redoing my bingo challenge. i realized i just wasn't feeling it writing it more about teddy and switched over to remus and tonks. i think i like it better now. i'm going to try to finish tonight/tomorrow and have it up sometime tomorrow because of course hogwarts school year starts september 1!

Tonks carefully folded tshirts and put them on top of the jeans that were already in Teddy's trunk. His uniforms were folded beside her on the bed, ready to go on top of everything else. The final item in the trunk would be the robes, so he could get to them easily on the train.

Remus stood in the doorway of Teddy's bedroom and watched her. He did not mention she could easily have used a spell to fold and pack, he knew she wanted to do this for Teddy. "You know he'll be fine." he said instead.

"Yes. He'll do wonderfully, because he's a wonderful kid." she replied.

"We've got Lyra a few years yet." Remus paused. "We could start over if you wanted."

Tonks snorted. "I think we're done. Two is good."

He shrugged. "Fine by me. We got one of each after all. And Teddy will enjoy Hogwarts, just as you and I did." he added.

"Can you imagine when the professors realize that they've got a Marauder's son? Again?" Tonks asked, continuing to fold.

"I like to think Teddy is a bit more behaved then I was, or Harry was." Remus did hope that was true at least.

"I never made prefect because I couldn't behave myself." she pointed out.

"Well, it's only his first year. He doesn't need to worry about making prefect yet. I did make prefect and I can't say I was the best behaved student."

"I'm going to miss him, you know that?"

Hi, guys! A couple of things:

1. Please, when filling out the form to get your bingo card you spell your tumblr username correctly or copy/paste your tumblr URL. We have two forms currently, one that is not pulling up a tumblr account at all and one that was missing a letter but we still managed to find the account. We just want to insure that you receive your bingo card! If you filled out a form and haven’t received a message from us with your bingo card shoot us a message.

2. Your inbox for messages MUST be open to allow us to send you your bingo card. We currently have one card waiting due to the tumblr account not allowing messages. 

3. We have created an Ao3 collection for those of you who are mainly posting on Ao3. If you decided not to use the collection feel free to tag with #ffwb2021. We would also still love to have you post a link on tumblr for us to reblog if you’re comfortable with it 💜

4. Please, when you post your fics/link to fics to tumblr add in your bingo card with the marked off slots that you've completed so we can keep an eye out for those of you who what to be in the running for spotlight writer! You can also post the bingo card separately at the end when your finished.

5. To be in the running for spotlight writer you must mark of 5 slots on your bingo card--5 horizontally, 5 vertically or 5 diagonally. But you don't have to ONLY do 5. if you finish your five but there's others on the card you still want you write have at it, and of course you can fill the whole card (25 slots)!

UPDATE 💜

Hey guys, I just wanted to give a little update since I’ve had more people following and joining the Fanfic Writers Bingo Challenge. I’ve had a few people reach out to me with question, remember there is a FAQ here that answers most questions!

1. There are NO deadlines! There are no deadlines to sign up, once you get your bingo card there are no deadline to write or post and there are no deadlines for this challenge to end!

2. We have had 20 people enter into this challenge, at the end of the form we ask if there are any tropes you would like to see added, we have gone ahead and added those to the trope/prompt list! You can see the updated list here!

3. A couple people have asked for there to be more smut prompts. While we do plan on adding more smut prompts please know you can absolutely add smut to any prompt you receive! If you get Horror Movie AU...well, all good horror movies involve sex. If you get fluff, you can add smut to that bad boy too! These prompts don't have to be taken literally, this challenge is about having fun we just ask that the content goes with the trope prompt!

4. Opting out to have us reblog your works does not disqualify you from participating in the challenge/getting your own card however we won’t be able to add you as a spotlight writer. We want everyone to be able to participate whether that be publicly or privately!

5. If you opt out of having us reblog your works but change your mind please message @ffwb-admin so that we can change your status, no need to send in a new form. 

6. There’s about 120 prompts, if you choose that you would like any prompts on the list all 120 of those will go into a random generator to pick 25 tropes/prompts for your card. Please, if you aren’t sure that you would really be okay with any tropes/prompts please opt to choose your own tropes/prompts from the list or check out the tropes/prompt list here to read them over. We can’t re-do every card because you don’t like/don’t want a certain prompt on your card. 

7. Spotlight writers will be chosen once a month (for now) once we have more people finishing their bingo cards! Remember to be eligible for spotlight writer you must fill out at least 5 cards on your bingo card--5 in a row, 5 up and down or 5 horizontally or you can fill in every space on your bingo card.

PROMPT LIST

List of all prompts with descriptions that will be available on the BINGO form. More will be added eventually!

