Do you guys ever think that part of the reason Tozer is so upset by seeing Collins’ soul be eaten by Tuunbaq is because he realized in that moment what had happened to Heather? I mean obviously he was scared too, but he essentially lost his best friend 3 times. First when Heather was initially attacked and went into coma, second when he was unable to save Heather at Carnivale, and finally when he realized that even if there was some afterlife, Heather’s soul never made it there. There is no chance to ever see him again.

idk if you’ve already gotten one like this but my biggest fear is that i’m being secretly watched. i worry a lot about someone sticking a secret camera in the corner of my room and recording me. idk how that applies to the terror though

I would apply it to Jirv, in the sense that he believes God is always watching him and sees his thoughts. This is scary for Jirv because to him it means that God sees the thoughts he believes are impure and wrong, but that he can’t control.
