It was the year 1960, and the tension between Japan and the U.S. was high. This didn’t mean a lot for the Japanese-born man Solomon Mutou because he wasn’t in either country at the moment. He was in Egypt, where the Mummy frenzy died down a long time ago, yet tourism was still commonplace for these ancient ruins that this country contained.
Solomon wasn’t in Egypt for typical tourism. No, he came here for another reason. Those reasons were also why he sought out non-common guides and was currently riding a camel instead of a car. They wanted to avoid the roads since they were well aware they were trespassing and doing something illegal in an area in which many secrets had already been dug out and removed from a once-holy place.
“We’re finally here,” Solomon said with a silent breath. The trip felt longer on animal backs, and the camels didn’t have pleasant smells either.  “The valley of the king.”
“It’s your last chance to turn around,” one of his guides quivered. His name was Mushara, and he was at least 15 years younger than Solomon. He looked older than he was due to his hard life and living in an unforgiving sun.
Solomon tipped his favorite fedora further up so his hidden eyes shimmered under it. He smirked lightly at the fear he heard in his younger guide’s voice.
The older of his two guides looked at Solomon. He was only a few years older than Mushara. Still, his eyes were hardened and reminded Solomon of granite at the time. His name was Ahmet, and he was the older brother of Mushara. He has mostly talked with Solomon. “From here on, it is the territory of the dead. When the sun sets, darkness devours all, including the souls of the living.”
“Sounds like fun.” Solomon hummed sarcastically.
“Over 60 tombs have been discovered in that valley, but the Pharaoh's tomb that you seek. Well… let’s just say that nobody has ever come out alive.” Mushara said. His camel could feel his tension, and it began to make a noise of discomfort.
“There was one. A British man who came here before the Great War.” Ahmet said bluntly, “But he was driven mad. Now he wanders our village, repeating the same word over and over… the shadow games.”
Solomon didn’t meet that man when he sought out his two guides. He would have loved this information before they took this trip. He would have loved to have gotten more information about the tomb and the wonders it contained. “Shadow game, eh? That’s exactly what I’m looking for.” Solomon smirked, confident. He pushed his camel to walk, and his two guides glanced at each other before following him.
“Just so you know. Only the one who wins the games can get to the treasure hidden beyond.” Mushara warned him. Solomon ignored the gleam in his eyes.
“There are traps inside that tomb that no one has been able to solve. So great riches must still be inside.” Ahmet pointed out. Solomon ignored the richest part. He didn’t care about that. Ahmet took his silence as agreement and warned him firmly, “Remember, we’re just guides. We can only lead you to the entrance of the tomb. Once we get inside, it is you who must lead us. Unlike you, we’re not willing to sacrifice our lives to the tomb.“
“Yeah, we’re not fools like you who would throw our lives away for a game. You put your neck on the line to lead us to the treasure.” Mushara agreed quickly.
“I know,” Solomon said. He let go of the reins of his camel so he could light up a cigarette. The smoke made his animal make a funny noise of disgust. Solomon pushed his camel to follow the two others, and he looked sternly at his guides the moment he was beside them again, “But you are mistaken. It is not riches I’m after. I’m after something much greater than that.”
“I’m not sure I understand,” Ahmet said quietly.
“I wouldn’t expect you to,” Solomon said. Mushara pointed out the tomb’s entrance around a strong stone cast away from them, and Solomon stopped his camel and told it to lie down. It took skills and strong arm and leg muscles not to make a fool of himself for tumbling off the animal. He got off stretches and smiled carelessly at the two Egyptians,  “Let’s take a break and eat. Grave robbing is something best done at night.”

A massive redesign of Zorc. I found a single image of him in the manga, and I like how different he looked in this image, so I tried to design him a lot after that.
Design notes
Face, biggest horns, fingers, and three eyes are based on a single manga panel. The teeth were changed to my own design.
He is far more based on a skeleton now, but not to the point that it is evident at first glance.
This Zorc is unable to walk on two legs as much as the original is. Locomotion happens most on four legs. Wings are also used as legs when not in flight. Wings help to push buildings away from the body or to keep balance. It is tough to topple this Zorc because of the extra pair of limbs/wings.
Dragon penis are turned into a tail instead. I don't think a lot could take that seriously. turned the design a bit simpler to make it more streamlined.
Colors are taken from the anime, but kept in the darker colors since he is sometimes titled the Dark God. Eyes are turned into a very bright red, so they are what takes someone's attention.