- 5+1: Five times your character/pairing did or experienced something and the one time it was different. ex. 5 times *character* failed a test + the 1 time they passed.

- Adoption fic: A fic involving adoption in some way.

- Afterlife: A fic involving the afterlife.

- Age Difference: A fic involving age difference, usually between a couple but you can interpret it however you like.

- Agent/Assassin/Hitman/Spy: Where the character or their love interest is an agent, assassin, hitman, or spy.

- Aging up: Taking a character and aging them, so say there a character who is fifteen in canon but age is an important part of the story so you age them up.

- Alpha/Beta/Omega (ABO): A fic involving the omegaverse where humans take on wolf-like qualities such as but not limited to mating, heat cycles, knotting, and scenting.

- Amnesia: Where a character suffers from amnesia wether there is a medical reason or they just woke up one day with no memory.

- Angels/Demons: A story in which the main characters are either angels or demons. Love interest are usually opposites.

- Angst: A story that invokes feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity

- Apocalypse: Any story involving any kind of apocalypse, think The Walking Dead, World War Z, Resident Evil, I Am Legend, Legion, etc. 

- Arranged/Forced Marriage: A story where a character(s) are in a forced/arranged marriage. Usually by their parents but can sometimes be for political or social reasons.

- BDSM: BDSM includes a wide range of practices and role play. Can be used in a sexual context but it is not always a sexual dynamic.

- Baker/Chef/Personal Chef: Where a love interest is a baker, chef or personal chef.

- "Bareback Mountain" AU: Alternate universe inspired by the film Brokeback Mountain, usually in m/m fiction.

- Based on a movie: A story based on a movie.

- Based on a painting: A story based on a painting.

- Based on a poem/quote: A story based on a poem or quote.

- Based on a song/lyrics: A story based on a song or song lyrics.

- Bodyswap: In which two (or more) characters switch bodies. Often to be taught a lesson but that isn't always the case.

- Break-up: A story revolving around a break up or maybe beginning with a break up that leads into a happy ending.

- Car accident: A fic involving a car accident.

- Character Death: Major or minor. Character death is just that, the death of a character.

- Childhood/Highschool Sweethearts: A story about childhood or highschool sweethearts.

- Coffee Shop AU: In most cases, one half of the main pairing is the barista and the other is or becomes their favorite customer; in some stories the whole cast works at a coffee shop.

- College: A story taking place in college.

- Confessions of Love/Lust: One character confesses feeling of love or lust.

- Confessions of Love/Lust--Under the influence: One character confesses feeling of love or lust while under the influence.

- Crack: Crack Fic is any story whose premise and events would be completely implausible in Canon. Also usually a fic not meant to be taken seriously.

- Crime/Mystery: A story involving or revolving around a crime or mystery.

- Cross-dressing: Where one character dresses as the opposite gender. Usually used in NSFW fics but doesn't have to be written in a sexual context.

- Cross-over: Where one fandom crosses over with another fandom(s).

- Cuddling for warmth: Where two love interest have to cuddle together due to coldness and usually results in the confession of feelings.

- Dance AU: Any story that involves dance. Could se something like Step Up or Dirty Dancing.

- "Dear John" AU: An AU based on the move Dear John where one half of a couple is away in the military and the other is in their home state waiting for them to come home. Can be written many different ways.

- "Didn't know they were dating": In which two character are basically dating or show all of the characteristics of a couple who is dating but they are both oblivious to it until someone in their lives points it out.

- Domestic Life: A story showing the domestic lives of two characters, usually in a relationship.

- Doppelgänger/Evil Twin: In which a character has a doppelganger or evil twin who wants to take over and ruin their lives.

- Dub-con: Dubious Consent, usually in a sexual context. Can be written many ways but one examples is two people having sex while under the influence of alcohol or other substences.

- Elf AU: Where one or all characters are elves.

- Enemies to Friends back to Enemies to Lovers: Where two people start out as enemies, become friends, revert back to enemies and then become lovers.

- Enemies to Lovers: Where two people start out as enemies and become lovers.

- Episode tag: A fic based on a particular episode.

- Fake Dating: Where two characters pretend to data and usually end up developing feeling for one another.

- Fantasy AU: And story that takes place in a fantasy world or involves fantasy elements such as but not limited to magic, faries, and witches.

- First Time: A fic about someones first time. Usually in a sexual way but could be first time doing anything.

- Fix-it: A chance to fix a scene you just know could have/should have turned out differently.

- Forbidden Lovers: In which two characters are forbidden from being together, usually by a parent.

