Banner art for a discord server's anniversary art contest 🦆

The contest was held during the blue bird season, which kinda inspired me to draw the flocks XD

It started as a pretty rough painting, with the protagonist placed in the centre and four skykids riding alongside to match the 4th anniversary theme.

I searched for lots of birb pictures lol yet I still don't get the key point on how to draw a perfect birb. (Drawing wings are sooooo hard...)

A Trip to the Moon – Moomin Expedition

Once again, this was for a discord server event poster. The reference of this artwork is obvious (I suppose XD), which is the famous scene from A Trip to the Moon, a George Méliès film!

⬆️the original scene, which was a bit terrifying.

Poster with promo text included ⬇️ (definitely not promoting cuz the event has been ended already hehe)

Drawing the poster was fun except crosshatching (I almost lost sanity on it 😂)

3 vertical & 3 landscapes. This was made during the concept phase! I personally like B the most... the final work went with A 👀

As you can see there are no hattifatteners in these thumbnails, and I initially didn't intend to add them in. It was not until that I watched Moomin 90s (Japan TV series) and there was a scene that hattifatteners gathering at rainy night... which just gave me the idea. Btw since the next season is confirmed to be Moomin collab, I wish there'll be hattifatteners hiding in the Hidden Forest :D

Welcome to Days of Sunset!

Once again, this drawing was for another Sunlight IAP raffle event in a discord server.

The event name was decided to be called "Stylish Summer Soirée". I searched for some summer soirée poster designs on Google and Pinterest, which inspired me to draw a dusk beach scenery to match the event.

The second pic is promo text included version.

The process of the drawing was a bit challenging XD It took me some time to study sky colours, shadows & ocean waves/foams look under the sunset.

I also did chromatic aberration aka RGB split effect in this poster. You may take a look at the flame, logos and text XD