“How did you manage it?” Yami asked him with narrow eyes. he had no idea how Bakura even knew what his country looked like 3000 years ago.
“You don’t remember?” this Bakura smirked; he gestured to the miniature world in front of them, “this elaborate diorama we’re using as a game field was made for another of my host’s future roleplaying games. or should I say… I made my host build this in anticipation of our final duel. He did a good job, don’t you think? After all. He was personally chosen by the Thief King. a perfect weak little thing there was so easy to manipulate.”
“You fiend!” Yami showed teeth when this Bakura dared to insult his friend, “You and your cursed ring! How much will you abuse my friend before you’re satisfied?”
“Until I get what I wanted or when his body is too weak to carry out my will.” This Bakura said that they were talking about a product and not human life, “not like it would matter much longer. He and everyone else in this room will die for meddling with my plans.”
Yami glances to his right. His friends lay unconscious in coffins, which have been put on display for the two players. When they transcended the maze of the Millennium puzzle to help Yami, their souls left their bodies, only leaving soulless bodies behind. Bakura drags them into this room as a way to control Yami. Just in case he tried to go back to Yugi’s body to do anything other than play with Bakura.
Yami growled at him. he didn’t like feeling trapped.
“Hmm.” This Bakura ignored him and looked down at the table where Aknadin had just pulled out his eye. “your other soul looks so confused. Let me explain things to him.” he gestured to the badly implamed mummy behind him. Yami had a question about why it was in the room with them, but this Bakura hadn’t given any answer… until now, “and let me introduce you to the last player in this little campaign… my priest of shadows.” Yami stared at the mummy. Only now, when he really looked at it, could he see that it was Aknadin. This is the fate he was going to meet in the future. He was buried away from anyone else, chained up so he was never allowed into the afterlife, and forgotten by anyone else.
“This dried-up husk was once high priest Aknadin.” Yami stared, shocked at him and then at the character of Aknadin. He began to realize why the priestess was hanging around now. “this game is a simulation, but it is based on the truth. With a few minor changes since your reign was over three years, I only speeded things up. Aknadin is just a corpse forgotten by time now, but 3000 years ago, Aknadin betrayed the Pharaoh and the Priests by placing the last Millennium items inside the Millennium stone and became the high priest of darkness through the power of Zorc.” Yami looked at him wide-eyed and angry. This Bakura seemed amused of his anger, “are you still wondering why I removed the Thief king from my playing field? He was going to die at that point. You and the priests killed him; that is why he has to go.” He leaned forward with blood-red eyes gleaming knowingly, “Just be glad I do not punish your friends for your little trick with the doll. I am still wondering where you got it from.”
Yami glanced at one of the items he had on his side of the field. Besides each card representing himself and the priests and how much life, magic, and abilities they each have, he also has a few items with him. One of them is a doll made by his friend Ryou Bakura. It had been his Mage of Light doll. Now, it just lies beside him with no head. He used it in the hope of turning the Thief king against this Bakura when he saw some odd behavior from him.
But his plan backfired.
Yami glances at the cards on both of the fields. They represent himself, the Thief King, his priests, and the few people he trusted in the royal court, such as Shimun and Mana. Other cards showed the Millennium items. All the human cards act independently, and Yami can only do minor commands in the hope that he can change a few things, such as telling his soul inside the game and Mana to go and find Mahad while he battles the Thief King. When the characters, such as Mahad, Karim, and the Thief King, die, the cards are removed from the game.
This Bakura placed all seven Millennium items cards on his side of the field. “Now… the seven Millennium items have fallen into Aknadin’s hands! He will now place them in the Millennium stone!”

