Any sick headcannons for agere saja boys?

Absolutely!

The Saja Boys have been demons for a very, very long time. When they're back in human bodies long-term for the first time in literal centuries, they have a lot of grappling with human weaknesses to do. Jinu starts having stress migraines, Baby gets his first nasty cold in like 500 years, and performance/fan-meet/idol life exhaustion and burnout is hitting all of them in ways they never expected.

Baby

Baby is the first one to drop from illness. They go to a big meet-and-greet, he shakes a thousand hands, and is around more people than he has ever been who are comfortable being super close for cute pictures. He wakes up the next day feeling like he's been put through a cement mixer.

Everything hurts, he's so tired, he can't breathe and he just feels disgusting. This whole plan is stupid, this body is stupid and weak and small and stupid, and he just wants to cry about it.

The first time he ever super willingly and openly regressed and leaned super into the "baby" persona because hey, if this is the role Jinu wants him to play, he'll play it.

Very whiney and sooky when he's sick. He needs to make sure everyone knows of how unfair this is, and so he whines. Prone to crying over things that would never normally bother him, or just because.

It's not full-on tantrums, but he'll just start sniffling and crying to himself. It's cathartic and it makes him feel like he's doing something about being sick even if he isn't.

I imagine him laying against Abby or Romance watching a movie and he starts sniffling, and they just pat him on the head and tease him a little, because sick Baby is the polar opposite of how he usually is, regressed or not.

Being sick is when he wants a pacifier the most, but he usually can't have it because his nose is plugged :(

Romance

Gets fussy and frustrated when he's sick.

He's normally an extremely well-behaved and sweet little, but man if being sick doesn't flip a switch in him. He won't share, kicks and throws things, and has a big scowl on his face the whole time.

He never means to hurt anyone or be mean, but because his little age is so young it's one of the only ways he feels he can communicate that he feels awful.

Usually it's Jinu who ends up gently holding onto his wrists and explaining that he isn't allowed to lash out like that because it's dangerous.

They let him beat up some pillows instead, as a treat

Especially hates feeling feverish. That feeling where your skin is so sensitive that the lightest touches hurt and you're shivering. Hates, hates, hates it.

Usually after having a small temper tantrum he dissolves into feeling tired or just upset. Usually apologizes for "being bad" or for not being able to rehearse that day (the only thing he actually says out loud). Goes down for a nap fairly easily as long as someone's there with him.

Baby will play with his hair.

Abby

How he is small vs big when he's sick are very similar to each other. He gets tired and doesn't really want to talk or be around others.

Wraps himself up in a giant blanket and won't leave it until he feels better.

^ You can tell if he's little or big based on this. If he's big, he'll carry the blanket around but leave it to take baths or showers, or to switch clothes he's sweated through, or if he's feverish and too warm. If he's small, he won't leave the blanket behind for anything and would rather neglect tasks in favour of keeping the blankie.

Will only cry if he throws up, and then he'll have a hard time stopping. Really doesn't like throwing up and will work himself up if he starts feeling nauseous.

If he's younger, being sick would be one of the only times he accepts a pacifier. If he's older, he might want to watch a movie but otherwise is going to stay in his room and sulk to himself (will accept snacks through the door).

His voice is kinda odd. His sick voice is extremely low, but when he's small his voice is softer and brightens considerably, so when he's small and sick you never know what you're going to get. You might get Corpse Husband or you might get a voice crack.

Mystery

Doesn't talk much while regressed anyway and definitely doesn't while sick and small. Hardly even makes a sound, and that can make it hard to know what he wants or needs.

Becomes exceptionally clingy, and wants to be picked up or carried often.

Uncooperative. The others insist it's because he's just so young and not feeling good, but Baby knows it's out of spite.

Will not consume, wear, or do anything if it's not exactly the way he wants it.

Shares Romance's hatred of feverish, sensitive skin. If there's anything that will bring him to tears it's that.

Baby becomes his favourite caregiver when he's sick because Baby has a knack for his nonverbal communication and actually knows what he wants.

Baby is also the only one who won't at least rib him a little later for crying because he gets it.

Regressor Jinu Headcanons!

so jinu comes back i'm thinking a la soul eater weapon, ya know what i mean? except he also just goes back to the saja boys like "we're gonna try again bc rumi is ignoring me and I crave attention"

when he regresses, his age range isnt exactly consistent. he likes to say that he regresses to about 5-8, but really its such a mish-mash of traits that he simply regresses to "small"

jinu starts regressing on accident. he's feeling pretty human these days, his shame and his guilt are at the forefront of his mind, and he really needs a way to turn off his brain. so his brain picks the coping mechanism for him and it says that the stuffed animals in the store windows are really cute and fluffy and he should get one

so he does

jinu spends a frankly absurd amount of time in the store comparing different stuffed animals, their fur texture, their size, their weight, etc until he comes out of the store with a big yellow duck with a silly face

jinu definitely hides his regression for a long while, as long as he can get away with, because this is embarrassing. why is wrapping himself up so tightly in his blankets? why is this stuffed animal so nice? why are lullabies so comforting suddenly?

