Reduce the upload time of multiple documents from here on!
As you might be knowing, the upload time depends on different factors like the network speed, the response of the webserver, and upload file size, etc. You will have to check with your IT team and review whether these factors were considered while building an application.
In case if this is related to file size, there are ways to compress and reduce the file size in android. But have you ever thought about why these challenges happen?
I am listing down a few!
•Digitalization has triggered a high volume of mobile-based image capture.
•There is no standard layout size for images that are getting captured from mobiles.
•Mobile apps are developed only with a focus on UI flow and document capture processes are implemented using default cameras and libraries.
•This results in sub-quality UX capture flow.
•Based on the type of the camera (1 Megapixel to 60/80 Megapixels.) The size of each image also varies.
•This results in higher time to upload, network usage as well as higher storage usage.
So, here comes the solution!
Try integrating QuickCapture which is a mobile SDK, the application that allows developers to integrate and thereby improve the overall document capture experience for the end-users. The benefits of using this are many!
It simplifies the multi-shot capture process and saves infrastructure costs for customers with smaller files sizes. It has the ability to Autofocus and detects shake, ensuring the best quality images with less effort. This is not the first time I am writing about mobile SDK for android. So yeah, thank me later for suggesting the best document scanner to you!

Can we improve mobile-based multi-capture of images and documents without compromising quality?
The technical solution providers and mobile developers who develop mobile applications with Document capture functionalities face lot many challenges.
A few include
•Slow upload and download
•High network utilization
•High storage utilization
There are many documents scanning SDKs to ease the process. But still, finding the best high-volume document scanner with excellent results is important!
A few of the mobile document capture challenges faced by end-users:
•Shake or focus issues that result in multiple time capture of the same image.
•Based on the number of pages time taken to upload is high
•Most of the mobile apps are not optimized for multiple page capture and review which results in higher time and efforts to capture.
What's the solution?
Try integrating QuickCapture which is a mobile SDK, the application that allows developers to integrate and improve the overall document capture experience for the end-users. It simplifies the multi-shot capture process and saves infrastructure costs for customers with smaller files sizes.
The ability of Quick Capture to Autofocus and detect shake helps to capture the best quality images with less effort. Ultimately, improved user experience is what we all look for. Right ?!
