I enjoyed playing with colors and backgrounds. Shading with acrylics is hard.

I live! Busy with work and building a new PC (!), but I did find time to play and 100% Eternal Strands.

Great world-building, solid writing, and fantastic voice acting. Very cool physics-based combat/movement systems with a lot of interesting mixing of fun magical powers. There are also huge creature encounters very much inspired by Shadow of the Colossus, which is one of my favorite games of all time...

To top it all off, I enjoyed Brynn a lot as a protag (always here for more Asian leading ladies) and her romance route with Casmyn was sweet.

I feel like more people should know about the Filipino phrase bahala na si Batman. quite literally, it means it's up to Batman. on a more figurative level, it means that you're leaving something to God/fate - metaphorically represented by Batman, of course.

big event that you haven't prepared for but you're going anyway? bahala na si Batman. major exams coming up and you haven't reviewed yet? bahala na si Batman. about to do anything remotely risky/luck-based? bahala na si Batman.

anyways, I just think it's hilarious that Batman is now a part of our culture through this saying. is this a thing in other cultures/languages too? let me know!

2 episodes in and my favorite show of the new anime season is Girls Band Cry.

Unfortunately it's not licensed on any English streaming platforms... but a proper fansub group (SobsPlease) picked up the series and they're doing excellent work. Highly recommended you check out their releases.

The lead seiyuu are all legit musicians who perform as the band Togenashi Togeari, the premise is refreshingly grounded, and the 3D animation pops off when it counts -- a lot of expressiveness in funny/emotional scenes and the song performances are really well directed and super accurate.

Also, casual gay rep in the first episode (Momoka is talking about her roommate here). So, rad.