this is something I need for my future story about Atem's life. really hard to find when you don't know what to search for.
Some outfits
Tumblr media
Atem's day to day wear probably would have been something like this. The kephresh because they were in war, with the heavy jeweled collar and belt and long pleated garment called the kalasaris, with decorated sandals. He would have worn a fake beard, too, of course, and the Pendant.
Personally, I've always thought the crown Atem wears in the show (besides obviously being used to show off his hair as a recognizable character trait) was used to symbolize that he never cared much for his official status's demands as decoration--hence why he always wore a short kilt (the shendyt) reminiscent of being on a chariot. I've also interpreted it as the crown he wore as Prince, rather than as Pharaoh.
(Of course, since Memory World was a game, it's pretty easy to pin it on Bakura just trying to simplify his design, too, to make the mini.)
The other Priests would have also worn similarly colorful and elaborate clothing, of course, made of dyed linens made from flax. As he was from the new kingdom, they would be thin and almost transparent, and they would have been decorated with plenty of colorful gold and jewels. Most clothing was decorated with patterns and dyes, though of course the base would be off-white as a sacred color, with embroidery and beads used.
Tumblr media
Also, here are couple more things.
Tumblr media
The left side would be what his outfit appears to be based on in Memory World--the war official outfit, with his acting duty as Pharaoh on the throne next to it. On the second to right is the scale mail he would have worn on chariot, pictured in action below, the far right being a common soldier.
Tumblr media
Here he would have been in action!

“ A public trial? ” Yami asked.
“Yes, my Pharaoh, ” Shimon said. He lowered his voice so only Ymi could hear him, “Kemet has recently become a powerful country. But there are those who are envious of our prosperity and wish to remove you because of your royal blood and status. ” Yami gave him a concerned look, “Do not worry, my Pharaoh. As long as your six high priests are with you, no one will lay a finger on you.”
“ Now, your crime will be judged by the seven Millennium items! ” Seti declared. Yami leaned forward to watch how this trial worked. Seti looks at the man with the facial tattoo and the one who holds the Millennium key. “Priest Shada!”
Priest Shada stepped over to stand in front of the assassin. “Now, with the power of the Millennium ankh, I shall see into your heart. ” He lifted the Millennium key. It glowed for a few seconds, and Shada did not move an inch. Yami knew he was snooping about this man’s soul room. The key stopped glowing, and he told the others, “Just as I expected. I see the shadow of an evil Ka lurking inside his heart.”
A ka? This that ancient Egypt for creatures? Yami thought to himself. He didn’t ask Shimun since he had the feeling that his question was about to be answered.
The man named Aknadin steps forward. “I shall now use the Millennium eye to identify the true form of ka in your heart.” He keeps eye contact with the man, and out of the man’s mouth, ears, and eyes ooze a thick-colored shadow. Something is coming out of the man’s body!
“What is going on? ” Yami asked, shocked.
“This is your first time seeing a Ka removed from a criminal, ” Shimon said. At least this time, Yami’s reactions were normal, “as you know. We all have a Ka inside our bodies, but if our sheut is fed too much anger, hatred, or other negative emotions. Those emotions will corrupt our Ka until they are the ones making the Ba, the body, breaking the divine order of Ma’at and increasing their power by creating more rage and sorrow. ”  Yami blinked and stared confused at him. A lot of what he said completely flew over his head. He looks back and sees the colored shadows taken from him. It is a dark green humanoid monster with four arms and long teeth. It snarled angrily at the priests. Shimun explains further, “We do not know a lot about corrupted Ka’s, but we do know that removing them from the Ba will increase the possibility that the criminal will never go back to the life of crime again. ”
So a Ka is a spirit monster. The Ba is what I can tell, the power of our soul, and the sheut is the thing that corrupts the soul monster. There is so much to learn. “That is why they are removed? ”
“ Yes. Less time in the dungeon and punishment. ” Shimon nodded. “Now watch as the priest, chosen by the seven sacred items, seals the Ka in that tablet. ”
Yami glanced to his left, where he saw two guards pull a stone tablet into the room. The tablet was around the same size as an average person. Those tablets. I have seen them before in my versions.
“Priest Seti! Use the power of the Millennium rod to seal this shadow Ka into the stone slaps. ” Aknadin shouted to the younger priests.
The other Kaiba looks unimpressed at the snarling monster in front of him. “Hmph! A Ka this weak is no entertainment for our Pharaoh. ” Like the monster heard his insult, it attacked him, but Seti just raised his Millennium rod in response, ” A Ka of evil has no place in this sacred land! Evil Ka, begone!” The millennium rod glowed, and the outline of the monster did the same. Yami watched how with a single strong cast on his arm. Seti threw the monster with magic over to the stone tablet, and the moment it touched it, it was like the tablet swallowed the monster, and, on the surface, was not a carving of the monster . Seti smirked, satisfied.
Yami gaped at what he just witness. He knew the rod could force the mind of whoever it touched to do the bidding on the bearer. Still, he didn’t think it could also throw around a monster triple the size of a human like it were made out of paper. Is this the true power of Millennium Items?

