Hi I just wanna ask if you know the title of the fanfic that got deleted because the author is publishing it?? It had a red and blue picture on it with light and fang on each side.. I think it's about recantation??

Goodmorning, Sunshine (Fangrai snippet)

Lightning woke up with the sun in her eyes. The woman murmured incoherent vulgar at the morning sun that was painted across her bedroom as she stirred, wondering to herself; how did she forget to close the blinds? She had started to roll over when she felt something firm, yet yielding on her mattress. Oh, she remembered, that’s how.

This was the first morning she had awoken with Fang at her side; the residual effect of their fourth date. They hadn’t done anything, Lightning had insisted that all they would do this night is share a bed, but already she felt her face growing warm with the memories of last night. It was, by Lightning’s standards, the most fulfilling night she had had with another woman. Instead of going out, they had opted for pizza and movies at Lightning’s place. As Fang had suggested, it would give them the privacy they needed to really explore their relationship. It was, of course, a ploy to get more physically intimate with the pinklette, but the night really did turn out well.

Eventually, there would be more – there had to be; but for now both women were fully content.

For Lightning, there weren’t any more questions about what she was doing with Fang. She was continuously blown away with Fang’s patience and Lightning’s hesitance to move forward. Not to say Lightning was a stranger to relations with another person. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Lightning certainly did have a way with both men and women alike. But despite all her experience, none of those relationships or experiences were ever serious. No one had ever broken through Lightning’s defenses before.

And until now the fact that Fang had scared her.

Next to her, Fang slept peacefully. The unfiltered sunlight warming her honey colored skin and bringing specs of red to her usually dark and wild hair to life. It was strange for Lightning to see the playful and attentive Fang so relaxed and defenseless. Lightning shifted in her bed and brushed some of Fang’s untamed hair from her face. She debated on waking her warrior up before deciding against it and instead carefully crawled over Fang and toe walked to the master bath that was connected to her room.

Looking herself over in the mirror, the soldier scratched at her messy bed head with squinted eyes before shrugging her less than immaculate appearance off as her usual morning self. She grabbed her toothbrush, and made quick work of her morning breath with one hand while pulling back curtains and drawing the water to her shower with the other.

Putting her toothbrush neatly back in its place, Lightning removed her wrinkled crew neck white T shirt, noting that it faintly smelled of Fang.: sweet like honey, earthy like freshly cut grass, and with just a hint of a musk she had no comparison for. The scent was entirely unique to the tanned woman, and it was beyond enticing.

Once nude – and no longer thinking about smelling like Fang – Lightning got under the piping stream of water. The pink haired soldier had been told far too many times by her sister that she liked her bathing water to be ‘turn your bathroom into a sauna’ hot, and while Lightning herself never noticed, her mirror was already beginning to fog over.

She stayed under the steady stream for quite a while before finally deciding to get to work; enjoying almost too much the relaxing pulsation of the hot droplets that hit her back and neck. With hair and body washed, Lightning breathed softly, saying her internal goodbyes to any lingering hint of the previous night and then turned the water off. Once beginning to dry herself down she heard a soft murmurer from her bedroom. Unsure of if Fang was merely stretching or actually waking up, Lightning continued to dry herself completely before opening the door and releasing the steam into her bedroom.

And it was through the steam that she saw a hazy goddess of a woman beginning to wake.

Under wild and untamed hair, Fang’s eyes opened. Her wild locks with just the slightest curve splayed about and captured the morning light so perfectly that Lightning’s had to forcefully keep her mouth closed. “Good morning, Sunshine.” Came a raspy grumble from the depths of her tired throat.

“Good morning.” Lightning responded warmly, hanging the damp towel over her closet door for it to dry.

“I was talking to the sun, actually. But guess who just got a new nickname.”

Lightning rolled her eyes, a smile cracking through her stoic surface. “Pick a different one.”

Fang answered her with the widest, most wicked grin Lightning had ever seen. “No.”

HOWEVER!! Extra cookies and crystarium points if: Light is a life-guard there. Fang sees her and decides to get a kiss from Light by pretending she’s drowning. The thing is, Light saw through her scheming all the time yet decides to follow Fang’s game.

It’s Vanille’s turn to choose the activity for ‘Anything can happen Thursday’ and chooses Salsa lessons for the Ex L’Cie. Lightning is horrified at the thought of dancing in front of her friends. She may be graceful on the battlefield but on the dance floor she becomes a bumbling clod. Luckily for the soldier Fang has an aptitude for the sensual dance and kindly offers Lightning some private lessons.
