He never tired of having someone like a sibling by his side. Or in this case, a sibling through his found family. It was easy for him to slot into the big brother role that Futaba likely never had, and it was a comfort knowing someone had his back just as much as he had theirs. For better or worse.

So for her to state that she was there for him in this moment sent little butterflies of relief fluttering through his chest. She's come so far in only such a short amount of time. It makes him proud as he reaches over to gently pat her head, a small smile tugging at his lips.

"You do, huh?" He retracts his hand quickly before she could try swatting his ministrations away. His voice goes light as he teases, "I never would've guessed."

Pouring a glass of cold coca, he slides it over the bar towards her. His smile widens ever so slightly as he turns his attention back to wiping down the counter.

Back home he had some friends and a family related by blood, but he's not sure he's ever felt as secure as he does here in Tokyo. It makes him feel warm. Not so alone in this world.

"Does this mean even on the baddest rollercoaster in Destinyland you'll be my ride or die partner?"

Hello and welcome!! It's Bri at it again, but this time with an RP blog for Akira Kurusu / Joker from P5 & P5R! Just as a side note: My take on Akira is still a heavy work in progress. I don't have a solid foundation for where I plan on taking him just yet, but I do have some ideas that are brewing. So please, feel free to ask me questions and HC things!! This blog is just as much of a space for me to write as it is a place for me to build my own Akira's canon.