Odion and Ishizu don't have a lot of interaction with each other. it is hard to say how they view each other. do they see each other as siblings? I am pretty sure they do since Ishizu confirms that. do they rely on each other? Yes and no, both can handle themselves, but I am sure they will stand together when Marik is being a brat after Battle City. I do think they have a hard time opening up to each other because of how they were treated in the tomb and afterward. But that might turn out better with time. Both of them have one thing in common, they were both technical in the succession to the title of the leader of the Tomb keepers but were turned away because one was not a biological Ishtar and the other was the wrong gender. Both are litigable to the title if not Marik have been born.

At first glance, it is easy to misunderstand Odion to be nothing more than a, albeit a very faithful, servant to Marik. The way he talks and acts towards Marik screams servant. But if you look closer, you will see that Odion wants to care for Marik, but Marik's father hasn't allowed him to do so. He was the person who played with Marik, the one who nursed him back to health, and the one who never left Marik's side. He even begged to go through the Tomb Keeper ritual, so Marik didn't have to. When that was denied, he carved a promise into his own face to show his loyalty towards the younger man. His loyalty to a boy who took every chance he had to be part of the tomb keepers at his birth was impeccable. Maybe he felt envy once in a while, but there is no denying that Odion would lay down his life for a boy who wanted to call him brother so badly, no matter how much he was denied.
Odion kept secrets from Marik to protect him. he did unforgiving things to protect him. he even was part of the ruse against anyone that he was Marik and took all the hate the younger man had caused. Was it out of love or duty? Maybe both.
Malik looked up to Odion, and he was indeed the closest to an older brother he could ever get, maybe even a father figure (since we all know his biological is terrible), so Odion was his best friend and most faithful follower. Even when he fell into his own darkness, it was Odion's appearance and words that gave him the will to fight again. That tells how much the older man means to Marik. he trusts him even at his worst, and Odion will always be by his side no matter what.

Ishizu was never... expendable. She was a girl born of the leader of the Tomb keepers who only wanted male heirs. When his little brother was born, all that was expected of her was to take care of Malik and maybe have 'spare' heirs ready in case Malik was unable to sire a male heir himself. Ishizu never stood up to herself down in the tomb; she was harshly groomed to follow the rules, listen to her harsh father, and someday take others from her kid brother. She was scared, but she tried not to show it because she was both an older sister and possibly the closest to a mother figure Malik had. Because of their traditions, she didn't dare go against tradition, no matter how much Malik begged her for a change. The only time she did bend the rules was when their father was killed, Odion was half-dead at the hands of her father, and Malik... turned into a monster. She loved her brother, but she was also scared of him, so she tried to keep to the traditions that she had had her whole life, while Marik refused to follow traditions anymore. They left the tomb on bad terms and turned enemies. She still loved him because he and Odion were the last part of her family she had left; she was willing to die to get him back to her. But she still carries the guilt that if she had just followed the tradition of that faithful day and never allowed Marik to see the sun, maybe so much pain and death could have been avoided. Still, she is trying with what she has been granted because no matter what, she will never stop loving her little brother.
Marik has always looked up to his bigger sister. She and Odion were the only light in his dark world. She gave him flowers from the mysterious outside. She told him stories before bedtimes and held him when he cried. She told him about the outside world, which was nothing more than mere myth and legends for him. But his father forced him to separate from her so a future heir wouldn't rely on his older sister. She was a woman. After all. she was expendable. But Marik still loved his sister no matter what tradition said. Even if she did nothing when he went through the Tomb keeper's ritual. He knew she could do nothing. After their father's death, she grew more distant towards him, and he didn't understand it, but it was the crack there that led to their falling out. Marik loved her even if she was against him. he never wanted to hurt her, but he saw no other options. He still loved her enough, so even his darker half respected her enough to not kill her. He loved her and begged her for forgiveness after everything was over. And she gave it to him. They still love each other no matter what pain and suffering they have been through. They only have each other and Odion, who is part of their fractured family.
Maybe that's enough?

Seto had no idea who Noah was for a long time, but he knew instantly that he didn't like the little brat. His disdain only grew bigger when he realized he was his adoptive father/ stepfather's biological son. Don't worry; the disdain is mutual. In the Japanese anime, it is mentioned more than once that Noah looked a lot like Seto when he was the same age, so they are almost a mirror of each other. A mirror in appearance but nothing in personality and how they were raised by the same man.

