rabbit ofc
