With some help from our fellow Metro Trading Association partners, Jersey Mike's Subs (Toledo, OH) and Mike Millenbach Wedding Officiant, we went down to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center today to show our support and feed some of the Local Nursing Staff on strike. We wanted them, and the Administration staff there, to know that there ARE local businesses who are supporting our local nurses. The individuals we met this afternoon are compassionate about what they do. They are the people that take care of US ALL when we are at our worst. All they are asking for are things like affordable healthcare, fair and acceptable work loads (these individuals are extremely overworked), and a healthy amount of time off for rest so they can continue to provide the best healthcare possible to our areas residents. If you have the time, please go down and show your support to those down along Cherry Street. If you cannot make it down and wish to show your support, we have a petition you can sign for them in the post pinned to the top of our Facebook page.
