omg okay. so idk if you’ve ever seen whisper of the heart but, in it, the mc, shizuku, find this antique shop after following a cat—

and in the antique shop there was a cat statue named ‘the baron’. during the movie, she has this love interest who plans to go to italy to study violin making— but he has to do this ‘trial run’ for three months and if he’s deemed ‘well enough’ he won’t go to high school and he’ll stay to study in italy.

well— while he’s doing his trial run, she makes a promise to write a book.

that book ends up being about the baron.

so people believe that they’re connected since the cat returns focuses on the baron (and haru). aaaannnndddd moon, the cat from whisper of the heart, is also believed to be muta since they have a similar character designs!!
