Holy shit, there’s no way you’re dreaming right now. The guy you’re crushing on since your junior years wants to talk to you at the fields after your cleaning session ends, and do you feel happy about it? Of course, you are.

The thing is…the thought of what he’s going to talk about with you is making you nervous. Will he be asking you for something school-related? Or maybe some friendly favor? Or will he ask you out to prom? Your thoughts have been circling around your mind while cleaning the room until all of you were finished.

You quickly take your things with you and head outside the building as you make your way to the fields where Kunhang is waiting for you right now.

Minutes later and you find Kunhang standing beside a lamp post in the fields. He was on his phone to prevent getting bored while waiting for you to come. You run towards him with your hand waving at him, and he eventually notices you when you call out for him in the distance.

“You’re here.” He smiles, turning his phone off, and shoves it inside the pocket of his sweater. “Hi, did I made you wait for too long?” You ask him, making him shake his head, indicating that he didn’t, which made you sigh in relief.

You place your bag beside his that was leaning against the post base before you stare back at him with a grin, “So, what do you want to ask me?” You feel like your heart is beating much faster than a while ago in the classroom. It keeps beating louder and louder as you were waiting for him to tell what he’s going to ask you, but there you see the guilty and sheepish expression overtook his face while gnawing on his bottom lip.

“Let’s pretend.”

It was a Friday evening when Yangyang bids farewell to his friends after their hangout. He heads inside and sees a few of his schoolmates walking back to their dorms while others were at the main hall, studying for their upcoming quizzes by next week.

His footsteps echoes through the dormitory hallway as he comes across the staircase where the rooms are. Yangyang starts walking up the stairs, his eyes gaping at the campus pathways through the glass walls before he finally arrives at the floor where his room is.

He remembers the words you would always tell him once he enters the room, and he lightly chuckles at the thought.

You would always tell him to not make any noise whenever he comes back from hanging out with his friends. And Yangyang would always see you in your slumber the moment he carefully opens the door to walk inside. There was no day where he failed to walk in without disturbing you from your beauty sleep.

Yangyang faces the white wooden door of his room. He pulls the dorm key out of his pockets, dangling from his hands and gently inserts it into the keyhole. “Don't make any noise when you come back, I don't like being disturbed.” Your voice echoed in his head as he was trying to open the door very slowly.

He notices the faint light that seems to be your lamp made him pause, assuming that you were still up.

Since what time were you still awake? It's already 11 in the evening, he questions himself. When he finally slips himself through the door and closes it as quietly as possible, he finds you on your desk with various materials on the side.

He plops his bag on his bed and walks up to you, realizing that you had dozed off while creating your project for your class next week.

He glances at the materials then back to your sleeping figure. Why would you let yourself do the project at this hour when you have the time for the weekend? Yangyang assumes that you didn't want to make it tomorrow and started it tonight, so you will have the rest of your time doing what you want on the next day.

Yangyang thinks for a moment, then decides to place his hand behind your knees and scoops you up into his arms to carry you. The lovely fragrance of your perfume he smells was lingering around him, along with the cute look on your face when you sleep which creates a pink dusting his cheeks.

It's either because he never finds you this pretty when you sleep, or has a teeny-tiny (massive) crush on you, that's why Yangyang’s like this.

He just really likes your company, or when you try to wake him up during the weekdays, or when you help him out with his homework, or the way you want to play with his hair whenever you're bored. He finds it relaxing when your hands find themselves tangled in between his brown locks, then ruffles it to mess with his hair. He loves every moment of that.

Once he lies you down on your bed, he covers you with the duvet, preventing you from shivering by the cold air. He hopes that he didn't wake you up as you are a light sleeper, and he sighs in relief when you were still in your deep sleep.

Yangyang looks back from his shoulders to look at the mess you made on your desk before he starts cleaning them up. He grabs your pen and writes down on your notepad with the note: 'don't overwork yourself next time, alright? :)' as putting it aside after.

