When creating a character, there’s a lot of questions you ask yourself. Whether it’s an original character or one you’ve been playing for a long time, using a character sheet to get to know your character better can always be a nice idea. With it’s help, you’ll be able to think about things you didn’t necesarily thought about, and ask some important questions to yourself that might activate your character’s voice, or help you to get your muse back with them. Everyone has their favorite character sheets, some people prefer to have a lot of questions, some others like it a bit more vague, so here’s a masterlist of the character sheets I found on various websites and found quite interesting, plus some other things that could be used to help you see, for example, how other character view yours.

With these sheets, you could also try to find your character’s Jung and Enneagram Type or use the Moral Alignment tool. All of these things can be really useful to get a better grip on a character.

Then, if you’re trying to create a character, and do not have many ideas, or get stuck, I’d suggest for you to roam around TVTropes, which gives you a lot of tropes used for character creation. Maybe you could try to mix a few of these and create an original character?

Or, if you’re a skillful writer and know how to make your character different from another, make a list of characters in fiction you happen to find interesting and why. Try to keep it short. Then, maybe, try to mix and match things from two or three characters, take a character and change their backstory, to see what would change. Play with them to inspire yourself and create something new, original and truly yours.

Oh, and here’s a little guide to Mary-Sues and OCs, just in case you want to make sure your character isn’t going to become a Mary-Sue or a Gary-Stu

And last but not least, this article about building fictional character definitely seemed interesting to me, and is full of many other links that could guide you during the creating of your character and help you file one of these sheets.

Forsaken

The fog had come, and so had the monsters. Lucius has to defeat these creatures before they massacre the human. He has to work along with people to beat the horrors that occurred to the city. He will brave some dark forces and challenging situations where he might not return.

Suppose you like Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Or even code vein. Possibly this would be enjoyable for you

Forsaken in the graveyard:

The day started with that fog, and with the fog came the creatures- named the Böse. The monsters with four eyes, jagged teeth, and sharp fingers, Bald and melted torn clothes were thrown together into a giant mess. Their skin the color of dust in the wind after a fire had burnt away half a town.

This epidemic seems to cover the whole continent, maybe the entire world, if possible. They ravaged the city; few who knew better stayed inside their homes, some ventured out in courage to brave the monsters outside of safety.

But this only came with dismay as some who ventured out didn't know how to fight back when the monsters surrounded them. Then people found out that sound attracts the Böse, so they try to be as quiet as possible. Careful to not speak so loudly or scream while they're out in the dirty streets of Emberbay. The whole city was dead silent; the only sound there was the noises from the Dust creatures.

The story begins; the graveyard was vacant, seeing as the Böse were in the city's populated areas. No one went to the cemetery anymore since the pandemic happened - for obvious reasons.

There was a man there, lying face down in the dirt path. He slowly made his way up to his feet as his hood hide his facial features, the shawl in question was white with gold trimming on its hood, and the sleeves have a gold medal ban on them. The tails of the mantle blew in the wind, and he was able to stand with some effort.

Looking around, he realized he didn't recognize anything around him, nor did he know where this was. The only thing he knew was that his name was Lucius. He noticed that a Bayonet and an ax were lying spread out on the ground around him. Grabbing the bayonet, he felt like he has had to do something, but he can't remember what that was.

The wind picked up and almost blew off Lucius' hood; grabbing it quickly, he looked at the gate to the cemetery, which flew open when the wind went through it. A creature went through the doors, and a Böse walked into the graveyard aimlessly, unsure where it's going.

Noticing Lucius, it started twisting and twitching around, making strangling noises with its throat, making noises humans cant make. Then it lunges at the man standing away from it. Jumping out from the Böse, he grabs his Bayonet and shoots at the Böse.

The creature fell on its back and struggled to get up, wriggling around and screaming, not able to make it to its feet. It started to claw at the air as if trying to grasp onto something that wasn't there.

Grabbing the Axe off the ground, Lucius walked cautiously over to the fallen creature and swung the Axe in the air, ready to crash it down on the Böse. Only for the Böse to slam its foot into his stomach, knocking the air out of his lungs.

Lucius stumbled back as the Böse jumped to his feet; he felt foolish, being fooled by the Böse. He growls under his breath as he gets his breath back, standing back up with his Axe hanging loosely in his hand as he huffed out a puff of air, his knuckles white with how tightly his fists were.

A scream knocked him out of his thinking. He was looking back at the Böse, just in time to see the Böse jumping at him. He moved out of the way just before its claw slammed down on him. Dust got kicked up as the nails met with the dirt; Lucius falls on his back and quickly gets back up from his position.

