MGMT ACIDS AND WINGS

The New York duo, demanding and used the charts, released a third album dense and psyche. Cosmic encounter with two geeks with long hair and the head.

Young and pretty icons, adored by a public fed hipster cup-cake blueberry, both MGMT speak softly, softly, with this specific politeness Williamsburg (Brooklyn, NY), where they still reside. In their eyes, something a teenager who was not fanned by the global success since their debut. It refers more to the reading of the kind that gave some English artists of the 1980s, more than required, more concentrated, more dry as the great American brothers 1960s. "We love the whole English psyche revival wave tinged punk. The Soft Boys, Dukes of Stratosphear, Tones on Tail and more Julian Cope: these are the major influences on the disc. Closer to the old Albion, is for Andrew and Ben a way to get away again and again from Brooklyn and his hordes of hipsters, the bagel between the teeth, a tote bag shoulder loaded vinyl and cassettes? Not so sure. They continue to live there, even reclusive, and Ben still plays DJ in bars (oyster?).
