This guy. This is my favorite stalker. I actually met him in a homeless shelter in Bellingham, WA in May of 2017. Within my first two days there he was stalking me to the point of authorities being involved, and he threw a lit cigarette in my hair simply for my refusal to talk to him. I had people tell me that I shouldn't have been so rude to him, etc. What they don't understand is how dangerous men are. This message stands put for many reasons. 1) He consistently finds me on social media even when blocked, without me ever telling him my name. 2) He accuses me of manipulating him in every message. About two months ago, he claimed that I had lived in Bellingham for 5 years (in reality, only 5 months) and that people in jail told him the truth about me and asked why I would start out our "friend relationship" by lying to him. 3) He remembers the most minute details about me that were told in the very first 5 minute conversation I had with him before realizing he was awful. I have like 5% Hungarian in me which I told him when he asked if I was Irish and I said not completely. As a homeless person I like dumpster diving (judge me! Who cares) so he is now seeing me in alley ways in other countries and most likely was in the alleys with me in Bellingham without my knowledge. 4) This man is being ignored but has never failed to be OBSESSED with me to the point that my failure to respond is actually adding fuel to the flames. With each passing message I see him falling deeper into his mental illnesses but I am still at the forefront of his every delusion. Let me remind the world that I was in the same shelter as this man for only 48 hours! 5) These are the cases that can be dangerous. I can't get a restraining order because he messages infrequently, hasn't outright threatened me, and I have no idea where he is. Yet he is here, lurking, most likely reading this right now. Always. If I slip my location setting for one minute I'll get a message saying "So you're in ___ now huh?" 6) HE ISN'T THE ONLY ONE DOING THIS TO ME. Happy 2018, from the Pacific Northwest! Here I am, taking photos of my favorite holiday decorations of the year at midnight, before taking them down tomorrow. I am excited for a fresh start.