He kicks his shoes off, placing them under his bed, and plops himself on his mattress, looking at the white concrete ceiling as he looks to the side to watch you sleeping soundly.

"Goodnight." He gently whispers, pulling the blanket over to cover his body, and drifts off to sleep.

✧ taeil: gets so shocked. like 0 to 100. won’t say anything until the calls over but stares at you like a clueless owl the whole time. you have to hold back your laughter because he looks so taken aback. stops what he’s doing to just ⊙_⊙ at you. “lol what did you just say?”

✧ johnny: jaw drops instantly and if he was sitting, he’s on his feet in one second. points at you, at himself, then screams “FRIEND?!” is extremely offended, will never let you live after this. brings it up to be annoying at least 3 times a week.

✧ taeyong: “huh?” is basically his reaction. wonders who you’re talking to and why you couldn’t tell them you’re with your boyfriend. gets super pouty when you don’t correct yourself but just smile at him. “that’s not right, i’m your boyfriend. love me!”

✧ yuta: goes off. man won’t take this. raises his voice and disrupts your phone call. “friend? there better be someone laying under the couch that’s your friend because i’m not your friend.” when the call ends he sits on/straddles you until you tell him why you were “being such a meanie.”

✧ doyoung: ㄴ( ° △ °|||)ㄱ doesnt know what to do. kind of just stares at you and is baffled, mumbling for you to explain yourself. kind of like a mix of johnny and taeil. stutters and chuckles nervously. tells everyone what happened after and how much you hurt him (as a joke, dont worry).

✧jaehyun: freezes when you say it and laughs to himself but keeps going on with whatever he was doing before- essentially doesn’t react. you really messed up because he will not let it go and just teases you the whole day. “no kisses for you, go love your friend instead.”

✧ jungwoo: might drop whatever is in his hands at the time so be careful with your timing. will curse at you if he get him riled up enough about it. latches on to you for the rest of the day and is so much more affectionate, constantly reminds you he’s your boyfriend and definitely not your friend.

✧ mark: after the initial shock, he’ll pad up to you and pout all “why did you say i’m your friend? who is it? tell them i’m your boyfriend.” won’t leave your side until you say you’re with your boyfriend mark, then he’ll light up and give you big ‘thank you’ smoochies. you’ll still have to explain yourself afterwards though.

✧ haechan: baby yuta. will ask who you’re talking to and if it’s someone he knows (except your parents lol), he’ll ask for the phone and let it off on them, making sure they know you’re with him and not just some friend. literally scolds you after and reprimands you for being a bad s/o. it becomes a little joke between you guys, calling each other “friend”.

You slowly open your eyes at the sound of the raindrops getting louder as the temperature of your room began to drop down, causing you to shiver. Gazing at the window, you saw the dark grey clouds occupying the sky as the water continuously drop to the ground. Too lazy to even get up from the soft and comfy mattress, you reached out to grab your phone from the desk beside you. Just as you were about to unlock your phone, it began to vibrate as the name of the caller suddenly popped on the screen. 

This made your lips curved into a smile before accepting the call, his soothing voice entering your ears. 

“Good morning, sweetheart.” The sound of his incredibly deep voice was enough to complete your morning, and you can’t help but fall in love with his voice more and more. “Is it okay if I request a video call?” You only chuckled in response as a long yawn escaped out from your lips. “You know that I look ugly when I wake up in the morning, right?” You could hear his laugh from the other side of the call as you went along with him. “Y/N, you aren’t ugly. Even when you’re drooling, you still look adorable.” You could feel his teasing smug, and it made you want to scream and hit his head. 

“Yuta, I swear when you come over here at my place, I’m going to hit you in the head.“ You jokingly said, snuggling against your delicate pillows as you placed your phone near your ear. "Please come over. I want to be with you today.”

“Don’t worry, even when it’s raining, it won’t stop me from going there. Let’s watch and cuddle when I get there, alright?“ Humming in response, you couldn’t wait to feel his warm embrace around yours all day.