I don't like this Shipname (Nurseshipping) because their relationship is so much more than that. Careshipping would fit better, and here is my reason. Both in the manga and in the anime, the moment Mai saw Serenity, she instantly went into care mode. She cared for Serenity's well-being so much that it was insanely hard not to see how much Serenity looked up to the older woman. Maybe Mai only cares for Serenity because she is Joey's sister, but I actually think she does it because she really cares for her no matter how you ship them. You mostly see it in the anime, but you can see that Serenity really looks up to Mai and sees her as a second role model. She cares so much for her that she spends most of her time by her bedside to make sure no more harm comes to her. Serenity cares for Mai no matter how you take their relationship. Personally, I see it as Mai sees Serenity as the little sister she never had, and Serenity sees another older sibling in Mai. Someone confident as she hasn't seen much of in her own mother. How can she not look up to her?

That same night, Téa decided to check up on Yugi. She knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep if she didn’t speak to him first about his minor problems. She knew it was late, but she knew Yugi was a bit of a night owl, so she was sure he was still up. She knocked on the door and waited.
“Come in. ” she heard, and she opened the door. Yugi’s room was big. It has its own balcony and table where he could eat. Téa’s own room was fancy but not as fancy as his. Yugi was out on his balcony and looked curiously at her, “everything okay, Téa?”
“I could ask you the same thing. How is mister Mutou doing? ” Téa asked and waved to Yami, who stood beside Yugi. She guessed they had talked.
“The doctor helped with his back, but not much can be done at his age. ” Yugi said while Téa joined him on the balcony, “he is sleeping soundly in his own room. Keep telling me he is better, but I can see it is still bothering him a little.”
“Comes with age, I guess. ” Téa hummed. For a man his age, she was surprised it was only his back there that really bothered him. They looked out of the closed park, and they could see the dragon fountain from where they were standing, “Kaiba really outdid himself. This place is beautiful.”
“Not as beautiful as you.”
“Huh? ” Téa stared, surprised at him. Did I hear right?
Yugi flustered and looked away. “Ehm, what I mean is… ” he stopped himself, took a breath, and said more determined, “No, enough stepping around each other.”
“What are you talking about? We’re not stepping around each other.”
“Aren’t we? ” Yugi looked at her with a knowing look.
Téa felt like she was caught red-handed and looked away. “I-I mean. Maybe a little. ” she looked away and saw Yami. It looked like he was waving at her to continue. She took a breath and mumbled, “But I just… don’t want to ruin our friendship with…”
“With what, Téa?”
“Stupid feelings.”
“There is nothing stupid about it. ” Yugi smiled and looked over the closed park again, “do you remember when we first met?”
“When I made a fool out of myself? ” Téa laughed. Yeah, she remembers.
“Do you even remember why you broke my game in the first place?”
“Ehmm…” Téa tapped her cheek thoughtfully. It took her a second to remember why that happened in the first place, “oh yeah. I was so worked up because those two girls were pushing you down in a mud pool.”
“Yeah, because they heard that is where freaks belonged.”
“You are not a freak, Yugi.”
“You said the same that time. You nearly drowned one of the girls.”
“She just made me so mad!” Téa said between a huff and a laughter. “I do wonder why I didn’t get into more trouble for it.”
“Because those two didn’t want to admit they got whopped by the new girl,” Yugi said knowingly. He chuckled too over the memory, “I gave you my game as a thanks for saving me. Guess you were still worked up since it broke.”
“It was a really hard game, Yugi.” she defended herself. She looked at Yugi’s hand and lay hers on top of his, “Guess I always felt the need to save you.”
He looked at her hand and turned his so he could hold hers “it was that need there that made me like you, Téa.” he looked at her, and she felt herself blush with how tender he was looking at her, “You are beautiful, smart, and don’t take crap from anyone.”
“Wait… Yugi, are you saying…” She took her hand back and up to her mouth. She gaped wide-eyed at him. “You had a crush on me since that day?!” He has liked her more than a friend for years?! How come she never saw it? How could she be so blind?!
Yugi blinked. Then he chuckled, “Yup.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?!”
Yugi huffed, amused, and looked away from her, “Because I was scared you would reject me. You are so smart and strong, and I was not one of those things.”
“Yugi...”
“I get it. I really do.” Yugi stopped her and looked at Yami. He must have something to him with how Yugi smiled and blushed when he tried to look at her, “but… when you look at me today. When right here and now.” he looked hesitantly at her. The hope in his eyes was breaking her heart, “would you accept my crush now? Would you accept the affection I have towards you?”
Téa felt tears in her eyes. He has waited for me for so long. Not once did he stop hoping... “Yes,” she whispered. Yugi stared at her like he couldn’t believe what he just heard. Flustered, she ducked her head and asked with a shaken voice, “Would you… accept mine?”
“Téa.”
“It took me a while to realize. At first, it was only Yami, but the more weird stuff-”
“Don’t say it like that.”
“More of the strange world around us?” she asked. He thought about it and nodded. She shook her head, amused, and continued, “We saw, I saw a new version of you. And then I realized you are braver, smarter, and more confident than I ever realized. When I look at you-” she gingerly took his hands in hers. Goodness, her heartbeat too fast in her chest, “I like the way you are, Yugi.”
“Téa.”
“I guess I have for a long time now. I…” She felt her tongue grow too big in her mouth. Could she say it? Can she change everything between them? No, she has to take the risk. She needed to take the risk because she wanted to know, “I love you, Yugi.”
Yugi stared at her. He blinked and quickly said. “I l-love you too.” he nearly stumbled over his words with how fast he said them, and he laughed, embarrassed. “I guess I have for a long time.”
“Yugi-” Téa tried, but then Yugi moved closer to her, and her eyes nearly popped out of her skull when she felt his lips against her. It was just a peak, but that was all it took for Téa to short-circuit for a second. Yugi stepped away, and he looked at her with dusted cheeks. She touched her lips in an almost daze. Yugi just kissed her. He kissed her. She looked at him when it finally clicked for her what that meant. “A-are we really doing this?”
“Guess we are.” Yugi shrugged with a smile.
“But what if-” her jaw clapped shut when Yugi moved close to her again. She could feel the heat in her face.
“You are the only one I trust to have a future with, Téa. Nobody else can come close to what we and the others have seen,” he said so gently and lovingly that it made Téa swoon. He kissed her again, and this time, she kissed him back. It was just a tiny peak since none of them really knew how all of this worked. He moved away from her and whispered, “Someday, I want to marry you.”
She almost hit him in the head with her own when she stared shocked at him. “Yugi!”
“I mean it.” he chuckled at her reaction. “I want a future with you.”
Téa opened her mouth. Closed it and looked down at their hands. They haven’t let go of each other. “Someday… I would want that, too,” she said with a blush.
This time… it was her who kissed him.