Out of fear, he swipes his Axe at the creature and hits its mark, right in the ribs. He puts some effort into the force and slams into the Böse again, sending it flying backward and cutting into it deeply.

Panicking for a minute, he got some distance between him and the Böse. He had adrenaline coursing through his veins. He had to get away from it. Running through the door of the gate on the opposite side of the graveyard. Right into the torn apart streets, carriages are either on the side of the roads or upside down.

Looking around at the devastation in despair and awe. The city just looked like it's been torn to shreds by whatever has been through here. The wind blew around and blew a few papers into Lucius' face. Grabbing that same paper to see a very realistic drawing of the Böse with its name on the side of the side profile drawing.  He stared up to where he imagined the sun to be, and everything went black as he felt something hit the back of his head.

Voltron Season 7 (I loved it!)

Alright so unpopular opinion: I loved the newest season! I’ll go over what I liked and what I didn’t, because nothing is perfect. BUT NOTE: I think a lot of things that I’m critiquing may not be the writer’s fault, I know that a lot of things have gotten cut or made shorter because the show is meant for kids and sometimes even the writers aren’t even sure what ends up in the season. And some of it maybe bad writing too… we just don’t know! But here we go!

First of SO PROUD OF MY BOY LANCE! What great fucking content, bless, so cool (like sniper Lance is BACK baby and he is honestly one of the most important characters this season like so much happened and he was INSTRUMENTAL in getting it done) joking about death (#concerned) but man! Love it

SO PROUD OF MY OTHER SON HUNK, god finally an arc for him! my sweet baby so proud (ALSO BAYARD UNLOCKED! Character development! Keith hug! The Heith is strong with this one)

SHIRO MY POOR SON I’M SO SORRY THEY KEEP HURTING YOU also I know the whole Adam thing has upset a lot of people (you know, the bury your gays) which I can get and the writers did a pretty shitty job of justifying it? Like we didn’t know him so the emotional impact was really on the gay community there. Plus Shiro has been through too much and he’s the only conically gay character (that we know of) so is it a coincidence? Maybe? But maybe they just give him all the shit since he’s the oldest? But seriously that’s too much y’all. Like you want emotional impact? Any of the other characters we knew were on Earth would have had more of an impact than Adam, and I really wish we could have gotten to know him more.

Also speaking of hurt people: Lance dear lord, first you fucking DIE last season which I doubt anyone but Allura knows about. Then while trying to protect Veronica he fucking CLOSES HIS EYES AND ACCEPTS DEATH, I know this is war and your priorities change in those circumstances but honestly I’m really concerned about my son

THE ANIMATION WAS BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IDK why people think that Keith and Acxa are going to become canon? (Not that anything is wrong with that! Everyone can ship whoever they like!) Like Ezor and Zethrid make fun of them (only because Acza won’t kill him cause she actually has a moral compass) and now everyone thinks their a thing? Like he saves her in one episode and he’s done that before????? Like???? Did we see different seasons? I know she showed up at the end there but like, didn’t feel romantic to me?

Ezor and Zethrid are not dead, guarantee it, we’ve seen people survive explosions before AND their ship didn’t explode at the end of the episode! So I think our LESBIANS ARE ALIVE Y’ALL (Let’s go Lesbians!) 

Also I totally support Allura and Lance (I’m a multishipper, even if Klance is my main ship) and I know people are mad because they hoped that Klance would be canon king BUT that’s the whole thing about shipping, it doesn’t matter if it becomes canon or not what matters is that you enjoy the ship whether or not it’s in the show!

But I think they are cute! I know some people think it’s a rebound thing because Allura didn’t seem interested at all after she found out that Lance liked her. But keep in mind I’m pretty sure that was when she still had a thing for Lotor. I think after Lotor and with how much Lance has grown she’s truly considering him, so I don’t get rebound vibes here. I support Allura and Lance, I think it’s coming on naturally and they are adorable!

ATLAS is dope as FUCK and I’m so excited that Shiro is the Captain.

Last episode made me cry. “It’s been an honor to fly with you all” AUTO TEARS and they were all READY TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES AND I CAN’T

Also SO EXCITED to see what happens next!

Overall I think a lot of the trouble with Voltron stems from how the show is showcased to people. I honestly think the show overall could be more what the fandom wants if it had been an anime not geared towards children and instead geared towards teens. That way we could have more character interaction, longer arcs and overall more story development. But not the case. So I think aside from a few things, the season was great and I enjoy Voltron and I’m in it for the LONG HAUL and I can’t wait to see where they go next!
