Recently I’ve been in lots of drawpile sessions with my wife @fallenhopewithinstars, a beautiful person I met thanks to this AU <3 and we drew some cute things for it, hope you like them! they’re just sketches but we’re really proud of them

yes yes i know there’s a lot of mistakes but i did this in 2 days ;;; but i want to say thank you for 600+ followers!!! it makes me really happy that you guys enjoy my content ^^

Do you have any tips for making an animatic??

1) Plan it out by storyboarding, trust me this helps out a lot when it comes to figuring out what will happen in that scene in the particular moment, where the setting is placed, what the person(s) are doing and where they are positioned (not to mention its helps with being more expressive in some shots??)  

2) Listen to music carefully, hear the emotion that the singer is trying to project throughout the song to their audience for example, if the singer is singing a sad song the character should feel some sort of pain or sadness within them not to mention have sad expressions or movements 

3) Doesn’t have to be really detailed, this isn’t a drawing its more like a small sketch it doesn’t have to be colored (of course that’s by choice) it can be messy but not too messy, you can also change the background for it not to be plain white maybe add a splash of blue or yellow?(like night=blue)

4) Take a break once in a while, it’s fine to take your time on these things what’s more important is your health and this is from experienced (where I’ve handled like 4 animatics at once pushing myself to complete them, oof that was a bad time) besides it’s best to step away from working on it, so that later you can come back to it with fresh new energy and possibly new ideas  

5) Have fun, of course in the end you need to have fun while making these and its okay if it isn’t what you expected to be the thought is that you created something that you worked hard on and enjoyed doing!

I’m not good at explaining things but I do hope you guys get what I was trying to say ^^;;; Honestly if you guys want more tips (and a better explanation lol) on how to make one, YouTube is the best place for it so I suggest going there to look up videos