“Yami!” Yugi yelled when Yami was ripped away from him and trapped in a smaller seal. He disappeared before he could do more than yell. He glared at Dartz. “let him go!”
“Seems like you have been hiding all this time.” Dartz tilted his head, amused, when he realized Yugi was with Yami this whole time. He glances quickly at the Leviathan when he leaves , and the temple stops shaking. “it is ironic that the Nameless Pharaoh goes under the name of Yami when you are the one who bears the true darkness in your heart. In fact, I do believe that the only reason why he has it… it because you drowned him in it while you solved the Millennium Pendant.”
“No… that is not true.” Yugi shook his head in denial. He remembered the fear in Yami’s eyes when he realized that Yugi’s soul element was darkness.
“Is it not? Didn’t you pour your heart and soul into every piece of that Millennium item? Didn’t you treasure it for years?” Dartz asked him. Yugi’s eyes widen. “he is not the same Pharaoh as I saw that day. He is more hostile, quicker to anger, and threatens people with harm or violence. Where do you think he learned that from?” Yugi shook his head, but Dartz pushed the knife further into his heart and pointed at him, “You are the cursed Darkness! You are the reason why everything you touch is hurt or destroyed!”
No… it can’t be. I never meant for my friends or my grandpa to get hurt. I never meant for any of this to happen.
“What I heard about the Millennium puzzle over the years is that it had a warning on it. ¨The one who solves me will receive my dark knowledge and power.¨? Yugi Mutou. The darkness in your heart always surrounds your cursed soul. Just like your beloved Pharaoh, you brought him back for a selfish reason, and now he came back as a wretched and unforgiving soul. His resurrection was never supposed to happen, and now you both will lead this world to destruction.”
A single tear runs down Yugi’s cheek.
