Introducing my other long boy, Morris!

Morris is an albino Scolopendra Cataracta, who hides during the day and ventures out at night so as not to singe his body. He’s rather shy, as well, so being nocturnal helps. At night, he tends to be a nuisance to nearby farms and orchards, since, despite being a centipede, he tends to eat more like an earwig. His diet usually consists of yams, lettuce, cauliflower, raspberries, apples, pears, bananas, and other such fruits and vegetables. He does need meat, and tends to eat raw, ground up meat as an alternative to hunting. Being a Scolopendra Cataracta, he can swim and eats fish when he can’t obtain his preferred meat. As well, when farmers catch him in the act of eating and stealing crops, he can make a quick getaway by dashing into the nearest body of water and swimming to safety.

I’m on a roll recently!

Here’s Yuvi, Jizo’s adopted son. A teru teru bozu from beyond the sea and high proficiency in changing the weather...when he wants to, that is.

After making endless jokes about how I’d make 20 character designs before I gave Jizo one, here he finally is. He’s not a baku like I thought he would be, but overall I’m happy with him because he feels very squishy.

The inspiration for this design was the velvet worm, a relative of the tardigrade that I recently have become interested in.

Keeping in with his Batan Q heritage, he specializes in herbs that help with sleep or induce dreams, dreamless sleep, or even nightmares. He’s quite prone to napping all day himself! He can also eat the nightmares of sleeping people, and examine their soul.

This is Sunny, the ittan-momen/ao andon hybrid! Despite being very cheerful and bright (true to his name) he’s actually very lonely inside and desperately wants friends. Unlike a lot of monsters in Vitiu, he doesn’t discriminate against humans and wishes companionship from them as well.

Sorry for being absent! It’s been like four months, hasn’t it? I was supposed to finish this a lot sooner than now, but apparently I just lost motivation at the wrong time.

Anyway, a revamp for Morpheus because I’m fickle. I started it in January but just now finished giving it the finishing touches (like getting rid of empty pixels). I can’t tell you much about him, but his bleeding heart is still present, just hidden...and he calls himself the “King of Nightmares”, hence his fancy getup. (he’s actually the king of jack all)