- Forced break-up: Two characters who are forced to break up, could be because of a parent or to protect their love interest.

- Found Family: Where characters who are mostly unrelated bond together and form their own family unit, relying on each other for love and support.

- Friends to lovers: Friends who become lovers.

- Genderswap: In which one or more characters are written as the opposite gender.

- General AU: The opportunity to write in any AU such as but not limited to soulmate AU, sex worker AU, etc.

- Ghosts: A fic involving ghosts in some way.

- Hate sex/Enemyslash: Where two people have angry rough sex. This could be a couple who is mad at one another or a hero and bad guy that give into their sexual tension.

- Highschool AU: AU that takes place in highschool.

- Historical AU: AU that takes place at a point in history that is not the present.

- Horror Movie AU: Story based on a horror movie/book.

- Hurt/Comfort: Where one character is hurt and another comforts them.

- Hurt on the job: Where a character is hurt at their job.

- Hybrid: A fic involving or revolving around hybrids of any kind.

- "In denial": Where a character is in denial about something wether its feelings, a break up, grief or loss.

- Isolated/Trapped: Where a character is isolated in some way or trapped.

- Kidfic: A fic that involves kids.

- Kidnapped: A fic that involves or revolves around kidnapping.

- Kink: Any NSFW kink of your choosing.

- Knotting: Part of the ABO universe, used in a sexual context.

- Left for dead: Where a character is left for dead in someway.

- Loss of parents: A fic that involves or revolves around a character losing their parents.

- Lovers to Enemies: Lovers who become enemies.

- Mafia/Mob: In which a character or their love interest is involved with the mob/mafia.

- Magic AU: Alternate universe in which magic is prevalent.

- "Magical healing cock": In which a characters cock is able to heal their partner in some way, shape or form.

FAQ:

Q: How long does this event last?

A: That's the fun part of this event, there is no end! Once a month (beginning in October 2021) we will hold a more competitive challenge that anyone can sign up for, and will have deadlines and specific tropes to write for!

Q: When should I get my BINGO card?

A: Anywhere from several hours to a week. It depends entirely on how busy we are/how many people have sent in request forms. Different things factor in and we will try our absolute best to get your card to you as quickly as possible!

Q: Which fandoms can we write for?

A: ANY and ALL fandoms are welcome. You can write for any fandom and each prompt can be written for a different fandom/pairing! Each bingo card had 25 slots so if you wanted to write 25 different fics for 25 different fandoms/pairings that would be totally acceptable!

Q: I sent in an application, but did not receive a card. Why is that?

A: Most likely, it is because your submissions were closed. If, however, your submissions are open and you still did not receive a card, it's probably because either the Google Docs form did not go through or Tumblr ate the submission. Message us off of anon and we'll get it sorted!

Q: Can we submit completed fics for this BINGO that are also written for other BINGO's or writing events?

A: As long as the other event allows it, yes, that's fine so be sure to read the other challenge's rules.

Q: I posted a filled prompt and you didn’t reblog it. Why is that?

A: We aim to reblog all filled prompts. However, due to Tumblr being Tumblr, occasionally we will miss a filled prompt due to the post not showing up in the tag and/or an @ not making it onto our activity feed. So if you have posted a filled prompt and it has been 48 hours or more without us reblogging, that means we didn’t see it, so you can go ahead and submit or direct message the link to us and we’ll get to it as soon as possible.

Q: Can we make our own cards, or do we have to get them from you?

A: In order to keep track of who’s participating, we ask that you specifically request a card from us. The mods are active and should be timely in getting you your card. If you’d like to make your own, feel free - we don’t own these tropes. However, if you make your own, don’t tag the completed fic as #FFWB2021 or @ fanfic-writers-bingo. Only cards made and distributed by us are included in the event.

Q: Do we have to post the fics we write for this event?

A: It’s not required. You can request a card for personal/private use if you’d like.

Q: Are there any prizes?

A: Bragging rights, a spot in the Writers Spotlight, a sense of accomplishment, and a boost to your grand total fanfic word count. That’s all the reward you need, right?

FANFIC WRITERS BINGO

Hi! Some of you may know me as Cheyanne from @gallavich1012! I'm a multi-fandom writer and I run this blog (and my personal fandom blog) with my husband. We made this page for other writers to have a fun little challenge.

If you're anything like me you'll see these other writing challenges and BINGO accounts that have time restrictions or deadlines or focus on one fandom or trope but not here!

Once you request your BINGO card with your desired tropes/genres you'll have as long as you please to write as many or as little as you wish for whatever fandom and pairing you choose. If you fill up five or more spaces on your BINGO card you could be featured here as a spotlight writer!