eventually he can't really hide it anymore when the other saja boys are teasing each other and being little turds, and romance starts singing lullabies to try to get on baby's nerves. it works, but it also makes jinu feel Small. now all the saja boys are asking questions because their leader who usually shuts them up is being very quiet...

romance then takes it upon himself to take care of jinu. he's kind of bad at it but he does keep singing lullabies! baby fully just avoids him when jinu says he feels small because he just feels awkward around him. abby tries to help, and he gives jinu piggy back rides. mystery barked at him once and now jinu just kicks at him whenever mystery is around

loooooots of snacks. nothing too spicy though because jinu cannot handle it and he Will throw a fit if he is even slightly uncomfortable. he's a big fan of pepero, though, especially the choco cookie flavor. abby made the mistake of just handing him the box, and next thing he knew the entire box was just gone and jinu had a tummy ache

eventually rumi does find out about jinu's regression, and she tries to help out since she understands what regression is like. unfortunately jinu is older than her when he regresses so her advice isn't as helpful as he might wish (but oh boy does he love teasing her that she's so tiny when he isn't. yes this gets him clocked with a sippy cup but its worth it)

he loves music toys, and he can be occupied for hours with just a plastic guitar

his absolute favorite toy, however, is his tamagotchi. rumi got it for him as a way of teaching him some responsibility and accountability because now he's taking of a lil digital creature that needs him. he takes this very seriously, and he always has his tamagotchi clipped to his jeans or something so he can take care of it no matter how old he's feeling

it does take a small army to keep him from buying like twenty more tamagotchis, however, with the reasoning from rumi that he will get very overwhelmed and then very upset when his tamagotchis start dying because he can't keep up with all of them

he is very grumpy that she's right. he's always grumpy when rumi is right

sussie likes to act like a caregiver, even though this bird is very bad at it. he preens jinu's hair, he brings jinu things, and he annoys him until jinu gets up to take care of himself

derpy is mostly there for cuddles. he's very good at that

once baby gets used to jinu being small sometimes, he tries to offer him a pacifier or bottle to use, but jinu really has no interest in them. he likes having something to chew on, but very rarely is it the actual chewables they have specifically for him to chew on. instead its usually his wrist or his stuffies

hes kind of bad about having accidents because he gets so distracted with whatever he's doing that he just forgets or doesnt even notice that he has to go, so they do get him diaps to try. jinu has threatened all the saja boys to never tell rumi or he Will send them back to gwi-ma

she knows tho because it sticks out of the back of his pants. she just chooses not to say anything, because she's the bigger (haha) person when it comes to teasing

romance is usually the one that changes him, checks him, all that stuff. abby helps out sometimes, especially if jinu wants to insist he should get to keep playing or reading or whatever he has deemed more important. but since this is typically romance's department, he also has an array of cute pajamas he is trying to convince jinu to wear. so far it isnt working but he's sure he will have jinu in a cute dragon onesie very soon

as soon as jinu learns about video games and gets his hands on a switch lite, its over. they cannot distract him, he is a gamer now, this is all that matters until he needs to feed his tamagotchi

ironically not allowed to have soda because it hurts his tummy and then he gets really whiny

thinking about fox pet regression in regards to kevin…

kevin who mostly age regresses but also can just turn into a little creature. Who finds it cathartic to be able to run around on all fours and (gently and lovingly) bite cecil and carlos because he’s just a little fox and foxes don’t get in trouble for doing regular fox things.

cecil who absolutely loves playing with the little critter until he (kevin) falls asleep all curled up.

i feel like at first he'd be a little bit scared of biting, afraid of hurting cecil or carlos because he has absolutely bitten people/things so hard that he has hurt/killed them before, so at first it's just toys. whenever he gets the urge to lovebite, he grabs a squeaky toy and bites it over and over so they can hear the squeaks and know that they're for them. then he eventually starts giving the tiniest nibbles on their arms, and kevin is just so happy that cecil and carlos think it's cute <3

also as a lil fox boy, kevin JUMPS. he just loves jumping, and cecil thinks its the silliest thing ever, so when he plays with kevin he tries to get him to jump as high as he can on all fours. kevin is thrilled and he is just having a Great Time

also, when he's feeling like a lil fox, kevin drags all his blankets under his bed and makes himself a lil den to be all cozy in. carlos will go looking for him and just find the lil guy under his completely stripped bed, the tip of a fox tail the only thing sticking out to tell him that kevin's under there, and carlos takes so many pictures of it every time he sees it because it never gets less cute lollll

this is a wonderful idea as a fox regressor myself, and i adore it sm

i always hate to complain abt agere fic because there's so little of it but ohhhh my goodness whenever i see baby talk in an actual fic i nope out soooo quickly please thats not... how ppl talk... please have mercy please dont make your regressor say "sowwy i's littol" unless they're like. texting someone. and even then its preferred if you dont do that for readability. i've been reading/writing agere fic since 2017 and this has only gotten worse in recent years wahhh
